Bright apartment in Bolognina

VeeRating, 5 stars1 week ago
Thanks for the hosting by Arianna. The apartment is close to the train station with walkable distance so that we can reach there easily. The entire place is looking exactly the same as the photos shown, which is cozy, clean and tidy. P.S. The apartment is on the 4th floor, I will definitely recommend to those travelling with light and handy luggages. Gracias and Ciao!

Bologna Porta Lame it037006c222cgj3tt

Almost everything was great, especially the kitchen and bathroom. Since Italy has stringent recycling and garbage disposal rules, it was unfortunate that the apartment did not have presort bins. Worse yet, the previous tenant lost the key card needed to dispose of miscellaneous waste (i.e. stuff that isn't simple paper, plastic, glass, or organic - which is more than one would think) so we needed to be rather creative about that. It would have been better had we been told about it ahead of time. The other oddity was that the dining table had only one chair, making it an awkward arrangement for two people. The kitchen counter had two stools but we needed that space for makeshift recycling bins. The apartment faces the courtyard which avoids all street noise but not air conditioning unit noise should you want to leave the window open. It's a 15 minute walk to the train station but 25 minutes to the old city center. However, bus service is plentiful. All in all, we would stay here again.

Ariosto for Families Residence

We stayed here as a family of four. Valerie’s place is perfect, right in the middle of the old town, near lots of restaurants and bars. Valerie’s place was great, plenty of space. Highly recommend!

Dream's Room [a stone's throw from Piazza Maggiore]

BlerinaRating, 5 stars2 days ago
We stayed in this home for 2 nights. The location is great and also quiet. The room is exactly like the pictures. The room was really easy to find, it was clean and close to many bars , restorants and a 5 min walk to the Piazza Maggiore. Salute to Oleg , our host :) We really had a great time in Bologna.

Jungle

We had a lovely stay at Alessia’s place and she left us a nice bottle of wine upon arrival. The place is in a great location to quickly and easily grab the bus to and from the train station, is only a 6 minute walk from the main piazza Maggiore, and has some great restaurant options within less than 5 minutes walk. She also provided a Dyson hair dryer which was unexpected but really nice to have. The drains in the bathroom were a little slow to drain and the shower doors don’t seal shut so you have to be careful while showering, but other than that, the place was well taken care of and very nicely designed/in great shape. Highly recommend if you’re looking for a cozy place to rest while in Bologna :) Thank you, again, Alessia!
