Vacation rentals with a fire pit in Lay Lake

The home was perfect for our yearly spring fishing trip having a boat launch in the back yard and dock. We come to Logan Martin every year in April and have stayed with several other host but this place "location wise" was probably the best. Was hoping to be able to use the dock slips but they had boats in them. Also the thermostat kept changing to 80 degrees. We would leave for a couple hours fishing and come back and inside the home was hot. Other than that everything was great. Would stay again.

This is a lovely, well maintained lake home on our favorite lake! We enjoyed the comfortable clean house and fabulous outdoor access to the lake and lake views.

The host was very friendly and accommodating. The house was very clean and beautiful. The host supplied so many extra things like board games, towels, toiletries , trash bags, and more which was so nice . The fire place on the back porch was my favorite for the cool mornings . We have already booked another trip for June of this year and we cant wait ….

I've stayed at a lot of vacation rentals and this one was the best stocked and the best for entertaining of all the places I've stayed. We in town for a competition. My son wanted us to rent this house because it looked like it would be a great option for hosting his teammates and friends while we were in Alabama. He was so right! We had visitors stop by four of the five nights we were there, including one night where we hosted the entire team. (Note: I asked and received permission for the 10+ families to have dinner there and volunteered that we wouldn't be drinking alcohol.) Every single parent gushed over the facilities. The kids had a blast. We used the grill, the pool, the fire pit, the kitchen and the various seating areas. It was such a fun night! Also, I really appreciated that the hosts trusted that their guests will treat their property well. Everything in the bathroom and kitchen were so well stocked.

My family thoroughly enjoyed our stay at Rustic Elegance. The setting is beautiful beyond description, and it is worth waking up early for the sunrises over the lake. We were lucky to see a Barred Owl perched on a stump just off the patio, and enjoyed watching the herons, cranes, eagles and osprey feeding on the lake each day. The house was well appointed, and worked out perfectly for our family. The spa like feel made us wish we could stay longer. We hope to return in future years when traveling to this area!

So great! The cottage was so quaint and nice. Only thing I would recommend would be brighter address numbers on the side of the house - not clear which house was it when we arrived!

We thoroughly enjoyed our stay! We would love to visit again in warner weather so we can also enjoy the beautiful pool and outdoor features! Even in the cooler weather, the game room and theater room made the holiday enjoyable for everyone. The hosts are very responsive and helpful. Thank you for an amazing vacation getaway.

Don’t wait just book. Raquel and Christopher were amazing. We actually arrived at the wrong building (no fault of theirs) and they stayed on the phone until we made it to our building and stayed on until we made it inside of our apartment! They were absolutely the BEST!!! The apartment is beautiful and the backdrop to a great weekend in Birmingham!

I was looking for a place close to the grandview hospital and for that, Clint’s place suited me perfectly. It was a quick 5 mins drive. They had a gym that was perfect. The apt had all the amenities and wake up Birmingham are quite responsive to any questions and ready to help. The kitchen is well stocked with utensils. We stayed for a month and had enough linen and all the utensils needed for cooking everyday. The beds are comfortable and it’s a great place. I only have one recommendation. If the garage fob can be placed along with the apt key in the lockbox it would be easier to just enter the garage with the car once retrieved.

Great location, smartly decorated and comfy bed. Enjoyed the amenities and the nice extras like coffee and snacks. Definitely would stay there again.

Came for a bass tournament on Lake Jordan. We caught so many fish and it was beautiful. We had vehicle trouble so had to cut our trip short. BUT a neighbor stopped and offered to take us where ever we needed. He was so nice. Everything was easy to find in the cabin. It was perfect and gave us lot of ideas for our cabin in Andalusia. Great stay. Great atmosphere.

We felt at home when we walked in. It was super comfortable. We enjoyed cooking and eating breakfast and dinner at the house!

We highly recommend this place. Very private and relaxing setting. Very clean and renovated with perfectly curated decor and finishes. Dog friendly like no other places we stayed at. Perfect AC temp on arrival. Great access to the lake. Caught bass and crappies of the dock. The owner communicated well with us at all times. We’ll be back for sure!!

This was one of the very best Airbnb‘s we have ever stayed at. It is so peaceful and serene tucked back on a private piece of property no neighbors! This place is honestly a piece of paradise! Do yourself a favor and book here it’s good for the soul!! the Airbnb was extremely clean and beautiful better than the pictures. Drake, thank you for such a wonderful place to stay. 5 stars – Peaceful and full of charm! Maggie’s place is a cozy, rustic getaway surrounded by nature. We fished, explored the creek, and relaxed by the fire pit. The view from the bed was stunning, and the whole property has an old-world, peaceful vibe. A perfect place to unplug and reconnect with what matters. Thank you for another perfect stay!!

We had a wonderful time at the log cabin. Peaceful, relaxing and exactly what we were looking for this holiday. The property is gorgeous. The cabin has incredible character while being still comfortable and having the amenities we needed. We found hiking trails just 10 minutes away at Double Oak. Best of all, it was quality time spent enjoying our boys and our pup.

Had a group come down from Pennsylvania to try the NASCAR Talladega Spring race for the first time, plus some of us came up from Wetumpka. Great location, very peaceful. I grew up next to a four track freight rail line, so the little train coming around reminded me of home! We will be coming back for more races in the future, this place was awesome!

This property is a hidden gem and is a home-away-from-home! It comfortably slept 8 guests and the amenities are extensive! We will definitely be booking this property again!
