Vacation rentals with a patio in McCreary County

This is the second time I’ve stayed here, and I’m sure we will be back. The patio is a great place to sit and enjoy the outdoors. The location is within walking distance of great restaurants. The two bedrooms are the perfect size for our family. Ginger was great at providing directions and instructions on how to check in and out.

Diane is a wonderful person and a wonderful host!! I would absolutely stay with her again. Her space had plenty of amenities, a beautiful back porch and backyard, she was friendly and was able to give me a wonderful hiking recommendation, the location was close to grocery stores, the hospital, and hiking locations, and the area was just enchanting. 10/10!

Cassandra was a very responsive host that answered many questions before I even had to ask them. The place was very clean and had a friendly/cozy feeling. Whenever I am back in the area, ill definitely be visiting this location again.

These accommodations were just what we were hoping for! Our stay was very comfortable and was located in a quiet neighborhood. We had privacy and everything that we needed to make our stay an excellent one! Sitting on the deck and watching the sunset was an extra and unexpected treat! It is obvious that the host has thought of everything to make her guests comfortable and welcome! I would recommend this Airbnb to anyone. It was an added bonus that it is less than 2 miles from the local marina on Lake Cumberland. We were so pleased with our choice!

Christopher’s place at Woodson Bend Resort provided all that was necessary for a wonderful family stay the first week of August. The weather was beautiful and so we enjoyed the comfortable and well-appointed back porch; the walks to the pool; the dry-accommodating and nicely-decorated living spaces; and, the closeness in proximity to the pickleball courts. After our days on the boat, we were grateful for the ample kitchen space, cookware, utensils, and kitchen linens to enjoy family meals around the table! The location of this unit is excellent - easy to reach the Pro Shop, pool, restaurant, playground, volleyball court and pickleball courts. We did not use the outdoor fire pit, but noticed the stock of wood and great arrangement of outdoor chairs that would make this a very lovely space to enjoy. Would highly recommend Christopher’s place in Woodson Bend!

I am originally from Oneida and every time I come to visit I stay at Safe Haven if available. It is a very clean, comfortable and peaceful place that is only a few short minutes from downtown Oneida. Charles has always been a wonderful and very responsive host.

I would give Tammy 1,000 stars out of 5 if I could!! If my next Airbnb stay is half as good as this one then I will still be satisfied. The apartment was fully stocked with absolutely everything that anyone could possibly need to live. Every little thing from the cozy bed sheets to the bathroom fixtures was immaculate and set up for a king and/or queen! It was literally a paradise in the middle of Corbin. You walk out the door and your parking spot is maybe 5 steps away, while the entrance to the coffee shop and bakery was literally right across the street. Plenty of good bars and restaurants all within a 2-5 minute walk. All in all, I felt like I was living in a dream for the entire stay. The price was very reasonable, especially considering the location and all of the fine amenities. Thank you so much Tammy and look forward to booking again in the future!

Trevor was a wonderful host and his home was absolutely fantastic! He was always easy to reach, quick to respond, and was super nice and helpful. This property is perfect for a lake stay: 10 minutes to Burnside Island to launch a boat, a huge driveway with ample room for multiple cars and a boat, very friendly neighborhood, plenty to do inside if it’s rainy, and tons of outdoor space! We had a large group of ten adults for a lake weekend and everyone had plenty of room to spread out and have their own space and bedrooms. All of the beds were very comfortable. The gathering spaces both inside and outside were large enough for us to play pool, sit by a fire, eat dinner, or just relax together. This is an annual lake trip and we will definitely be looking to see if this is available next year to stay again! Thank you for being such a great host, Trevor!

We really enjoyed our stay at this lake house. We loved being able to use the dock for our boat and fishing. The home was clean and had everything we needed. We enjoyed sitting on the back deck and watching the boats go by. We Will definitely stay again.

Nice setup for a family. It has a great screened in porch and fenced in backyard. the driveway is a nice size, easily accommodating multiple cars, even a flatbed trailer.

The place was really clean, quiet peaceful, me and my family had a really great time.

This trip was wonderful. Walking distance to the boat ramp we really enjoyed being able to leave the truck and boat trailer at the house and not parking it at the ramp. There was always a local at the ramp in a side by side offering to drive you to your truck to get your boat trailer. That was AWESOME. On that note, LOTS of space to park at the house. Flat parking, no big inclines that make you scrape your trailer or boat motor pulling in and out of the driveway. The house is HUGE tons of space can accommodate several families if you had a lot of people. We saw deer out the screened-in porch. I LOVED sitting out there in the morning drinking coffee and at night watching fire flies. This house is very easy to get to. The neighbors are good people looking out for the neighborhood I felt very safe walking the dogs in the morning and at night. We really enjoyed ourselves and look forward to coming again.

This is a great place to stay. We were in town for graduation at the University of the Cumberlands and enjoyed being able to stay here as a family instead of a hotel. The house is spacious, very clean, and has a large kitchen perfect for family time as well as a comfortable family room with plenty of seating. We will plan to stay here again anytime we come to town.

Woodson Bend is always a great place to be. We love the pool, ability to put your own boat in the water at the resort, the golf and the golf cart community. Debbie’s place is clean, well stocked and as it is shown in the pictures and description.

This was a lovely quick getaway overlooking the lake It was wonderful to sit out on the patio.

This is the second time we have stayed. Enjoyed catching the big fish, grilling out, making a fire for some night fishing. And just relaxing. Karen and her husband are amazing hosts. Always responsive and are very helpful 🙂 I would definitely recommend staying here. We will be back !😊

It was such a great little spot. The directions are not accurate using Airbnb. We called Elizabeth and she helped us. It's just so nice and convenient to boat.

I enjoyed my stay at Woodson Bend and Shannon was a very helpful hostess! Pros -Scenic setting, great for evening walks -Quiet neighbors -Access to resort amenities: pool, golf course, pickleball, basketball and tennis courts, bocce ball field, playgrounds, picnic areas, restaurants (seasonal) -Very responsive hostess who went above and beyond for me when I locked my keys in my car -24 hour gated security -Furniture & beds are comfortable -Plenty of new, fresh-smelling linens are provided -the unit is updated and uncluttered -Excellent wifi strength Cons -No washer/dryer in unit, so bring quarters if you plan to do laundry. The machines in the on site laundry are older but worked well enough. -This unit backs up closely to a nearby condo so be prepared to consider your neighbors -No ice maker in unit. Trays are provided & ice can be purchased onsite. -No coffee pot. There is a Keurig. -Verizon cell service is spotty when exploring the grounds. No issues within the unit
