Home with sweeping views of Appalachian Mountains

Location, location, location!! This cabin had a beautiful view. It was very peaceful and private with easy access. It had a homey feel inside. It was clean and appliances were in working order. Ac/heater were working great! We had some snow furries and freezing rain during our stay but this was the perfect place to wait it out. 15 min from Boone! Close to shopping and great restaurants. Had a great time!

Skipping Stones Getaway - Watauga Lake Dock & Hot

JolynneRating, 5 stars1 month ago
We had a truly wonderful stay at Skipping Stones Getaway with our family of five. From the moment we arrived, it felt like a peaceful retreat—surrounded by beautiful views and the kind of quiet that instantly helps you unwind. Christie and Donaven have thought of everything. The house was fully stocked with all the essentials (and then some). From extra phone charging cables to those little items you might forget to pack, it was clear they’ve put a lot of care and attention into making guests feel at home. We spent our days out on the lake kayaking, soaking up the calm and beauty of the surroundings, and our evenings enjoying quality time together around the fire. It was the perfect mix of fun and relaxation. Skipping Stones Getaway is the kind of place you want to return to. Highly recommend for anyone looking to slow down, recharge, and make lasting memories in a truly lovely setting.

The Eagle's Nest w/Paddle Boards and Kayaks.

HollyRating, 5 stars1 day ago
If you're looking to unplug and get away from it all, this mountain cabin is exactly what you need. Tucked far off the beaten path, it's surrounded by stunning scenery and just a short walk from the lake. The cabin itself is cozy yet spacious, with one bedroom but plenty of sleeping space for a group (we had 8 adults and were very comfortable). It’s stocked with all the essentials for a relaxing stay, no need to go anywhere unless you really want to. Would recommend taking extra toilet paper and paper towels. If you're someone who likes to dine out, be prepared to drive. Restaurants and stores are quite a distance away, so plan ahead and bring what you need. But honestly, that's part of the charm, it's a place meant for staying in, slowing down, and enjoying the quiet. The deck deserves a special mention, it’s hands-down the most relaxing part of the property. Whether you're sipping a drink, reading a book, or just soaking in the view, it's the perfect place to unwind.
A spacious living area features large windows allowing natural light and mountain views. A stone fireplace is centered against a wooden accent wall, with a mounted TV above. Comfortable seating includes a light gray sofa and a patterned area rug under a wooden coffee table.

Lake Life Mountain & Lake Views, Hot Tub, & Dock

AllysonRating, 5 stars1 month ago
The place was perfect for our girls weekend. Plenty of space and bathrooms for getting ready. Kitchen was well equipped and plenty inside the house to keep folks occupied. Of note, beds in most rooms seemed to be full size not queen as advertised. Be sure to carpool as parking is tight for more than 2-3 cars. All in all had a great time and loved the house and location!

Real Log Cabin with Amazing Hot Tub

BettyRating, 5 stars4 days ago
We enjoyed our 3rd stay at Bobcat Run. It is always comfortable, cozy and a great get away for my husband and I and our two grown daughters and our son-in-laws. Great family time . We always feel right at home. The cabin is so cozy and well stocked with everything we could ever need. We enjoy cooking our own meals and a great place to relax in the evening after hiking and spending time in the NC Mountains. Always a great place! Erika's personal touches make it so special. We will return!

Hickory Hollow: Boone's Best Adventures!

MichaelRating, 5 stars1 month ago
Look no further for your mountain retreat. This was our third stay and counting - this cabin is absolutely amazing! Traveling with kids, pets, and/or grandparents? Even better ... there is plenty of room to socialize and no shortage of places to relax alone with a good book or to just enjoy the scenery. We love to sit by the fireplace and play cards in the living room or venture outside and float in the hot tub then roast marshmallows around the firepit. There's also a ton of deck space, perfect for grilling. Every bit of this charming home is clean, spacious, and cozy. We couldn't ask for better accommodations and the price is very fair. Highly recommended!

Daltons Creek Cabin-Creston, NC

MatthewRating, 5 stars41 months ago
We had a group get together in January and everything was great! The house listing is accurate, the views were beautiful and the trail up the mountain was really fun. The main living area was a great hangout spot. Only real wish was that the hot tub was closer up on the balcony or that the basement was finished so it's not a freezing trek from the hot tub. That's no reason not to rent this place, I will likely be back.

Wonderful cabin getaway weekend- driving up to the cabin can be treacherous in winter so 4WD a must. Walking inside the door opens up to a warm cozy cabin, fireplace and sleeping arrangements were super accommodating. Beautiful views and awesome games basement. Make sure you check hot tub temp as soon as you arrive!

Leon was wonderful! Great, quiet place, pleasant hottub, and big comfy beds with soft linens. We left a headlamp there and Leon went above and beyond to get it back to us. Should be arriving in the next couple days. Thanks for everything, Leon! I will stay here again if I'm ever in the area again. Love the ample taxidermy decor!
