Samantha was a gracious, accommodating and responsive host. If southern hospitality and charm are what you’re looking for then she and the Cottage at the Silos check every box. Our stay was short but sweet. Our only regret was not being able to stay longer. We look forward to booking again in the future.

This place was perfect for our group! It is close to hunting and fishing opportunities. It was very clean and well stocked with all items that we would need for our trip. It was a short drive into town if we needed anything like gas and groceries. After the first couple of days one of the owners checked on us to make sure we had everything that we needed and he was super hospitable. We hope to make this our spot to stay as an annual trip that we take to this area. Thank you Christy for the awesome place to stay!

This space was very cozy, private, and exclusive! The aesthetic of the cabin was superb. Our Cell phone signal worked the entire time, our compact Chevy trax survived the unpaved roads just fine. The host was friendly, and everything is as described. Highly recommend this space for a romantic getaway and awesome view while in the hot tub.

We had a wedding in the area so it was a great place to stay… we could come and go with the grandkids…

If you are looking for your own piece of heaven for a few days or even weeks, look no further. My husband and I spent a week here with our three dogs and we had plenty to keep us busy and if we didn’t want to be busy we enjoyed just staying inside or right outside the cabin. We kayaked, hand fed his ducks, hiked, hunted, had fires, hot tub, shooting range, and most of all relaxed. We wish we could have stayed forever! Thank you Nick for sharing your beautiful place with the world!

We really enjoyed our stay here! It was very cozy, clean, and had everything we needed for a comfortable stay. I absolutely loved the view. It’s beautiful with all the windows right on the lake. The electric fireplace and Christmas decor was so pretty at night & made it feel like home. You have everything you need for cooking. Pots and pans, utensils, toaster, coffee pots, etc. & Travis had some fresh snacks & a bottle of wine for us. So nice after getting in from a long drive! Plenty of fresh towels & some extra blankets. We didn’t use the grill or fire-pit but I loved that it was an option. & lastly, I adored the swings facing the water. Perfect place to sit & enjoy the view. We definitely plan to stay again in the future when we’re visiting.
