Vacation rentals with a fire pit in Lassen County

I grew up in Quincy so I know how beautiful and peaceful it is in Plumas County. Even so, this location has some kind of magic. Every window has a great view, l loved cooking on the gourmet stove, the house is steps away from Spanish Creek. There is a spectacular train track in the sky which is an engineering masterpiece. If you enjoy reading on a window seat, it’s downstairs in a sun filled room waiting for you. My husband and I will be back. The driveway entrance off the highway is super sketchy, but the second time we drove it was easier, that was the single issue we had with the property.

Updated kitchen, spacious, plenty of room for a boat, close to Rec area, good communication with owners. No complaints

My 4 friends and I stayed at Ernie's retreat for our Memorial Day weekend trip to Lassen and Lake Almanor. The photos don't do it justice--this place is gorgeous, and huge! We had plenty of space to relax, cook, and play games. There are clear instructions with how to use the propane fire pit outside, which we used to make s'mores. There is a roaring river right outside that makes you feel like you're far away in the wilderness. The kitchen and bathrooms are well stocked and the TVs all worked as well. Lake Almanor is a short walk or drive away, and we rented kayaks to explore the lake. Most importantly, Ernie is a stand-out host who is kind, proactive, and communicative. Thanks, Ernie!

The house was perfect. Perfect size for our stay with 3 families. Extremely clean. Host was very responsive. Best air bnb I have stayed in hands down.

What a wonderful and restful stay at Eva and Greg’s Almanor House! A friend and I wanted a girls' getaway to escape the 100+ degrees heat in the Butte County valley floor. We wanted to be close to Lake Almanor but away from the Labor Day crowds. This place was perfect in that we were minutes from a wonderful Pizza place, and other restaurants in Westwood and only 12 minutes from Lake Almanor for boating, hiking, picnicking, and lake-view restaurants. We enjoyed the beautifully decorated cottage with super plush couch, comfy beds, and fully stocked kitchen and two bathrooms. We ate our meals both in a breakfast nook and outside by the fire pit and we enjoyed the hot tub after a long day of exploring. The neighborhood was very quiet and we can see the stars at night. Eva and Greg were very responsive with our every question before the stay and were available by email/text. Everything from toiletries, towels, fresh linens, very nice cooking instruments were provided in this cottage. Eva and Greg thought of everything to make our stay incredibly comfortable. We definitely will return again!

Beautiful home and views! Came here for a family wedding. The town is very small and not many things are open at this time of year but the home itself was well-equipped with the kitchen essentials etc. We had a fun time roasting marshmallows outside under the stars!

We absolutely loved our stay at this Airbnb. All the extra touches were wondering. Our girls loved the coloring and painting set up and the boys loved the outdoor activities. The house is very spacious and slept 7 of us comfortably. We only stayed one night, but everything was great!

Recently had a road trip and stayed at this cabin. I definitely recommend it. Well appointed, cool game room, and great location.

This stay exceeded our expectations. Spent our Christmas here and left before our pop Christmas tree arrived in the mail. Thankfully, there was a Christmas tree along with other Christmas decorations already up, all throughout the house and outside. It made our holiday special. Also, the only kitchen we’ve seen fully stocked with pots, pans, and utensils to make homemade meals. Thank you Brad for the attention to detail. There was absolutely nothing we needed during our stay. We’ll definitely be staying here again.

Throughout my stay at Ben and Nicole's I looked forward to writing a review because of how much I appreciated so many thoughtful details about their beautiful space. They thought of everything! From the record player, to the milk frother, the outside twinkle lighting, fire pit, and of course the sauna. We loved our stay her and genuinely hope to be back! The house is also very clean and updated with plush cozy towels and nice bedding. The one thing I would note, which has nothing to do with this beautiful Airbnb, is that this town is really more built for summer. There was a lot we couldn't do yet because of the time of year (road closures to lakes, golf course not open yet etc) which is obviously because of winter. But I just wanted to note that for anyone not from around here in case that info is helpful. It's still so relaxing, beautiful, and peaceful to be in Graegle anytime!

Easy walk to Mill Pond, Knotty Pine and Graeagle store. Really enjoyed the pickle ball courts nearby, and the pool table in the home. Lots of space for our family to spread out.

We had a wonderful stay! The cabin had everything we needed – from a BBQ grill to a propane center table, and all the comforts of home. Melinda went above and beyond in every way. Just a note for EV drivers: the nearest charger is about 65 miles away, and due to the climb, the car uses more battery than expected. You’ll also need extra charge for the return trip and any local driving, so bringing a home charger is highly recommended. Thanks again for a great stay!

We had a lovely stay here as our home base for adventures in the area and a few visits to Lassen National Park. The location is perfect to have as a place to recharge and relax in-between adventures. The view from the yard is breathtaking. The beds were cozy, the living room set up with a TV for movies, and a well stocked kitchen. We opted for this place in particular because it had an impressive two full bathrooms which is a must for when we travel. If we ever find our way back to Chester, we'd totally stay here again.

This place was amazing and the hosts Greg and Alaine were responsive throughout the entire process and even left us a bottle of wine to enjoy. They made this space to be very cozy and homelike, we were all very happy! The patio and backyard we loved, one recommendation that would elevate the space would be an outdoor umbrella on the patio as the sun was very strong, but other than that we love this space and whenever we are in this area again would love to stay here!
