Vacation rentals with a pool in Kerr County

We all loved the house! Comfortable and the outside surrounding area very beautiful! Travis was a great host! We would definitely stay again with our grown children and grandchildren!

It was a very relaxing place, very charming and quaint! The location was great and not very far from town! Will be planning on using again!

My family of 12, and 4 kids just had an amazing weekend at this property. It was very private, but yet there are stores nearby if you need anything. The guys had a great time being able to fish whenever they wanted and having the pool & jacuzzi to ourselves was another plus! Besides the great amenities at our disposal, Matthew was an amazing host. He began to communicate with me the moment I booked, up to the time we left regarding anything we may need or questions. Very kind and accommodating. We are definitely coming back and highly recommend if you are looking to have a private ranch get away with multiple people.

The property at at The Owl Loft is beautiful it is surrounded by hills and one of the best parts besides the pool ( grand babies loved the pool) was the amazing view of the stars at night we even got to see some shooting stars. We had some of the donkeys great us when we got in which was also a highlight for the family. The house was clean and well stocked the kitchen had everything you’d need there were plenty of towels and extra sheets as well.

Wondering host! BEAUTIFUL home, if you needed it, wanted it, what ever this house had it! BEST STOCKED KITCHEN EVER! Pool and Front porch for watching the wild life EXCELLENT!!!!

Beautiful house! My family and I enjoyed our stay at this home. We enjoyed how peaceful the area was and how short of a ride it was to the town. The pool was a fun addition. We will be coming back again!

We recently had the pleasure of staying at Gail’s beautiful guesthouse nestled on her expansive Hill Country property, and it was a truly peaceful getaway. The guesthouse is charming, clean, and thoughtfully outfitted with everything you might need—comfortable bedding, a well-stocked kitchen, and touches of local character throughout. There was a small mix-up at check-in, but Gail was responsive and quick to resolve it, going above and beyond to make sure we were settled and comfortable. Her warmth and attentiveness really stood out and made the whole experience feel more personal. The views of the surrounding hill country were stunning, and the property itself offers a great sense of space and serenity—perfect for relaxing. I highly recommend Gail’s guesthouse to anyone looking for a quiet, scenic retreat with an exceptional host.

The house was a great fit for our family of 12 who gathered for a weekend wedding in Hunt. Clean, cozy, and surprisingly spacious with a well equipped kitchen, a beautiful raised deck with ample outdoor seating, and lovely in-tune upright piano that we enjoyed very much. The house is part of a rustic compound of other rental houses in various states of repair. The roads through the compound are mostly narrow, winding, gravel, and unlit, but nonetheless navigable and befitting of the beautiful rural surroundings. Deer, foxes, water fowel, and other local fauna roam freely about this peaceful space. The kids enjoyed a short trek down to the pond.

I would recommend family friends and everyone else to enjoy this place it was clean and very spacious. I will most definitely be a returning customer.

I brought my grandson from out west for a golf tournament. We prefer a tranquil setting and modern accommodations over the hustle and bustle of a hotel packed with other tournament golfers. The setting is beautiful the property is nice and we felt right at home. I would highly recommend the presidential suite we stayed in. Very nice with beautiful views, and just a short drive from Kerrville. The resort itself has lots of amenities for just hanging around and relaxing.

Great location, very clean with everything we needed to enjoy the holiday weekend. Pool is beautiful and beds also very comfortable.

Great summer vacation spot! Our family enjoyed the view and relaxing time in the pool and hot tub. Also played Frisbee golf and had other options. Would love to come back in the near future!

My family enjoyed this Hilltop resirt. so mu h to do amd beautiful surrounding countryside. The resort does have private river access but it's wasn't a place we got in the river. Lots of wildlife in the area. With the resort on top of a hill it does take 20-30 minutes to get to a from town so be prepared before arriving. There is an area for stargazing that was absolutely beautiful. The amenities are endless the pool was sparkling clean, hot tub was hot! closes at 10PM and there are resort rules like no alcohol or smoking no floatation devices or balls. That did not stop us from enjoying our stay. So many deer in the front yard and all around the resort. just beautiful and peaceful. 10/10 from us.

We had a great time! The unit was very clean, and staff at the resort were very kind and helpful. The only bit of confusion that we had was that we weren’t renting a specific unit. This is a timeshare, so you are assigned a unit at check-in. The pictures are stock pictures. Overall, we had a wonderful time and were very happy with the accommodations!

Check in was long. One lady at the side desk (not the check in lady, she was great) got annoyed that I booked the room through Airbnb. She tried to say that because I booked my room via Airbnb it was kicking her other guests out of their rooms. I was very confused and didn’t see how that could possibly be my problem and why she would even tell me. The room itself is nice and very clean. The WiFi didn’t work. I had to purchase the WiFi myself each day of my stay because they didn’t have a username that worked. Not a big deal but annoying. There is zero cell service with ATT. The room has a musky smell but you do get used to it after being in the room a bit. I didn’t realize there were multiple units in the property and there are noises from the people upstairs. It’s not terrible but hopefully they will go to bed soon. Very “corporate” feel. Fantastic place to eat near by was grape juice. Shrimp tacos were amazing! The mornings are nice here. A/C works great. Gym and pool is nice.

We came for one night to pick up our daughter from camp. It was a busy weekend, so I can understand the bump in price. Zoar and Eric were very responsive and worked with me on that. We had a simple issue with the refrigerator, and they were very quick to respond and come to a solution. Overall, we were very happy with our stay. The unit is spacious and well appointed for our needs. We would definitely stay there again.
