What a lovely home! It felt like we were staying in a museum (which I’ve always wanted to do), but without the do not touch signs! The furnishings and design are all perfect for the historic setting and comfortable as well. Bill is amazing at communicating quickly and didn’t seem to mind all the questions I sent him as a first-time user of Airbnb! Entry is on a keypad and the house had all the supplies we needed. I hope very much to stay there again!

The kitchen was well stocked with all we needed for cooking meals, including a cookbook we enjoyed. One of the best things about this house is how close it is to Starved Rock, Buffalo Rock and Mathison parks!

This is the 2nd time we've stayed here, and we'll definitely be going back. Lots to do in the area, and the house has everything you need to stay close to home, as well. The place is spacious and the attention to detail is a nice touch. The hosts are super responsive, and the proximity to Starved Rock and Matthiessen State Parks make this a perfect getaway spot.
