Kid-friendly vacation rentals in Mar Vista, Los Angeles

AMAZING! AMAZING! Did I mention it was amazing? I just can’t say enough about my visit. I have had a slew of not so good Air BNB’s as of late. Ones that didn’t match descriptions, no basics like coffee, laundry but being your own tide pods, and like a 5 page checkout….NOT here…it was perfect. Coffee, creamer, great bed, beautiful bathroom and that was the fanciest potty I have ever used….thank you Tori! I am super bummed my work won’t be bringing me back but if I come to visit on my own you’ll be hearing from me again. Thank you so much for renewing my faith in good air bnb’s!

We stayed here with my two daughters who were thrilled by all the art supplies, toys, games, swing, and an actual creek in the back. A wonderful kid-friendly but also tasteful and artful home. Thank you for sharing it.

We stayed for 3 nights at Isely’s place. The house was very cozy. 3 decent size bedrooms and 2 full bathrooms. The beds were comfortable and we had a very restful sleep. The kitchen was fully equipped. The Bathrooms were very clean. The backyard/patio was a nice place to gather with family. Location is very quiet and accessible to major freeway. There are many restaurants around the area. Our schedule was hectic and by the end of the day we were very tired, but coming home to Isely’s house, we are able to relax, enjoy a good meal with the family and unwind at the patio, have a good shower and sleep comfortably. Feeling energized for the next day. We are already planning for our next stay.

Laura’s place was amazing for our week long stay! Close to so much (including Trader Joe’s)!! The place had literally everything we could think of! It was so well stocked and clean. We loved the backyard area too! Would highly recommend!

Cynthia's house is a beautiful home in a great area! Very walkable. Her home is just as listed. We had a slight glitch with the code checking in but Ryan and Cynthia were immediately responding to help resolve. Great space for a family and for cooking meals and relaxing in the beautiful patio. I highly recommend her place. We look forward to renting again next time we visit. Great hosts! Thank you!

Great place.

The house is so close to lax airport and was very close to my aunts house. Soooooo many amenities in the house! Pool was refreshing, lots of comfortable patio furniture, comfortable beds, lots of games, books, many movies. Maria was so prompt to answer questions (thank you so much)!! Would stay here again without a doubt!! ❤️

Lisa was kind and very accommodating. The location is about a 2 min walk from the beach. Right next to the hotel, Shutters. It was a quiet place to stay considering the amount of hotels and restaurants around. Spacious studio. It was great having the washer and dryer. They even had bikes available for use.

This place is amazing. Greate kitchen and clean bathroom. Its in a peaceful neighborhood but centrally located. Having a covered parking spot is a very nice plus. Would definitely stay here again.

The place was great, really quiet and serene. The place surrounding is a little hilly, but you will have a great time relaxing.

Lovely apartment. Beds and oversized sofa are all super comfortable. Convenient lower level garage parking and elevator to top floor unit. Close (by car) to UCLA and Santa Monica beach.

Claudia is very quick at communication. Her place is more than what we expected. Clear instructions on check-in. The best place for any short-term or long-term.

Everything about this place was perfect the host was very helpful the place was excellent parking was easy to understand would definitely be back and recommend others to book

Mieko was a really responsive and kind host that answered any questions I had promptly and thoroughly. The Airbnb was as described with lots of amenities and there was always plenty of parking on the street. The location was close to lots of restaurants and shops (an Aldi for any grocery needs literally right next door within walking distance) which was great, but also unfortunately had the caveat of loud street noise at night. We felt very safe in the area though and overall had a great stay.

The apartment is located right in the middle of DTLA, with most major sights within a 20-minute walk. While parts of Broadway and some sections east of it are a bit sketchy, the building itself checks the identity of everyone entering and feels very safe. Parking is in a garage across the street, which also feels safe. The apartment is spacious, with tall ceilings and lots of light. The bedroom isn't fully separate (only a half wall) so it gets light and noise from the main area in the mornings (eye mask and earplugs will be good for the person who sleeps later). The kitchen area is modern, with good counter space and appliances. Giselle and Ali were excellent hosts, very responsive and helpful. They provided lots of local tips and quickly addressed any questions or minor issues.

We had such a wonderful stay in downtown LA. The apartment was spacious with high ceilings, and the kitchen had everything I needed to cook breakfast each morning. It was clean, beautifully designed, and felt so cozy, especially with the antique lamp casting a warm glow at night. I loved how the city lights reflected into the living room and made the evenings feel magical. The rooftop pool and hot tub had amazing views, and we met some great people there. The building felt very safe with on-site security, which we really appreciated. Ali was a fantastic host. He was super responsive and full of great recommendations. My husband, his cousin, and I all loved it and would definitely stay again.

This was my second stay in one of their units. Clean, well equipped, and has character! I enjoyed the Hollywood glam theme of this apartment. Terrific location for visiting my daughter at college and for enjoying the fantastic restaurants in the Arts District. Thanks again!

My Fiance and I came out here to celebrate their birthday, along with few of our friends. The airbnb had so much to offer. I loved how everything around us was close by. You could literally take a 5 minute walk to coffee shops, restaurants, and bars. In addition, our host Christian was always attentive and polite. Whenever we had a question about anything, his speedy response was always appreciated. I will definitely be coming back, so I can enjoy more of the airbnb and it's surroundings. Nicole's place is such a cool spot. Really spacious with an art deco vibe and it is just like it looks in the pictures. It was the ideal spot for exploring Venice Beach, being a one minute walk from the beach front. We had so much fun hanging out on the big balcony and playing pool in the games room. Very quiet area with no real negatives I can think of. Would highly recommend for groups who want a chill vibe with a great space for spending time together.

The property was very beautiful in a walkable neighborhood of Manhattan Beach, close to almost anything you could think of. When we arrived the place was definitely cleaned and ready to go. MB is one of my favorite places so to have found this last minute only a min or so walk from the beach was awesome! Check in was breezy and we seemed to have our own privacy which was key! This was a mother-son trip .I will give it to them the property is clean and in a perfect area. Upon check in the replies were a bit impersonal. Didnt really get the welcome to MB from the host i have experienced with past airbnbs. Got a “yea we have basics” reply to my question about pots and pans and although this didnt affect the stay in any way there was a moment or 2 i was second guessing the vibe, when the host did reply it was short and concise(to the point) Also it definitely gets a bit hot inside, and the AC could have been more efficient but what do u expect in LA😎☀️🕶️ We would live here its great

We had a great time at Mo's place . It was exactly as advertised , very clean and had pretty much everything we needed for our trip with our toddler. Very close to Venice beach and in a quiet homely neighborhood. Mo was a great host , very responsive and accomodating .
