Wheeling home with a view away from everyone

It is a 200 year old 2 story house living room, dining room, kitchen, bath first floor, 2nd floor 3 bedrooms. Back porch off the 1st floor looks down over the hill. Quiet area with wildlife from rabbits, coyotes, and deer. Is a good place just to unwind. Lots of parking. You will have access to 110 acres if you like to walk around. We are very pet friendly. There are a few Great Pyrenees dogs who patrol the area to keep coyotes and other animals away from the houses. Not handicap accessible.

Stay close to everything in a historic 1889 second empire Victorian home with 14’ ceilings. The apartment is located on the left side of the first floor with a private entrance and lock code that changes for each guest. There is an outdoor grill area and back patio with seating to relax on listening to a seasonal fountain. Centre Market shops & restaurants are at the end of the block. Near Heritage Walking trail that’s along the Ohio river. Breakfast items and snacks usually on hand.

We love everything about our hillside home next to Grand Vue Park and enjoy how much our guest love it too. This space was designed with love and attention to detail. The extremely spacious suite with private entrance has a beautiful covered deck overlooking our hillside pasture and the wooded land behind us. An entire wall of windows offer perfect views. Many guest say the King size bed is most comfortable they have ever slept in . The bathroom is simply dreamy.

Renner Cabin- 2 bedrooms with hot tub & sauna

Beautifully placed cabin in wild & wonderful West Virginia. Secluded in a field with wild life at every corner! This cabin was gutted and remodeled over the past four years. We had a great stay at Deer Creek cabin! The location is so beautiful, and the views from both the front porch and back deck are outstanding. The fire pit area is a great place to relax, and the hot tub offers great views and is well maintained. There is so much to do nearby, you will not be struggling to find fun activities! We recommend Sugarcreek, Hershberger's, and Heini's Cheese chalet. You are very near to a Walmart, in case you've forgotten anything, and ample gas stations. BUT, when at the cabin, you are still out in the country so you can have your peace and quiet. We 100% recommend a stay here! Marcellus is great, he keeps in touch and responds quickly. We didn't have any problems, but if you ever need him, he is available. Thank you so much for everything!!

Chao communicated well and left some lights on for us knowing we would be in late. The kitchen was stocked with some food, which helped make our mornings enjoyable without having to run to the grocery store. We will stay again next time we visit Marietta.

Bradley was a great host everything he said matched up with what the cabin had, he was quick to respond and very reasonable to work with, his instructions for checking in and out are very clear and easy to follow, 10/10 would recommend him as a host again!!

We had a great time at Whitetail Retreat. Tucked away with peaceful vibes and a beatiful view, we were able to see some deer buckin on our way in one night. The host was very nice and responded quickly to any questions we had. The host has every staple you could need stocked and even accommodates for children. The fresh eggs were delicious. Whitetail Retreat will be our "go to" when visiting the area again.

Our stay was short, but we had a very pleasant time. The space is spacious and the house is perfect for large groups. The only detail worth mentioning is that the deck was not clean—it had a lot of dust and dry leaves. I brought this to the attention of Trish, one of the co-hosts, and she kindly provided a blower so we could clean it ourselves. Unfortunately, the blower didn’t work properly. Even after charging the battery, it would lose power within minutes, so the area couldn't be cleaned as we had hoped for our gathering. (Weeks in advance, we had informed the hosts that we would be celebrating my daughter’s graduation there.) That said, Trish was very thoughtful and provided two lovely patio chairs, knowing the nature of our event. Overall, we were satisfied with the accommodations 😊.

The cabin is so cute and cozy! Everything was clean and tidy. There were plenty of linens for the hot tub and shower. It was very private and serene. The hot tub on the back porch was so relaxing, and easy to use. It was very close to the lake and area attractions.
