“Mell-o has a friendly and welcoming home. Easy to find, easy access to highway. If you are going to see the crane migration, the house is very close to several excellent viewing areas. Also nearby are great hiking and biking trails, museums and other attractions.”

“I have stayed in many airbnbs and highly recommend this one; my experience there was one of the best. Chuck greeted us upon arrival and allowed us to park in his garage. There were 3 of us traveling so we used the entire upstairs living space and never felt crowded. Upon arrival we were shown the 3 bedrooms, each so welcoming with fresh flowers and a St. Patrick's Day decoration. Homemade banana bread awaited along with a bottle of wine and a mini frig stocked with various drinks and lots of water. Chuck and Mary were available throughout our stay and communication was easy. The beds were comfortable and we enjoyed turning on the gas logs in the room to warm it quickly. The jacuzzi was fun, especially in the snow and Mary helped us remove the cover after brushing the snow off for us. My favorite amenity had to be the heated toilet seat (so awesome)!! The stairs up are a bit narrow but you have to expect that from an 1880's home and Chuck was right there to help us with our bags, both upon arrival and at our departure. I just can't say enough about these lovely hosts and their home.”
This cozy cabin is located 5 minutes from downtown Kearney. It sits on the Platte River with an incredible view of the Nebraska sunrises and sunsets. It has a nice fishing lake stocked with bass, crappie, blue gill and catfish. The fishing lake is directly outside the cabin. This cabin is furnished with leather furniture, cable tv, a queen size bed and A/C.
“Wonderful location, very comfortable bed, and all the kitchen you could need. We really wished we could stay longer but the road calls us away. Very nice area. Dirt road leading to it, so a few bumps but we enjoyed the reclusive feel without being an hour from town and restaurants. All of those were very close! We had a problem with internet at first but the host was out to fix it right away. He was great. Very cozy and comfortable for our family of three and my dog loved the extra space to roam off leash.”
