House vacation rentals in Mariposa County

Very cozy beautiful house, great for small or big family. The views and surrounding are spectacular. It’s about 45mins to an hour drive to yosemite but everything is worth it, we spend the rest of our day in this house to relax and kids had so much fun with the pool outside and bonfire. I will highly recommend it to everyone who wants to be away from the crowd. 10/10 💯

We had a wonderful week of driving into Yosemite & this house in PML was a comfortable and cozy place to come back to each day. We were traveling with a teenager, a preschooler & a toddler, and there were many helpful amenities such as toys, a crib & even a puddle jumper for the lake. Jeff & Gina are wonderful hosts and were responsible and helpful from booking to check out. A few things were different from the photos - for example, the twin beds in the loft did not have a light as pictured (which was tricky for our 3 year old), and only one was curtained. However the bedrooms are cute, and the kitchen is stocked with things you need to enjoy meals from the lovely deck. We did not have a great experience with the gate staff at PML, but this is no fault of the hosts. Just a heads up to future guests that they didn’t seem the most friendly to non-residents. There was also some major road construction happening and they would often take 10-15 to let cars pass - so plan accordingly

We had an amazing stay in this lovely home. The entire home was spotless, the running water was warm, and the property was peaceful. Would definitely recommend for anyone looking to get away.

Chris and Jim were the perfect hosts. The home was fully stocked with yummy Treats and wine waiting for us when we arrived. Pool and hot tub were great. Loved the peacefulness and the visits from the deers and birds.

Awesome house out side of Oakhurst! Plenty of room for our whole group! Plenty of beds! Nice bathrooms! Great little apartment style 1 bedroom on one end. Lots of parking! We had 4 different vehicles and a horse trailer. Wi-Fi not great at all but kept the kids off their phones. A crockpot would be nice for cold days. Very well maintained inside and out. We would definitely stay again and recommend to anyone looking for an inexpensive place to stay. Great value for what you pay. Stop thinking about it, just book it!!

Really nice place—private, peaceful, and exactly as described. About an hour from Yosemite, which made it a great base for our trip. The space was clean and well-equipped, and the host was responsive and helpful. Would definitely recommend!

The home was a perfect setup for our family of 8 adults and eight children. We were concerned being there in the middle of May that the pool would be too cold, however it was warm enough for the kids to enjoy it everyday we were there. The location was great for a day visit to Yosemite and other local adventures. Family time was the goal and the property was great for that.

This is our second time staying at Tanya's airbnb and the location can't be beat! You can walk right down to the lake's beach (the marina) which is so convenient since parking is extremely limited. We loved using the boats (kayak, canoe, and paddle boat) & hanging out on the deck was so peaceful. Tanya was very quick to respond when we had questions which we really appreciated. The house had everything we needed and we can't wait to return.

Our stay at the Fox and The Bear was absolutely wonderful! After long days of hiking, coming back home to a spacious, comfortable home was really nice. We loved the hot tub and chairs on the back deck. The views were amazing. There were instructions for every piece of the home so you didn’t have to wonder about anything. Short drive to Oakhurst proper for grocery stores and restaurants. A very good choice for Yosemite visits. Would definitely return for vacations in this area.

Yelena is a great host! She was great about communicating with us with any questions that we had and very helpful with any changes we needed to make. She checked in with us to make sure everything was as good. We enjoy staying here at the Playhouse. The house is big and spacious. The view was amazing!

Pihong’s place was perfect for our stay!

We are a group of seven which included us and our twenty something daughters and a couple of significant others. We loved how comfortable this place was after a long day of hiking and exploring Yosemite. The house was the best stocked air bnb we have been to. We grilled together and ate most meals in and made picnic lunches to take into the park. The “kids” LOVED the game room, hot tub, and recliner seats in the main room. The beds were really comfy and the house is well positioned between Oakhurst and Yosemite! Instructions all around the house so we were able to figure things out quickly and easily. Loved the big kitchen table for meals and felt it was just the perfect choice for our family to spend 4 nights enjoying springtime in Yosemite!! Highly recommend the 4 mile trail hike from Glacier point. Part of our group did a one way tour ticket to the top and then hiked down. Two of us did the reverse and two brave souls hiked up and down! Beautiful views make the switchbacks worth it!

Only stayed for one night—wish we could have stayed longer! The house had everything we needed: comfy beds, plenty of beds, grill, big kitchen (clean cups, plates, utensils, pans, etc.) , games, lots of outdoor seating, and an area for kids to play. The rooms and the bathrooms were pristine. Fellipe communicated the day before letting us know we could check-in earlier. Very sweet host and communicative. If I’m ever in the area, I would definitely stay here again.

Christina was very helpful throughout the booking process and check in. The location was as described and was easy to navigate to. Lots of fun stuff to do in the spare room and a full kitchen to work with was a huge plus. We would definitely stay here agian! Thank You

Christopher's property is well-maintained with everything needed for cooking meals at home. We appreciated the coffee, cream & sugar to get our early mornings started. The home is 40 minutes from Yosemite's south entrance and only 7 minutes from Bass lake as described. The beds were comfortable and the patio was so peaceful after a busy day in the park. Christopher, thank you for the love and care you put into your place, we hope its available when we return to the area!!

Sandy house was a great stop on our way to Yosemite, i would recommend staying. *Sandys house is 45 mins to an hour to Yosemite but an additional hour to get to glacier point and Yosemite Valley- for planning purposes

Our stay in this lovely and comfortable apartment in Yosemite was wonderful. It's very well-equipped, very comfortable for a couple, and also very clean. We found that the owner's kitchen has everything for cooking and baking any type of food and has various spices for seasoning chickens, meats, etc. We also didn't have to buy basics like dish soap, paper towels, garbage bags, etc. He also has a complete guidebook with good information for your stay and beautiful places to visit. The owner is very friendly; he lives downstairs and is available for any guide. Excellent Wi-Fi, a TV in the living room, and the balcony has a grill and a beautiful view of the forest. If you're looking for a few days of peace, tranquility, and unforgettable scenery, this is the place to go on vacation!

We were fortunate to find Cabernet's house at the last min while looking for a place to ring in 2025. Nestled at the top of the perimeter of the Yosemite valley in Oakhurst, the house is a rare find. The weather was beautiful, we got to breath refreshing fresh air and got to enjoy all the amenities at the place. Things we enjoyed. <> Wood burning indoor fireplace. The house was nice and toasty. Perfect for end of Dec/Jan temperatures. <> Large fenced yard for our fur babies. I must say this was the highlight of the trip as it's not easy to find properties that have a completely fenced backyard. Our two husky girls sure enjoyed running around a clean grassy hard. Thank you or WOOF WOOF ! <> Beautiful furniture, clean carpets, well stocked kitchens with a lots of pots and pans to cook. <> Cabernet is super responsive. Very happy about this since a host that communicates well makes the entire experience special ! Thanks Cabernet. Looking forward to visiting again !

We had a wonderful stay at Nathalie’s Airbnb. She was responsive, very helpful and friendly, and the place was cozy and comfy. We felt right at home!
