Kid-friendly vacation rentals in Old Town, Bologna

We had a wonderful stay. The apartment is very centrally located, beautifully and lovingly decorated, and had everything we needed. Communication was super easy and smooth. Highly recommended :)

Fantastisk vistelse !!! Vi var 3 personer som bodde här i 5 nätter. Ligger bara 30 min utanför Bologna uppe i bergen med en makalös utsikt. Vi fick varsitt sovrum som alla var svala trots värmen ute. Lyxigt med 2 badrum med både dusch och toa när man är flera. Finns allt man behöver och till och med en tvättmaskin om man är där länge och behöver tvätta. Varje morgon stod det nybakade godsaker utanför dörren till oss som herren som har huset hade ordnat. Otroligt lugnt och fridfullt och det ända man hör under hela dagen är de olika fåglarnas kvittrande. Hit åker vi gärna igen❤️

This Airbnb was by far the best one we have stayed in during our 35 day trip roaming Italy. Fiorella's attention to detail is top shelf. She has thought of everything you might need right down to slippers. Even the sheets on the bed were nice and soft and had a faint hint of lavender. She was very quick to response to my inquiry about GF options in the area and suggestions of these to do in Bologna. We will definitely stay her again and refer friends.

Beau gîte avec un jardin calme et très accueillant. Lits très confortables. Gentilles intentions de la part de Tiziana qui avait confectionné de bons petits biscuits appréciés aux petits déjeuners pris dans le jardin. Bonne adresse pour visiter Bologne Parme et Modène...

La maison est parfaite, petite mais avec tout le nécessaire. Le jardin est vraiment agréable et l’environnement très calme. Le village de Bazzano est sympathique et on y trouve tout ce qu’il faut: supérettes, merveilleux glacier, bars et restaurants. C’est un parfait point d’étape pour visiter Bologne, Modène et la belle campagne alentour. Une belle semaine de vacances !

Really cute modern and small apartment with its own garden and parking space . Had everything we needed to stay in Bologna and was located in a nice area with easy access to city centre Lorenza waited for us to arrive and showed us around the flat with local recommendations for restaurants. She was so kind when my 2 years old forgot her bag and a couple of toys and agreed to post them to us in London . Thank you so much for everything 😊

The place is perfect if you plan to have one-day-trip to visit nearby towns; I visited 4 different towns plus Bologna historic center while I stayed there and it was hassle free. Also, going to Bologna historic center is easy from the central train station. The place is clean and spacious. It has everything for long stays. I felt right at home after a day of endless walking. Katia was very accommodating and super helpful with tips and recommendations; she was always at the top of everything. I highly recommend this place.

This is the perfect place to feel at home while exploring Bologna and nearby towns. It's a lovely walk to downtown, close to the public gardens and playgrounds, and easy to catch a bus to the train station. The hosts met us at the apartment, provided great pizza recommendations, supplied toys for our kids, and responded quickly when we needed anything. We had a great time in this apartment.

Notre séjour chez Caterina à été parfait. Le logement est fonctionnel, lumineux et, petit plus, possède une place de parking. Caterina est un hôte irréprochable, toujours à se soucier du bien-être de ses locataires. Elle est joignable à chaque instant (même lorsqu'elle est envacances !!) et est très réactive. Bref, je recommande totalement le logement de Caterina. Merci pour tout et pour votre gentillesse.

This place gave us our first impression of Italy and it was wonderful! Franca was very responsive and helpful with check-in, and spent time giving us recommendations for food, activities, and transport advice. Our favorite thing in Bologna was something she suggested we go to see! She was an excellent host. The location was unmatched--across the street from the train station, next door to a convenience store, and a breakfast cafe on the opposite corner. We will definitely try to stay here again if we're ever back in Bologna.

Such a great Airbnb! Perfect location for exploring Bologna by foot. The place was just like the pictures, so spacious and airy and so lovely. We did not use the kitchen much but it was very well equipped, the bed was really comfy and overall we loved our stay. Elisa was really responsive leading to our stay, and she gave us lots of recommendations and tips for our trip. Definitely recommend!

Vaatimaton, mutta puhdas, siisti ja käytännöllinen asunto vanhan kaupungin tuntumassa. Ympäristö rauhallinen, ei liikennemelua, ainoastaan rappukäytävän ja seinän takaa kuului ääniä, mutta vanhoissa taloissa äänieristyksen kanssa usein näin. Olimme oikein tyytyväisiä ja suosittelen.

Luisa was very quick to fix a shower head that was broken when we arrived. She arranged for a plumber to come as soon as he was able and made sure there was someone to let him in as we were on a tour in Florence. A variety of snacks and coffee were in the kitchen. Very pleasant stay, would recommend her apartment.

Our first visit to Bologna and it certainly met our expectations. Excellent location and such a beautiful place. Bologna has such a great feel to it. The bakeries are amazing and inexpensive. Lots of choices for food. We particularly enjoyed and would recommend Simone. We had the Royale platter which was more than enough for two. The apartment had everything we could need and there was a lovely bar just across the way. Ideal for a night cap after a day exploring.

Wonderful home on the very edge of Bologna- walkable to everything yet quiet when you want to retreat for some peace.

Sehr schöne, geräumige Wohnung, sehr gut ausgestattet und gut gelegen für Stadterkundungen. Bester Eisladen der Stadt nur wenige Minuten entfernt. Und das Highlight ist der Balkon, auf dem sich morgens ein Kaffee in der Sonne genießen lässt.

We had a wonderful stay at this lovely apartment just a 10-minute walk from the Bologna train station. The space was even bigger than we expected—clean, comfortable, and well-equipped, with the bonus of two bathrooms, which was perfect for our group. Having an elevator was especially helpful since I was traveling with my senior parents. Maria was an exceptional host. She went above and beyond to make us feel welcome, meeting us early so we could store our bags and get started exploring the city without hassle. She took the time to go over everything we needed to know about Bologna and shared great recommendations that made our visit even more enjoyable. We decided to stay in Bologna for a week in order to explore that beautiful city and travel out to places like Ravenna and Florence. We're so glad we did! Bologna is insanely beautiful and there is so much to do there. I would go back there in an instant. What made it especially great was Jonathan and his amazing place. He was so kind and helpful and our accommodation was delightful! We loved returning to that beautiful historic building every night. It was so close to all the best parts of Bologna yet so peaceful and charming. You must stay there! Thankyou so much for making an amazing memory for us Jonathan!

the place looks even better than the pictures! a great location and place to stay. host was super flexible and helpful and even recommended a free concert next door. the stay was awesome!

Grazie per questo soggiorno, che per sfortuna abbiamo dovuto accorciare. L'appartamento è bello calmo, pulitissimo e comodo. Si trova vicino alla stazione dove si può prendere il treno per Bologna, eppure al piede dei colli bolognesi che sono proprio la campagna a due passi della città. Anna si è mostrata gentilissima di accoglierci mentre siamo arrivati in ritardo di sera.

We stayed 3 nights in Bologna and enjoyed our stay at Mum’s House. It was very spacious, and very convenient to the train station (literally across the street). Franca did a job making us feel welcome and at home. She did an excellent job describing the place and the pictures are accurate. I think what we enjoyed the most (outside of the convenience next train station) was having plenty of space to spread out. She provided us with some refreshing beverages upon arrival in the refrigerator.

The unit is very clean and nice. There was construction in front of the building but it was still easy to access and very close to garage. Easy 10-15 minutes walk to the vibrant restaurant and cafe scene.
