We loved staying at Jerry and Taylor's cabin. Beautiful sun rises and sunsets. Enjoyed visiting with the animals. Great recommendations and accommodations.
Sunny Side Cabin on the Doe River
Due to the floods last year the driveway looked rough at midnight when we arrived, but it was fine. There were activities in the cabin for littles, which we didn't need, but it would be great for families with littles for sure. The kitchen was supplied with pans for cooking, dishes and silverware for eating. There was a blanket for the dogs so they could sit and sleep with us like at home. The porch overlooks the river and the sound of the water was super relaxing.

We absolutely loved staying at Rivers Edge! Cutest little cabin with the best view! We got to see a fox across the river looking for some food and a family of deer crossing the river this morning before we left! Cabin was stocked with everything you need and the cleanest Airbnb we have ever stayed in! We will be back and refer all our friends to stay at this mountain paradise!
Joe’s Tree Retreat
This house was exactly as described. It was easy to find and to get to. We enjoyed our stay very much. We took the kids to Banner Elk NC to ride the mountain coasters and to do gem mining. There are restaurants and grocery stores near by, so you don't have to drive far to get what you need. I would definitely recommend this home to friends and family. Joe was very responsive and very nice.
Cozy Country Log Cabin! NO cleaning or pet FEES!
Gene and Bunny’s cabin was perfection! Our hosts thought of everything we needed. The cabin was gorgeous and beautifully decorated. We especially loved the bear motif, sitting on the front porch and visiting the pond. We will be back next year for a longer stay!
Dreamy Storybook Cabin in the Woods
The cabin was set in the most peaceful little spot. We enjoyed our stay and our toddler loved the books and hanging out in the loft area. We already want to plan another trip!

We loved our stay at this peaceful, rustic cabin! It was exactly as described—cozy, well-equipped, and perfect for relaxing. The host was responsive and thoughtful, checking in after a storm and helping quickly with a keypad issue. Cooking breakfast in the cast-iron skillet was a highlight. We'd definitely stay again!

I enjoyed the stay. She had beautiful art work displayed in the house and I loved the decor. My son and I felt very safe a couple of evening we took walks in the neighborhood. Even though the place is located on a main street, it was a nice area to walk and enjoy the location.
Fox Den Retreat
Christy was more than a great super host. Not only does her place feel welcoming and cozy, but it was everything we needed for the couple nights we stayed. Perfect if you’re in JC for any events or need to get away and relax. She was very accommodating for us and quickly was able to solve our problem when we realized we needed to spend another night! I would definitely recommend if you looking for comfortable place to stay and return to when visiting!
Newly built home! *5 min to ETSU, VA, Downtown JC*
The house was super clean and easy to access with the provided directions. We felt safe in the area, and really enjoyed how peaceful it was. The house has a few quirks and feels dated in some ways, but it didn’t cause any issues and we were very comfortable. We would stay here again and hope to on our next visit to JC!
Charming Lakeside Cottage
This was a perfect weekend getaway! The privacy was amazing. The views were never ending. The cottage was immaculate and comfortable. If there were any issues, they were quick to respond. Definitely am going again. 10/10

I have stayed at this Airbnb numerous times while working in Johnson City. It is a good location, walkable to downtown, and close to campus, hospitals and the Tweetsie trail. It is clean and comfortable with good amenities and has actually gotten better and better with time! Catherine is a helpful and responsive host. Highly recommended.
Unique Historic Loft in Johnson City
The ambience was a vibe in itself! The decor was completely thought out with great detail, anything we had forgotten to pack seemed to be there for convenience (down to the packs of ketchup!) The location is great with lots of close restaurants & bars within short walkable distance. Also, my husband and I thought this would be a perfect place for a guys or girls weekend getaway with friends! We left highly impressed and we would hands down recommend this place to anyone!
