This cabin is such a gem for those looking for a sweet getaway for 2. The cabin is so cute and really does remind you of a birdhouse out in the woods! The glass ceiling bathroom really makes you feel like you are showering in the woods. We happened to be there during a full moon and the moonlight in the bathroom was amazing! The hot tub and deck area was such a lovely setting for hanging and cooking outside. We will be back!

We had such a wonderful stay at this beautiful, rustic getaway! The space was full of charm and character, perfectly blending comfort with a cozy, tucked-away vibe. Even though it was close to a main road for convenience, it felt completely private within its small, peaceful community. One of our favorite features was how dog-friendly the property was—our pups loved the access to the water and we appreciated the fenced in yard. It was also great to discover so many nearby dog-friendly restaurants and hiking trails, which made our days out easy and fun. The thoughtful amenities throughout the home really elevated our stay and made everything more comfortable and relaxing. We’d absolutely return and highly recommend it to anyone looking for a quiet, charming escape—especially if you’re traveling with a furry friend!

Very nice place to get away from it all, very private

The house was exactly as described in the listing. It was perfect for my family of four. We enjoyed the air hockey table and hot tub downstairs. The home was clean and quiet. The location was close to Blowing Rock, Boone, and the parkway. We were able to cook several meals with the kitchen utensils and appliances available. And the gas grill also came in handy. Gail prepared us for arrival and was very friendly and responded quickly to my questions. I highly recommend this home and will hopefully be back in the future!

5 stars all around. Beautiful and private spot, plenty of amenities, responsive host. All of us (2 adults, senior German Shepard and 4.5 year old) found something we enjoyed on this trip.

Cabin was found as described. Enjoyed the hot showers and comfortable bed (king). Unfortunately we had a rainy weekend stay, and wished that the hot tub was under an attached awning to keep the towels dry. Other than that we appreciated the thoughtful touches in the cabin, quiet neighborhood, the deer out back in the mornings, as well as the robin that knocked on sliding glass door for attention. Thank you for a lovely weekend.

Natasha’s cabin was awesome!! If you’re looking for a place that is rustic and peaceful while still having modern amenities, this place is perfect. The space is very private and peaceful, we felt very in touch with nature. The cabin was very clean and absolutely beautiful. The hot tub and clawfoot bath were both very fun to use. Using the wood burning stove on a chilly night made for a very cozy, relaxing night. We also loved how quiet it was sitting on the balcony in the mornings and evenings. While the cabin is down a very private, remote stone road you’re still within 30 minutes from every type of restaurant, winery, brewery, etc that you would ever need. Natasha was very friendly and quick to reply to messages. We would absolutely stay here again.

Had a great weekend in a magical spot.

We really enjoyed our stay in Linvelle Land Harbor. Matt and Catherine’s home was very clean and orderly. Matt instructions were clear and he was very responsive. Would stay there again!

Kirby was a great host. The place could not have been better. It exceeded my expectations. It has a retro feel and look, but is very clean and homey. All of us went away talking about how we would love to buy this place. Having a deck next to the river was awesome. A couple of the guests went for a swim and played in the water. It was cold but exhilarating. I would book this place again anytime. We visit Boone every year around this time, and this has been our favorite place so far. We have stayed in nicer, newer, and larger homes, but the value of this one cannot be overstated. The drive to the house was easy, although the street sneaks up on you. The neighborhood is flat and easy to walk. The streets are paved, and the home is on a level lot. There are just three steps to the entrance. It should be easy for most people to go up and down. The upstairs bedroom has a great view of the river. I would only add an upper deck for the second floor, looking out over the river.

My husband, my 4 year old son and I loved our stay at Louis’s place! The neighborhood is beautiful and the location is great - just a 15–20 minute drive to Boone and even closer to Grandfather Mountain State Park. We really enjoyed the fire pit and hot tub, with a view of the woods. I loved the two stories layout, it makes the space feel spacious. The kitchen is very pretty and well-equipped. Very clean!

Great cozy spot in Banner Elk! Only 15-20 minutes away from Boone. It was very nice being in the trees and hills. It was a great stay and I would recommend it to anyone who wants a cozy place close to Boone.

Very nice peaceful place, great for a family get together. 35 minutes to Boone. Beautiful home. We really enjoyed our time there. Would definitely recommend it. Host is very responsive.

This was our 2nd time staying. It gets better every time. The pool was new this year and what a great addition. Wish it would have been a little warmer while we were there but my niece still enjoyed it. The place itself is gorgeous and the view is mesmerizing!!! It is stocked with everything you could possibly need from games to kitchen needs. They even leave a thoughtful basket of goodies for the guests. The hot tub is the best relaxation and the couch is big and comfy to watch a good movie. Even checkout is simple and easy here. Austin is always nice and helpful with quick responses and is always a pleasure to stay with. The surrounding families at the bottom of the hill are so sweet, waving as you come and go. Really makes you feel at home! If you are looking for the perfect place to get away, hit the book button!!! Not one thing will disappoint! Can’t wait until we can have another Momma and girls get away here. ♥️

Our stay was wonderful. There was so much to do in the area that we were always kept busy, it was nice to have a place that felt like home to go back to. We loved that it was pet friendly and can’t wait to go back with the pets!

We stayed here during a hike of the Appalachian trail and we're able to get some much-needed rest. It's a small town that shuts down early so the smart TVs and internet were also great to have.

⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️ We had a wonderful stay at the Chicken Coop! The space was spotless, cozy, and thoughtfully stocked with everything we could possibly need. The attention to detail made us feel so welcomed and at home. Our kids especially loved the big open yard—it was perfect for play and enjoying the outdoors. The whole place had such a warm and inviting feel. We’ll definitely be back again!

We had a great time at Buttermilk Acres. The place is beautiful and a lovely get away into nature. The showers were awesome and bathroom was close to the cabin so going outside wasn’t a bother at all (even at 8 months pregnant!)

We had a lovely stay in Vilas at Lauren's cabin! We're some what local (Asheville area) and stole away for a long weekend for our 26th Anniversary. Lauren was great in helping us look for a restaurant for our anniversary dinner and helping us find a grocery store on our way in to the cabin. The cabin was as described, but even more beautiful! the downstairs master bedroom bed was so comfortable and there was a door that opened right to the gorgeous porch and to the hot tub. Little things like normal toilet paper, not the single ply stuff other air b&b's use, a great kitchen and a large walk in shower made this feel so luxurious. Definitely hope to come back again! The cabin really had the best of everything: It was quiet and private with the feel of being secluded in our own world while being just 15-20 minutes from everywhere we wanted to go. Thanks Lauren for helping us celebrate our anniversary in true, relaxing style!
