Guesthouse vacation rentals in Northeast Washington

it is probably smart to call the Club Wyndham to understand the unit that you are assigned. I booked a 1bdrm and was assigned a 2bdrm (which was actually two apartments, each with 1 bdrm, kitchen, bath and living room). I never used one of the units and would have shared with a friend if I understood the layout ahead of time. great location walking distance to the blue/yellow Metro line, only a couple of stops from National Airport.

By far, one of the best AirBnB flats we have stayed in. The building itself is unique, thoughtfully renovated and very safe and quiet. The bedding and sheets were of very high quality. We were thankful for the groceries provided. Communication was excellent. The garage serves as a sort of man cave and can be used for yoga and exercise. All appliances are modern. We didn’t have a chance to enjoy the spacious backyard but hope to next time. Super fast Internet and a huge TV with pro sound. There are plenty of food and beverage options nearby and a Whole Foods a short stroll away. Although H Street has a few rough patches you needn’t feel unsafe in the neighborhood. There’s a free streetcar service along H that takes you direct to Union Station.

The place was exactly like the pictures, the kitchen was fully equipped and the bed very comfortable. In total we stayed for a month and I have nothing bad to say throughout my stay. Both Brady and Jen were always very responsive and helpful. I would definitely recommend the place, whether you are visiting for business or pleasure.

Place is well located, close to metro station. You can easliy get from here to all main atracttions in Washington. Moreover, place has a perfect connection with Dulles Airport. Room and bathroom were clean, kitchen is well equipped. Host is nice person. It's good place to stay!

The place was perfect. It's really cool how they have landscaped - it feels like being in an oasis. We like private places, and this is it. Essentially, you have one large room upstairs, a bathroom downstairs, and we utilized the patio, a small kitchen, and a grill area as our combined kitchen and dining room. In fact, we liked the place so much we asked to stay another day and fortunately were able to. We will be back!

We had a great stay at this Airbnb in Rockville, MD! The location was fantastic—situated in a very walkable neighborhood with lots of shops nearby and three playgrounds within walking distance. It was ideal for both kids and adults alike. The home itself was spacious and comfortable, easily accommodating our family of five for a week. The layout provided plenty of room for everyone to relax and feel at home. As dog owners, we especially appreciated the ample space for our furry friends to run around. Although one of their dogs didn’t get along with ours, the hosts made it easy to restrict access, so it wasn’t an issue during our stay. Overall, this Airbnb offered a great combination of comfort, convenience, and family-friendly features. We’d happily stay here again!

I was in Jen's place for a month while working in the nearby Folger Shakespeare Library and had a fabulous stay. The location is absolutely amazing with very high walkability and easy connections to a host of things nearby: the Mall, Union Market, Eastern Market, H street cafes and restaurants. The space has been very thoughtfully arranged and well appointed. Jen was a communicative and positive host throughout. Would highly recommend.

These hosts are the best - kind, friendly without being intrusive, and always ready to help. The property is impeccably maintained and thoughtfully appointed - lovely decor, nice bed and cozy linens, and coffee, tea, and cooking supplies in the kitchen. We are retreat guests, and this was our first visit when the weather was nice enough to sit on the deck of the bedroom. Lovely! You will not regret a stay at the Little Wooded Casita.

Alma’s place was very clean, in fact, the cleaners were leaving whenever we arrived. The host communicated very well and we would stay again! We were not allowed early check in, but we were allowed to drop off our luggage early, which was very helpful. The area felt very safe and reasonably close to everywhere as described in description.

The guesthouse was super cute and cozy. Everything was very clean and organized. The location and neighborhood made me feel safe and comfortable so I liked that. Michele was also very helpful and responsive so that was very nice! There were also lots of restaurants around the area going from 4-10 minute drives! Overall I very much enjoyed my stay and would absolutely come back again!

This little house truly was enchanting—cozy yet surprisingly spacious, and absolutely perfect for our stay. It had every amenity we could have hoped for, and everything was spotless and thoughtfully maintained. The appliances were modern and efficient—from the powerful dual burner and the deep, generously sized sink, to the incredible DC inverter microwave and swivel-mounted TV. The bathroom felt like a luxurious spa, complete with lovely soaps and touches that made us feel pampered. We also adored the decor—artwork throughout the home sparked nostalgia and whimsy, giving the space a truly joyful and personal character. The hosts (and co-hosts!) were generous, kind, and welcoming. Their dogs were sweet and playful, and got along beautifully with our large dog—we only wish they had more time together to play! Alice's place was perfect for our weekend stay. Everything we needed was supplied and the furnishings were well kept. The location is easily walkable to downtown Silver Spring. Alice was very responsive and friendly!

My Wife and I stayed 2 nights here and we were very pleased! Very clean and private. It’s also walking distance to town, so we parked our car and were able to walk anywhere we went which we both enjoyed. Would stay again!

I enjoyed my stay at the beautiful carriage house in the Shaw neighborhood. It was a perfect spot to work from during the day — Wi-Fi was strong and there’s a cute little office nook. And it’s close to transit for exploring DC!Chris was a welcoming and friendly host, very responsive. A few things to note: the kitchen includes a dishwasher, stove, fridge, and microwave. However it’s not outfitted for cooking full meals. There’s also construction happening directly outside — in my experience, from the hours of ~8am-5pm, inclusive of Saturday. Overall, a wonderful stay!

We absolutely loved our stay at Mona’s Airbnb! She exceeded all of our expectations. The place was spotless, beautifully maintained, and even better than the pictures, they truly don’t do it justice. Mona was incredibly kind and her communication was clear and prompt throughout our stay, which made everything smooth and easy. If we ever come back to DC, we’ll definitely be staying here again. Highly recommend!

Christine was an outstanding host to me - and very responsive (and was very flexible). The air conditioning in my condo building is currently getting repaired. She permitted early check-in, which I really appreciated - and even gave me the opportunity for late checkout. The property has everything you need for an excellent stay - outstanding amenities (you pretty much not need anything when you stay here). I slept so well at their property. This property would be an excellent choice for those who wish to say long-term (like a month or more). You can tell that Christine cares about this property as it is maintained very well. The studio basement was perfect for a short stay—clean, comfortable, and exactly as described. Communication with the host was quick and easy. We really appreciated having a dedicated parking space. Just a heads-up: if you’re a light sleeper, consider bringing earplugs, as the space isn’t fully soundproof (the host was transparent about this in the listing). Overall, a good choice for a few days! 😀

We enjoyed the historic charm of the Carriage House and LOVED that we were on King Street within seconds. The parking garage was right down the alleyway - with a reasonable overnight rate. We were able to leave it there all weekend while we walked everywhere.

A wonderful studio unit above the garage in Capitol Hill. Super convenient to Eastern Market, the Metro station of the same name, and everything the Capitol Hill neighborhood has to offer. Private entrance, surprisingly quiet unit. Well staged with everything we needed, and Melinda was a friendly and accommodating host. PS - Since parking in Capitol Hill neighborhood is 2-hour max without a permit: there's a garage a block away on C St that is very easy and convenient. 5 stars. Would definitely stay here again next time we are in town.
