House vacation rentals in New Milford

Julie is an outstanding host! This house is perfect for any getaway. It was clean, spacious, well equipped, comfortable, and STUNNING outdoor area with a gorgeous pool. This is 3 FULL baths and 1/2 bath!! Two kitchens! Two family rooms! You had space! It made you want to relax! The kitchen was well stocked with any utensil or appliance you would need. It was private. You could really escape and get away. Woodbury and the surrounding towns were jampacked with things to do. There were many places to choose from to eat. Such a variety from steak, seafood, pizza, and American fare pubs and other specialty restaurants. Lots of variety/antique shops, flea market, wine/liquor stores, convenience stores. Just a short drive into Southbury you find more shops, antiques, restaurants, bigger, grocery store, etc. We also drove to a few other neighboring towns. All under 45 minutes. Friendly people! We had a wonderful time! Price is fabulous, house/outdoor area is A+ value! Thank you Julie!!

I absolutely enjoyed my weekend here. The home is beautiful. Everything you could possibly need was provided In the home. Everything was clean, and neat. House is filled with light. The pool and hot tub were enjoyable. The host were amazing and had great communication, assisted us when needed right away. I would highly recommend staying here, and they are pet friendly which is always a plus for me. The yard is fenced in. Which made it easy to let the dog out, and great for the dog to explore. A++++ Will probably be back sometime In the future.

My group loved our stay at Alan and Cara’s place for the Sheep & Wool festival. Great space for a large group; we especially loved how comfortable the living room couches were and how there was space for everyone there to gather. The place was immaculately clean. We’d love to come back again!

We had a great time at Natalia house, a very big house with a lot to do for my three years old daughter. Will definitely stay here again.

The pool house is so cute and the outdoor patio is gorgeous and the perfect place to relax. Great place to stay if you want to stay near New Haven but also want to enjoy quiet away from the city. Sue is a responsive and very generous host!

Great house and great host. The place was beautiful -- big kitchen, comfortable bedrooms, great bathrooms (especially in the master bedroom), nice setup outside (jacuzzi and BBQ), etc. Perfect place for a family weekend in Litchfield. Location was perfect -- a 2 minute drive to great coffee, pastries, bread, ice cream, etc. in Bantam. Liz was an excellent host -- very helpful and responsive. We'd love to visit again soon.

An amazing location when you want to get slightly off the grid for peace and tranquility. Everything you need to truly slow down, dial out and get peace, quiet and rest. An amazing spot for a weekend getaway. If you want to find yourself amongst serene surroundings and a quiet, private wooded area, this is the place. Just enough modern amenities to be comfortable, but just basic enough to make you slow down. Tanner the host was the most responsive and helpful host of any of the airbnbs we've ever stayed. Truly went above and beyond at every turn to make our stay as comfortable as possible. More than accommodating with every request.

We were all very happy with the check-in/check-out. Instructions were clear and host left helpful information. Beds were quite comfortable. More than enough space for all. Laundry room was a plus. Easy to access town & beach. Lovely place - quiet - clean. Would definitely book again.

Great place to stay for a relaxing weekend in the Hudson valley. Was extremely close to plenty of restaurants and things to see. I would definitely stay here again if I was coming back to the area.

This place was a breath of fresh air. I've noticed a trend on AirBNB of rentals that are obviously flipped investment properties with no character and no evidence of life: this place is the opposite! Charming, comfortable, with hosts who actually know the area and live in the area. This is a great family option when visiting the surrounding Hudson Valley towns. I hope I can get back here soon!

Our stay at Melanie’s place was wonderful! Honestly such a great stay with some really thoughtful touches. Melanie was communicative and responsive. We had brought our two dogs and Melanie made sure to put out a dog bowl and dog bed for them along with fresh flowers on the table! The place was also extremely clean, had comfy beds, was spacious and has a really nice back space looking onto a small creek and beautiful woods. The photos honestly don’t do it justice! The location was perfect for us as we had activities in Bear Mountain. Thanks so much, Melanie! Would love to stay again if we ever need to be in the area again.

Mahmoud was a wonderful host. Very responsive, pleasant, and helpful. His home and the views were spectacular, and the koi pond was beautiful. It’s a great location to stay while visiting West Point, as it’s a quick drive across the Bear Mountain Bridge. Our large group felt comfortable and welcomed. One of the bedroom descriptions could have been listed a little clearer because you need to pass through the master bedroom to get to it. Luckily our family was ok with that. We would stay again.

A lovely house in a private location. Our kids loved the games, watching movies on the projector, and watching deer from the window. The kitchen was well equipped and everything was comfortable.

What a fantastic place. Whitney was very welcoming and pours a lot of her special touches into a well designed home. As a family group of four adult women everything was comfortable and accommodating. The kitchen is well stocked for cooking, the beds comfy and good hot water for the showers. The area boasts some beautiful views. We would love to return.

This was our second time staying in this special house. Waking up in the cozy bed and feeling like you are sleeping in the beautiful woods with deer just outside the giant expansive windows is really something. The property and surroundings are gorgeous, private and serene. The house itself is perfect for our family. The bedding and linens are quality. The space is charming and magical.

The house and host were fantastic! We love to cook and found the kitchen to be nicely appointed. There was ample seating in the kitchen area which is where we spent most of our time. We had our entire family there for my son's high school graduation and there was plenty of space for the 7 of us.

Lawrence and Ilze are great hosts! They actually just live next to the house and they own a farm. We took our kid to visit their farms with lots of beautiful chickens and roosters. My son even has a chance to feed the chickens. We will definitely come back!

There were 5 of us, with another 6 staying in another nearby air bnb. We had Thanksgiving in our house and found everything we needed to cook. Seating was a bit challenging, but we made it work and it was very comfortable. The location is in the woods with lots of boulders and rocks, which we all loved. We found the place easily using GPS. Everyone’s bed was comfy. Close enough to what we wanted, just far enough away to make it an adventure. Because it was so cold and grey, we didn’t hike, but saw plenty of opportunities (maybe next time?!)

We were in town for a wedding weekend. So most of our activities revolved around that. The house was exactly what we needed. Plenty of room, clean and "all" the necessities to make it a relaxing weekend. We enjoyed the space that the home provided to relax, enjoy morning breakfast and coffee in the company of dear friends. Then enjoyed coming together as a group to recap the day's activities. It was so nice to all be together instead of separate hotel rooms. The home has tons of little areas to enjoy privacy and great common space to enjoy each other's company. Carol made certain that all conveniences were available.

We really enjoyed our stay at Amy's. The house was very clean upon arrival and looked just like the pictures shown in the listing. The neighborhood was peaceful and scenic as well. We'd definitely return!
