Vacation rentals in Lafayette County

Cozy, intimate, had everything we needed and more. My three siblings and I live across three separate states & were able to gather and celebrate the holidays with our significant others and niblings in a home environment. Ashley’s place had everything we could have wanted and the place was super kid friendly. Thank you so much for making our holiday so special.

We are a group of high school classmates that are either retired or near retirement. We get together at least one time a year. This was our first outing at an Airbnb and it was absolutely fabulous. The home is gorgeous. Jolene was awesome to work with and checked in on us regularly. We would definitely go back. Nothing better than recharging in the country. Every room was decorated with primitives and antiques. All appliances and electronics were new and clean. The walk in showers were very roomy and the water was hot. The bedrooms were quiet and the beds were comfortable. We would definitely love to go back DHS Gal Pals of 1978

Whoa, words cannot discribe how much of gem this place truly is... beautiful, scenic, serene, and welcoming with all the amenities (washer/dryer/ stocked kitchen, welcome basket, spice rack), we felt right at home; The walking trails and near by pond were a lovley outdoor experience as well and the stars were incredible!

This beautiful cabin oasis is must visit. My husband and I enjoyed every moment and could relax in peace with the location, the scenery and comforts and cleanliness of this cabin. Instructions were clear and we had everything we could have possible needed. We highly recommend and hope to come visit again!

This was such an awesome experience! Not only is the loft gorgeous but the sheep and other critters are so fun to pet and play with. Karen was a great host and we felt right at home!

This place was so nice! Everything was clean and felt like home, it was so well built and thought out. The farm was such a nice addition the animals were great from the goats to the dog and cats. We were so pleased with everything. Thank you Ashley!

Kevin's place is fantastic, we had a wonderful experience staying here. The place was spotless, nicely decorated, and exactly as described in the listing. The location is private, sitting in the woods with a view of rolling farmland, a river, and woodlands. The beds were comfortable with plenty of blankets/pillows. The house was the best stocked place I've ever been to with AirBNB, and Kevin even had a welcome gift in the fridge for us...beer and cheese, so Wisconsin! I would definitely recommend this place to anyone looking for privacy, comfort, and a welcoming place to stay. Thank You Kevin for a great getaway!

Paul and Julie's Eliza House was a perfect place for our overnight girls' get together! From the moment we arrived, we felt at home. Each room had it's own charm with many interesting furnishings and decor. The chair lift was a big help! Paul went above and beyond sending us info on local places to eat and parks to visit. They even stopped in the cafe to say hello (a great fish fry he recommended). We are talking about coming back in the summer! A great place to stay!

My wife and I visited with our 15 month old son. It was clean and peaceful. We were comfortable our entire stay and enjoyed the thoughtful touches. What an amazing weekend!

The place was exactly as I had hoped it would be. Original decor, floors, vault, etc. added to the charm of this place. We were there for a wedding in the area and rented the entire building. I highly suggest doing it this way. I wish we would have stayed more than one night because there was a lot about the bnb and the area that I would have liked to have explored.

This is our 5th time staying at the farm. So obviously we feel this place is a must to stay at! We enjoy the peaceful county feel of being at the end of a dead end road. The quiet of the old farm. And the feel of being home away from home! We enjoyed the sunroom on the sunny days as it did help worm that little room up nicely with a small heater and the hot sun! This year our favorite part was listening to the old record on the record player! Being at the farmhouse for us helps us to stop, rest and we choose to take a step back in time unconnected the electronics and spend time together as a family. We read Narnia together, listened and danced to music, did puzzles and laughed as we enjoyed the care free days of our stay. Jeanne and Ralph and Matthew add special touches like snacks tea/coffee and a lovely decorations like the Christmas tree at Christmas time. Along with a clean home and all the regular things one needs that make the stay just wonderful!

Such a unique spot to stay. Less than 30 minutes from Galena, IL where we spent our day! We recommended this place to all of our friends and will definitely be back!
