Kohala vacation rentals

Location, location, location! We chose this airBNB specifically so we could be close to Magic Sands Beach. It was perfect. We could walk right across the street with beach chairs, cooler, and wakeboards that were at the Airbnb. So very convenient when you’re traveling from so far away. The pool onsite was impeccable and so clean. Looks like the Pickleball courts were brand new - which we used and had a great time. We would highly recommend this place to anyone that wants an ideal location, white Sandy beaches and access to good restaurants.

This is our 4th stay at Kona Bali Kai and this unit is our absolute favorite! The kitchen was well stocked with dishes, pots and pans, and even a spice rack. Both bathrooms were clean and nice AND stocked with shampoo and conditioner! The bedrooms were very comfortable and the lanai had table and chairs and comfy chaise lounges. And there were 4 beach chairs, 2 beach umbrellas, cooler and snorkel gear!! Made our vacation even more enjoyable. Holly was easy to get ahold of. We HIGHLY recommend this unit and will definitely stay there next year!

Our stay at this condo was wonderful- appreciated the central AC during a warm humid few days in Kona! Great amenities, plenty of beach/snorkeling gear, well-stocked kitchen, and comfy couch and beds. The guest room queen bed was a tad firm, but worked well for one of the couples. The king bed in the main bedroom was very comfortable. We enjoyed breakfast on the lanai with a peek ocean view and the occasional rooster noises (bring earplugs if you like to sleep in! This applies to the whole island, tbh). Oh, and the pool area was great too when we needed a break from all the great beaches nearby! Would definitely stay again!

Gorgeous bungalow! Totally modern, so clean, we felt right at home, plenty of space for our family of 3. Private! Great outdoor space: side deck & large back lanai with comfy furniture. Lots of local beaches to walk to, eateries, and farmers market. Short drive (5 min.) or bike to Kona town. Host responded quickly with local tips and recommendations. We would love to stay again! This condo is right on the water - nothing but a strip of lawn between you and the water. It has a nice lanai ( balcony) with a dining table and chairs for four and a couple of lounge chairs. The kitchen is reasonably well kitted out. Paul was exceptionally responsive and nice.

Coconut Cottage was absolutely wonderful! A perfect, little hidden gem! The location could not have been better for our teen son and his friends. The cottage was exactly as described and offered everything we needed for our stay. We suffered a family emergency while there, and Susan was so understanding in assisting with our immediate needs. I am so sad that we had to cut our vacation short, but we cannot wait to return!

Our hosts were terrific! Very responsive. We received a detailed message with all instructions ahead of time. The condo was very clean and had everything we needed during our stay (even batteries!). They had games available, and all sorts of beach items available (umbrella, chairs, boogie boards, noodles, etc.). The pool at the condo was wonderful-we made several trips to the pool. The moment we arrived we knew the condo was exactly what we needed and that we had made the right choice renting this condo. We hadn’t even left yet and were looking to rent this again for our next trip!! We absolutely recommend this place to families!

We had a great stay at this lovely condo in Mauna Lani. It is nicely decorated with beachy decor and the kitchen is well stocked. You can tell the owners put thought and care into their home and it shows. The included access to the Mauna Lani Beach Club is a fantastic perk and the available snorkel & beach gear in the garage were much appreciated! Kudos to cleaning crew and their cute bow “art” with the toilet paper and paper towels.

We loved the gorgeous sunset views from the spacious lanai. The condo was clean, well equipped and it’s a short walk to beautiful ABay beach, great restaurants and shops. It was also really nice to have shaded, covered parking. Mahalo to the thoughtful responsive host!

The only place we stay on the Big Island! Perfect location in the center of everything and within walking distance of the beach,shops, and restaurants. The house is immaculate with every amenity we needed for our 2 week stay. Allison is the best host we have had in our various AirBnB stays. She is friendly, proactive and helpful. Excited for our next trip to her place!

We had a great stay! Joe and Cindy were incredibly responsive and helpful throughout. The place was beautiful, well-stocked with everything we needed, and parking was super easy. Would definitely consider staying here again!

The unit exceeded our expectations in every regard. Quiet and peaceful development, with close proximity to the pool. A trailhead for a short walk to the beach was just down the road, which offered easy access to the beach if you didn’t want to drive. We will definitely be renting this unit again.

This was such a a wonderful place to stay. It was perfect for our small family with plenty of space to spread out. The spaces were amazing and comfortable and it was easy to keep cool. The location was great in terms of walking out to cafes and shops. It was nice and quiet and perhaps were it not for the full moon a great place to check out the night sky. We made great use of the beach toys and chairs. I honestly can't imagine a better place to stay.

Perfect condo air bnb for our 2 night stay in Hilo! Wish it were longer. One of the most well equipped rentals I’ve had. Roku TV, pool, fridge, oven, microwave, coffee pot, and clean fluffy towels. Nice studio on the ground floor. Jungle feel to surrounding grounds. Close to all the prime Hilo spots. Easy in and out. Clearly Vivian aims to please! Thanks for a great stay!

We absolutely loved our stay at this cute cabin nestled in the lush mountainside. Between the stunning view of Kailua-Kona and the ocean during the day, the fun of sleeping in the loft area, and going to sleep with the song of the coqui frogs outside, this cabin was perfect. Would recommend to anyone visiting the Big Island.

Cherie è stata molto gentile, ci ha fornito tutte le istruzioni necessarie e ci ha mandato un sacco di consigli per la zona. Inoltre quando il vulcano ha eruttato ci ha avvisate per poter andare a vederlo. Il posto è stupendo e tenuto con molta cura. Si trova vicino al punto più a sud degli Stati Uniti, alla spiaggia verde (che abbiamo amato), alla spiaggia nera dove ci sono le tartarughe e al volcano national park.

The place was very quaint and perfect for what we wanted in Big Island. We wanted peace and quiet, vegetation and star gazing. All accomplished!!

Private and peaceful we really loved the coffee farm cottage! It was a great place for an our short stay on the big island and it provided the peaceful retreat we were looking for having spent the week prior in Waikīkī. The location provides quick access to Kona and to the islands attractions. We look forward to a return trip and another sunset overlooking the coffee trees.

5+++++ stars for Candice sweet retreat in the rainforest -close to Volcano NP and conveniently located to other attractions on the island. We have visited the Big Island many times - Candice' cottage is standing out positive. Mahalo ❤️

Staying at the cottage was absolutely magical. The host was super sweet, super helpful, and responsive. She is proactive in giving directions and provides thorough info upon check in. The cottage is in a beautiful jungle type environment where you can hear frogs and other local animals at night. The space is beautiful and clean and provides such a relaxing environment. We definitely want to visit again!

We were looking for a quiet retreat as a base for Kona beach adventures. This was it! Scott and Caroline were very responsive and helpful with our questions. The cottage was well equipped for cooking meals (numerous condiments, dish soap, paper towels, pots and pans) and with beach equipment (chairs, umbrella, boogie boards, beach towels)
