Lake side house rentals in Lake Bomoseen

We spent the whole week wishing we lived in this sweet little cottage all the time. Everything about it was lovely, and the place had everything we could need. Lesley was a warm and helpful host. We didn't want to leave! Thank you for the beautiful retreat.

We stayed at Kevin's place for my son's graduation from Middlebury College. We were there for three nights. While it is only a two bedroom home, their configuration of beds made it easy for us to sleep many more people (as long as they don't mind not having walls). The view is stunning. They also have tons of "toys." We hadn't chosen the house for this reason, but the young people loved the garage converted into "fun room" with billiards, foos ball, and bar. The kitchen was modern, clean and well equipped. While it was really cold when we arrived, and I was concerned about being warm enough, their mini-splits did the job along with a space heater they keep in the house. Two of my guests noted the AIrBnB listing and said they would like to return with their extended families. Kevin was kind and allowed us an early check in, which was convenient. The house had everything we needed, and everything we wanted. It really fit the bill for our group.

AMAZING VIEW!!! Loved waking up to the mountains each morning and enjoying the sunsets each evening. Such a cozy, yet spacious home. Our family of 7 were very comfortable and it was so peaceful and relaxing to come home to or hang out & also enjoy the outdoors. Especially loved the fire pit and sound of the creek. Comfortable beds and a short trip to town for great food and shops. Short drive to ski resorts & Woodstock not too far away. Would absolutely return.

My husband, dog and I needed a quiet getaway and this was exactly that. The house was so well equipped, spotless and the outdoor areas were perfect. We had a great, relaxing stay and would definitely book again.

The place was fantastic and we had a great trip to Lake George. Grazia was incredibly accommodating of us having to cut our trip a day short and willing to refund us for a night when we had an unexpected family funeral to attend. We can’t thank Grazia enough for her hospitality and her flexibility and kindness during a difficult time. We hope to get back up to Lake George next year to enjoy her place and all LG has to offer!

Exactly as advertised - beautiful, very private, clean; a perfect place for a solo/couple getaway. Seamless communication and logistics with the friendly hosts, who clearly maintain the cabin with care. Book it!

A really wonderful stay in a beautiful setting right by the lake! Not as remote as the pictures may have implied. And the fire place in the photos was not in the yurt as pictured—but we assumed it was removed for the summer (though wish it was still there on our first night, as it was raining and got very cold). The outdoor shower and lake views made up for it though. It was a magical time. Thank you!

Had an absolute wonderful time at Amy’s place. If you are looking for a quiet and beautiful spot, this is the place for you! Whether you want to sit by the fireplace and roast some marshmallows or go kayaking, it was a wonderful experience. Amy was responsive and answered all of my questions. Will definitely be booking again!

Martha’s place is the perfect waterfront property to stay at for a relaxing weekend! The amenities are great and it is a cozy/updated camp with everything you need! It is close to neighbors and situated in a walkable community with friendly people. Great for a summer getaway with family or friends!

Our stay at the lake was truly amazing! The house was impeccably clean and well-maintained, and the location was perfect for enjoying the lake. Lisa was incredibly responsive and helpful throughout our stay. Highly recommended!

Great cabin on the lake. We were there when it was frigid out but the heaters kept us nice and cozy and the lake views were gorgeous. We didn’t have a lot of luck ice fishing but we had fun trying. We went to the college, to local restaurants, skiing at snow bowl, and snow shoeing near the house to Silver Lake. Thanks for a great trip!

The Grafton house was perfect for our multi-family with the big space, bedrooms, and bathrooms. We loved the living room area where we could all sit together for family games. The property and house are beautiful and the perfect Vermont vibes. As a skiing family, we liked the location between our favorite ski resorts. Raphael was a wonderful host in providing instructions before our arrival and helpful advice. We really enjoyed our stay at the Gafton house.

This place is awesome, great location on the lake as described. The host was very helpful and what ever we needed she provided for us. Great house inside and outside a lot of room and very clean. Great view from the hot tub definitely worth coming here for relax and good time with friends and family. will come back in the future

Lovely home in a lovely setting. The view is breathtaking and Barbara has outfitted the space woth everything you could possibly need. She is extremely thoughtful and personable. The area is great for hiking and outdoor activities but is also near Middlebury College and Burlington.

Fern Gully is magical, especially in Spring when we visited. Very private setting with breathtaking views of Vermont's landscape, but still easy to get into Woodstock. The place has everything you'd need and is tastefully decorated.

Very nice, peaceful cabin. View is beautiful. Cabin has everything you need. Kayaking right outside your door. Nice spot to relax and unplug.

Best vacation I've had in years. I have traveled quite a bit but never used Airbnb before. I included this in my initial message. Darren made sure to give clear and precise instructions that made everything from start to finish so easy and comfortable. The pics don't do the property justice. As beautiful as the photos look, in person everything is magnified by a hundred. My two pups also loved VT and they really enjoyed chasing each other around the property. If you would be so kind as to host us again, we would definitely be back!!

The Meadow Cabin was amazing. I wanted to go somewhere off-grid for a night and couldn’t have asked for a better place. There is a great story behind this cabin as well! I had everything I needed and nothing I didn’t. I spent about 24hrs in total there and never felt the need to play music or open a book. I just enjoyed the space, indoor and out, and took in the scenery. Will absolutely go back next time I need to disconnect!

We spent a weekend and had our two kids and one dog with us. It was a little cabin set near multiple other cabins, and was perfectly functional for our needs. We used it as a home base to go hiking, biking, and fishing. If you’re into biking, Slate Valley trails are incredible and the local gravel roads are too. It was our 2nd time at Lake St Catherine, and we love the area. The hosts were kind and welcoming, and we’d definitely come again!

calming activity rich stay. gorgeous location, house had lots of fun activities. kayaks, fishing poles, water blow up floaties. the lake was large, perfect to explore and find little areas and look for fish as the water was very clear. overall would stay again.
