The house was exactly what this weary traveler needed. Great bed and Spectacular Shower Pressure made for an extra comfortable stay. The snacks and morning coffee you provided were very much appreciated. Don’t be scared off by location of train tracks. Once inside it’s a peaceful home away from home. Bravo 5 Stars.

We stayed at Christy’s place in Ottawa, KS, for our daughter’s college graduation and absolutely loved it! The house was fantastic; clean, comfortable, and thoughtfully set up for guests. One of the highlights was the beautiful park right across the street, which was perfect for the kids to play at and burn off some energy. The backyard was great too, especially for hosting a BBQ with family. Christy was incredibly responsive and welcoming. She even had delicious scones waiting for us when we arrived; such a sweet and thoughtful touch! We truly enjoyed our stay and would absolutely book again. Highly recommend!

We had a blast the house was clean and organized, especially the kitchen since the cabinets were labelled.

Stayed at KC’s place while in town to catch a Royals game. Space was super cozy and comfortable, and KC was very helpful. Walkable to Kauffman which was awesome. Would definitely recommend for those in town to catch a Chiefs or Royals game

Adam is an excellent host. He was immediately available whenever I had questions. Note that the laundry is in a basement with a separate entrance that’s not attached the house but otherwise the place is great!

Emma and Chin’s place was great just what we were looking for. We enjoyed visiting our friends in Leavenworth and the Airbnb made the experience even better. Their home is so cute and comfortable perfect for our family! They were so accommodating and responsive to any issue that came up. So many thoughtful details and touches. I am definitely going to stay here again when I come back to Leavenworth!

This is the second time I have stayed at Yellow Door, and just like the first time it did not disappoint. The hosts are friendly and easy to communicate with, they make everything easy from check in to check out. The house was prefect for our weekend stay and convenient for downtown dining and other activities. We are very pleased with all the house amenities, it was clean and tidy. Definitely a great place for a weekend stay.

My wedding party stayed here the night before our Weston wedding and it was absolutely perfect. Melissa was so accommodating and allowed us to check out late so that we could get ready there. The space is so cute and looks exactly like it does in pictures.

We enjoyed our 6-night stay at Tammy’s BnB in Basehor. The upstairs home and bakery were lovely and homey. The location was ideal for visiting KU and KC, and the baked goods were delicious. We tried their cinnamon rolls, cookies, blackberry bread and Saturday morning biscuits and gravy - all are highly recommended! Thanks again, Tammy and Annie!

This property worked very well for our family. We had 11 people stay here and we had plenty of room. We had a great time with the fire pit and the kids really enjoyed the yard games. We were able to use Marietta’s grill to have a nice cook out. We really enjoyed watching the Olympics together as a family in living room TV area. We really appreciated the breakfast foods provided for us which included bagels, English muffins, cinnamon bread and all kinds of fruit. Very nice! Great family experience and memories!

This is an old two-story warehouse/retail space in the industrial area of Armourdale. It's been filled with interesting items by an interior decorator. Nothing of interest is walkable, but you are centrally located for much of the city without congestion. Lots of daytime industrial noise, but very quiet at night other than freight train whistles. We stayed in the lower unit. Fresh flowers on arrival. Outdoor fire pit is lovely but lacks privacy. If you have a car and want an interesting alternative to other more congested areas, this is a fun spot. Bed is comfortable but...very squeaky. Bathroom is great but hot water is depleted quickly, so make it a quick shower or shallow bath. Host helpful and responsive. Suggestions: a printed guide (or larger digital one) with more info (how to access BBQ utensils, trash details, etc.) would be helpful. Unit has laundry hookups but no washer/dryer--that would be a nice addition for those staying longer than a weekend.

I have stayed in Kim's apartments several times. I have always enjoyed. Only suggestion, put a brighter lightbulb l above the door that goes into the apartment. We checked in after dark, and it was extremely hard to read the numbers on the keypad. Other than that, it was a very good experience.

This may be our final time staying here, our son just graduated from KU! We have stayed numerous times with Erich and Amy while he was in college in Lawrence. Loved the comfortable accommodations, reasonable prices, friendly and helpful hosts, and the willingness to work with us when we needed a little flexibility! Thanks again!

I had a wonderful experience from start to finish. A beautiful house and loved the way the sunflower room was set up. The bed was extremely comfortable! I would definitely stay here again. My host Sharon was very nice and served a delicious breakfast. The house was spotless and well maintained.

Fantastic and comfortable stay at Cat's place! The house is absolutely charming. I really appreciated all the nice touches to make me comfortable (coffee station upstairs, bathrobe and spare toiletries, extra cozy blankets). Cat is exceptionally friendly and kind. She made a fantastic breakfast of homemade oatmeal that was perfect for venturing out into the cold day! Thanks for a great stay!

It takes a special person to invite strangers into your home and make them feel right at home! I was grateful for the hospitality and warmth of the place and our host! It is a simple and peaceful place to stay and not too far from the city too! Breakfast that is served is delicious. We enjoyed sitting on the back porch with coffee and granola in the morning light! Would highly recommend!
