Kid-friendly vacation rentals in Mount Joy Township

The perfect house for a long weekend with friends. We very comfortably fit six adults and five kids (ages 5, 4, 2, 1 and 1). So well equipped for families with a crib in the master bedroom and tons of toys and games. Lots of places to hang out from the beautiful screened in porch to the open layout upstairs and game room downstairs. The location is incredible… a front yard full of horses (you’re living amongst the farms) and a very short drive to the activities we chose. Highly recommend checking out Cherry Crest Farm, Strasbourg train and Dutch Wonderland. Across the street from the house is an Amish stand with fresh baked goods and strawberries. For food, Lancaster Brewing co was fantastic as well as Speckled Hen. Can’t wait to come back!

The Cottage on Main is close to everything we visit the New Holland area for. Shadey is only 2 mins away for great donuts in the morning, so that's a bonus. We enjoyed another great stay at the Cottage on Main and will be back again. Thank you.

I would highly recommend this house and host! The house was had plenty of room in all the right places for our group of 5 adults. The home was very clean and well-stocked with the necessities. The kitchen had everything needed to cook a full meal. The bedrooms were clean and comfortable. We got a nice view of a little stream at the back of the property with ducks floating by! The location was great for us, close to Allentown and restaurants and shopping. The host was very responsive and even went above and beyond to help us to retrieve a cell phone that had been left behind.

My sister and I had an amazing stay, and Linda is just an incredible host. She is kind, welcoming, very very responsive, and made the check in and check out process easy! Truly could not have asked for a better place to stay for our extended trip. Can’t wait to come back!

Hannah's place was wonderful for our family, as we had a graduation to attend nearby. The neighborhood was very quiet and while there was limited parking in front of the rental, it was an easy walk to alternative parking. Everything was very clean inside and while we like old historic buildings, Hannah had done a great job of incorporating new to make it as comfortable as possible. An added benefit is the outside courtyard, which was perfect for a small family gathering. Would definitely recommend this place to anyone traveling in or around the Harrisburg area!

Debbie is a wonderful host! She never hesitated to ask if we needed anything and even let us borrow some cooking oil. The directions were clear and her place is well-stocked. This is a great place for kids—no shortage of things to do! My friends and I had a wonderful time. Thank you for the kindness and hospitality!

Our stay was great! The space was private and comfortable. We reached out to Sonia for a tour of the farm and her and her family happily showed us around! The scenery was beautiful. We hope to come back one day!

It was very easy to check in and get to the apartment. We were greeted by 2 bottles of wine and 2 Hershey bars, which was very nice. Many restaurants within walking distance that were absolutely delicious. And the Hershey museum right across the street for something To do. Nice space with everything you need.

Staying with Barbara was an experience that felt less like being at an Air BNB and more like staying with a friend. She is an incredibly kind and thoughtful person who went above and beyond to make our stay special. This has been our favorite stay by far and we will absolutely be staying with Barbara again if we’re ever in the area.

The space was neat and clean. The host gave great instructions to make arriving and checking in a breeze. I would stay here again, especially for a longer trip!

The Bumble Bee is an adorable home tucked away in the middle of downtown New Castle, DE. It has all the charm & comfort you would hope for in an old town with updated modern conveniences.

My husband and I needed a place to stay long term while we were in the process of looking for a new home to purchase. This apartment was very close to both of our works so I messaged about availability. Susan was very communicative and always responded to me quickly. She was super nice and accommodating. As the write up says, it is on a busy street where the traffic does not stop. So just make sure you are aware of that. We have night masks with speakers in them so we were ok:-) The kitchen has everything you would need and the bed was very comfy. We were very lucky to find this place.

It’s the second visit to Abby’s place and did not disappoint again, Abby was amazing as due to personal reasons I had to change the trip dates last minute from January to may and she was very understanding and accommodating. Her house is beautiful and has everything that you need close by will certainly be coming back again

My family and I had an amazing stay at Missy's place! The house was spotlessly clean, the amenities were excellent, and Missy was a wonderful host. The location was perfect! I would highly recommend this place to anyone.

I really enjoyed my stay at Ginni’s. The decor was very relaxing. The shower had great water pressure which is always a plus. The walls are a little thin but it was quiet in the evenings and not disruptive. The neighborhood was nice and everyone was friendly. There was lots of greenery and trees and a creek nearby. I really enjoyed walks with my dog.

We really enjoyed our stay at Kitty’s Place. The apartment is absolutely perfect and the hosts provided amazing hospitality. Beautifully appointed with everything that we needed and more, Travis, Gabrielle, and Kitty allowed us to enjoy our celebration of our daughter’s graduation from UD, creating memories to last a lifetime. The apartment was clean, cute, close to everything, and a peaceful place to relax between events. A terrific place for anyone visiting the area with gracious hosts who want nothing more than to ensure your comfort and happiness. A real gem!

We absolutely loved our stay here. Evan has created a truly unique and inviting space while preserving the original character of the home. He was incredibly responsive, and everything was exactly as described. It was the perfect location for a weekend in the city.
