A fantastic blend of marine animals and thrill rides, SeaWorld is home to both Shamu the killer whale and Kraken, the floorless coaster. My five-year-old is obsessed with the Titanic. He doesn't recall that we toured the Titanic Museum in Belfast when he was 2.5, but this was a highlight for him and me too. While Belfast focused a lot on the ship, this museum was more about the people. We went on the guided tour which I highly recommend. The guide is so knowledgeable and we encountered two fabulous actors along our journey. You are presented boarding passes and at the end learn if your passenger survived. The exterior of the building is rather lackluster, but the tour is great, so don't be apprehensive when you arrive.

Nightlife at Pointe Orlando If you’re coming for a drink, there are a few main venues to look out for at Pointe Orlando. B.B King’s Blues Bar is a fun spot to hit up on weekends for their live bands (a cover charge of $5-10 normally applies). The Pub is a British-style boozer that mixes things up with American comfort food, while Blue Martini goes more traditional, with a sophisticated layout and impressive menu of cocktails. The famous Improv Comedy Club promises a night of adult-only laughs. Since opening some 40 years ago, this club has been heralded as a launching pad for the careers of dozens of famous comedians, such as the late Robin Williams, Adam Sandler, Jerry Seinfeld, and Drew Carey. Dining at Point Orlando Most of the restaurants at Pointe Orlando open for lunch (around midday), and continue serving throughout the day until 9pm or 10pm. Considering the size of the place, the range of cuisine here is undeniably impressive. Look out for Copper Canyon Grill, Marlow’s Tavern or the Capital Grille for some casual, no-nonsense dining. Head to the more upscale Itta Bena, a speakeasy-style fine-dining restaurant that focuses on refined Southern classics with a creative touch from the chef. More restaurants further diversifying the dining scene at Pointe Orlando are The Oceanaire (seafood), Taverna Opa (Greek) and Maggiano’s Little Italy (Italian). Things to do at Pointe Orlando Eating and drinking aren’t the only reasons Pointe Orlando is worth an afternoon or evening of your time. The onsite Regal Movie theaters has a range of standard screens as well as Central Florida’s largest IMAX Theatre. Another family-favorite attraction is WonderWorks, an indoor amusement park with over 100 exhibits, rides and games for the kids, all set in a building modeled to look like an upside-down house. Tubing! Go early (before 9 a.m.). The park reaches capacity quickly and once it does, the gates are closed for the day. You can call ahead to see if the park is already full. Note: you cannot reserve entry in advance. THERE ARE NO TUBES FOR RENT INSIDE THE PARK so you must get your tubes before you enter. There is a rental office a few minutes down the road or you can bring your own. Inflate before entering the park. Once you are on the tube it's about a 30-minute tube right from start to finish. You'll be moving the whole time but it's very chill and easygoing. Little-kid friendly.

Rock Springs is a great trip for those looking for crystal clear water in our crystal clear kayaks only a short distance from Orlando, Florida! This adventure includes an intermediate paddle upstream through Emerald Cut starting from Kings Landing with a relaxing drift back to the launch site. The first half of the paddle is a little bit of a workout, but the float back is worth the effort. We will take a few stops along the way to give your arms a break and to give you a chance to enjoy the beautiful surroundings. There are several deeper areas (4-6 feet deep) where participants can take a quick swim if they choose. The water is 68-70 degrees year round and we highly recommend taking a dip in the refreshing spring waters! The majority of the paddle is only about 2-4 feet deep which makes it easy for getting out to enjoy the water on one of our few breaks along the way! Nature surrounds the clear spring water everywhere you turn.

21 Miles away. Is a must-see when visiting Orlando. There's a circular trail about 2 miles long surrounding the perimeter of the lake and its such a beautiful walk/jog/run. There's artwork along the trail that's perfect for pictures and documenting your time there. There are little restaurants on the trail including highly rated World of Beer, known for its specialty drinks during Happy Hour. Lake Eola has a bike path, you can feed ducks and swans, a swan self-paddle boat, and multiple patches or grass where you can lay down a blanket and enjoy a picnic, take in the fresh air and enjoy a nap. There are plenty of events that occur throughout the year at the park that are worth attending as well. Keep an eye out for these events and the Farmers market, it will be great experience!

There are 5 Village Squares, the main ones are Sumter (Central area 5-10 minute golf cart ride), Spanish Springs (North area 15-20 Cart ride) and Brownwood (South area 15-20 minute Cart ride). There is nightly outside entertainment at these Squares. Usually Happy Hours ranging from 3-5 pm at several of the restaurants with outside and inside seating. There are also nice eating areas at the Club Houses of most of the Golf Course venues. Outside the Villages within an hour or two are the Beaches of the Gulf coast and Atlantic coast with vast number of sightseeing and eating venues.
