Kid-friendly vacation rentals in Kaimana Beach

Wow. This spot is the perfect location for three beaches: Kailua, Kalama, and Lanikai. Each one offers amazing views and sandy areas. You can do some snorkeling at Kailua or Lanikai. The Lanikai Pillbox Trail is a good one. The cottage had everything that I could need. The beach towel, cooler, and laundry were particularly valuable amenities for me. Thank you!

When my best friend came to town for a visit, I knew I needed a clean, private and spacious home base for us to relax when we were not busy exploring the island and reliving our college days on the beach - Stella's place was all that, and more! Exactly like the pictures, it was clean, tastefully decorated, and well maintained. Stella was a lovely host, quick to respond to any questions or concerns, and providing clear instructions on how to get the most out of our stay! We would 100% stay at Stella's place again! We had a fantastic stay at Emma’s beautiful home! It had everything our family needed, especially traveling with children. The house was spotless, comfortable, and incredibly well-stocked — from beach towels and boogie boards to coolers and chairs, Emma really thought of everything. The backyard and view were absolutely amazing, and being in a gated community made us feel very safe and at ease. Emma was extremely communicative and friendly throughout our stay, which made the whole experience even better. She truly goes above and beyond — we loved staying here and would absolutely come back!

Emma was great with accommodating us with our stay for the week. She was responsive and checked in on us throughout our stay to ensure our comfortability. This house is quite a gem! I was very lucky to book it for a graduation, and was so very pleased on the ease of check in. The convenience of shops down the street, did help me over buy, and have to pay for overweight bags, which added to my satisfaction! The local cuisine, helped us all expand our pallets, but being able to cook with all the amenities provided made the fruit markets exciting! Almost forgot to mention the hot tub! When I over did the sun it was so amazing to have another source of relaxing water, to just soak up the yard, listen to the birds, ok I’m rambling now. Book this house whenever it is available, I plan on coming back in 2 years. Would love to stay in this house again!

Great and very convenient location. It was so close to Waikiki Beach and other popular shops and restaurants. All within the walking distance.

We had a truly wonderful stay at this Airbnb in Hawaii! We were traveling with an infant, which can be a bit stressful, but this home made everything so much easier and more comfortable. The space was clean and thoughtfully equipped — they even had a pack 'n play and high chair available, which was a huge help. The location was perfect — close to beaches, shops, and restaurants. The hosts were incredibly responsive and kind, always checking in to make sure we had everything we needed. Highly recommend this place to any family traveling with young kids — we’d absolutely stay again! Mahalo for a beautiful and relaxing stay 🌺

The place is as advertised and Peter was a gracious host. It was well stocked with everything I needed for a visit to Hawaii and is in a great walkable location. Check in was a breeze!

This was my second stay, and just like the last time, everything was very comfortable and pleasant. It was a bit unfortunate that the bathroom ventilation fan broke on the first day, but aside from that, everything was wonderful and made for a very enjoyable stay. I would love to stay here again the next time I visit Hawaii. Thank you very much.

Everything was great! Carlo was responsive and friendly. The place itself is in such a convenient location to access the beach, the international market place, and Diamond head. As a solo traveler I felt so safe the entire time!

Excellent location and great apartment! The space was updated and very clean. We especially appreciated all of the items available for use: beach chairs, kids beach toys, pack and play, cookware, knives and cutting board, etc. The closest beach is just a block away and perfect for small kids- it was shallow and had a sea wall to keep the stronger waves out. We would definitely stay here again!

We had an incredible stay in Pacific Beach Rentals, and a huge part of that was thanks to our amazing host! From the moment we booked, communication was fast, clear, and friendly. The host went above and beyond to make sure we were comfortable and had everything we needed even sharing local tips for activities around the area. The check-in process was seamless, and the place was spotless, cozy, and exactly as described — if not better! The location is perfect: just a short walk to the beach, restaurants and shopping centers. Mahalo for such a wonderful experience — we’ll definitely be back!

Don’t hesitate to book this place. The hosts are friendly and the photos are accurate. The best thing, however, is that this place comes with free parking, which is usually at a premium in Waikiki. Not only that, but there is also a locker with a ton of beach stuff. Boogie boards included! This was a huge bonus.

Great place and location!

Perfect place to stay from beginning to end plus and the parking space is very useful if you want to rent a car to be out and about during the days. The hotel itself has all of the amenities you would want minus the gym but other than that it’s great. Everything downtown is in walking distance. The check in was easy and Tracy gives good instructions on how to get in to the unit. It’s comfortable, clean, and quiet. We will definitely be staying again on our next trip.

I’ve stayed at many Airbnb’s and I can say this is one the stays I experienced the most cleanliness all around. The sheets, towels, shower and everything else were exceptionally clean (kuddos to the cleaning personal). It’s convenient staying here as you are near many shops, we really enjoyed the Friday night hula dance that you can also experience as a guest at the Ilikai Hotel. The host provided shampoo, conditioner, body wash, plenty of beach towels and much more. Jacqueline we appreciate your amenities and admiration to keeping the place utterly clean and cozy!

This is a great property, recently renovated, just one block from Waikiki beach at the far south end. That means you have a 3-minute walk to be in the action, but you dont have to listen to it all night while you are trying to sleep. Owner is very proactive about communicating instructions, rules, etc. We didnt have to call/text at all to ask for anything. The place includes beach towels as well as beach chairs, umbrella, snorkel gear (more for kids), boogie board, a small cooler!, and most importantly, a wagon to carry it all! The last two items were a very nice touch. We packed up all of this in our rental and drove it 1-1/2 hr all the up to Waimea Bay and had everything we need for a 5-6 hour beach stay! I give this place 4-1/2 stars (rounded up to 5). Only three (minor) complaints: (1) no washcloths -- plenty of towels, but no cloths for bathing -- only a loofah (which i dont like for germ reasons) (2) AC unit works great but is VERY loud (3) wish the second BR had a king bed
