Vacation rentals with a kayak in Lay Lake

Scott is a great communicator. Super friendly and responsive. He provided information for everything we needed to know and his instructions were very clear. I didn't have to ask any questions the whole stay. The house and deck looks as beautiful in person as it does in the photos. My party loved grilling, eating, and playing cornhole on the deck. If I was to revisit the area, I would undoubtedly book here again.

The home was perfect for our yearly spring fishing trip having a boat launch in the back yard and dock. We come to Logan Martin every year in April and have stayed with several other host but this place "location wise" was probably the best. Was hoping to be able to use the dock slips but they had boats in them. Also the thermostat kept changing to 80 degrees. We would leave for a couple hours fishing and come back and inside the home was hot. Other than that everything was great. Would stay again.

Words cannot fully capture the warm feeling I experienced when I opened the door to Miss Roxanne's home and life. Roxanne is an artist whose art adorns the walls, creating a fabulous atmosphere. The house is well-furnished, with comfortable beds and lovely bed linens. The kitchen is well-stocked, making cooking and enjoying family meals easy. The location is beautiful and peaceful, with the lake steps away. One of the highlights of my stay was meeting Miss Roxanne and Mr.Tom, who lives next door. They are so kind and have great stories about the history of the area and their homes. The pictures do not do the home justice; it's much nicer!

Had a wonderful stay!

We had a great stay. The location was beautiful, and everyone in my group thoroughly enjoyed the game room in the garage. Everything was clean and as described. It was conveniently located 25 minutes from Talladega, which was so easy. We would definitely return.

We loved our stay & Paula’s home. We felt right at home. Paula was phenomenal at communicating as well as making us feel at home. I highly recommend. Will definitely stay here again on our next trip down.

I can’t say enough about the responsiveness from Paige. She went above and beyond to accommodate our needs. Everything was pristine and just steps away from the water! Relax on the most comfortable front porch, overlooking the lake and have a glass of wine as you watch the sunset or sip your coffee and watch the sunrise! It’s just a great place to kick back and relax. (There’s also plenty of parking!)

I’ve never stayed in a place that was as peaceful as the lake house. The location is beautiful and there is absolutely no road noise! It was very relaxing sitting both on the dock and in the house looking out at the lake. It was easy to get to restaurants and shopping. The neighborhood is very walkable if you want to get in a little exercise. I really enjoyed my stay and plan on coming back again when the weather is warmer.

Our time visiting the cottage was a great experience. The hosts left detailed instructions everywhere that were helpful and kept us mindful throughout our stay. The lake view directly from the backyard was a joy to see each day and my husband loved being on to get his boat right on the water at a very close baiting ramp but could park his boat after fishing at the house boat dock. Great bbq places nearby as well. Over all a great place to take your family and friends for a quiet getaway.

This was the second time I had stayed here and I love the place . It’s close to where I am working and is quiet.

The cottage was lovely! It had everything you could think of and Dayna and Joe were very responsive. Highly recommend if you’re looking for a peaceful getaway!

Roxanne was an amazing host! Would highly recommend this place. There was a slight water emergency and it was handled efficiently and fast. Place had amazing views and comfy beds. Hot tub was wonderful after coming off the lake.

We highly recommend this place. Very private and relaxing setting. Very clean and renovated with perfectly curated decor and finishes. Dog friendly like no other places we stayed at. Perfect AC temp on arrival. Great access to the lake. Caught bass and crappies of the dock. The owner communicated well with us at all times. We’ll be back for sure!!

Walter’s heaven was absolutely beautiful. The view from the master bedroom was incredible. Wade, the groundskeeper was very nice and even had fish bait waiting for when we arrived. What I hadn’t seen mentioned in the reviews is how great of a swimming spot they have for children. We will be back!

Our family enjoyed our week at the lake. This is a great place to rest and relax!!l
