Kathy's is the ideal spot for folks who want to be close, but not too, to downtown for its activities and dining etc. We enjoyed at the end of the day, sitting on her deck and just watching the lake and mountains. Clean and well kept, the house is very livable. We'll certainly look to see if Kathy's is available when next we visit Anchorage.

Joanna’s place was exactly as described & just what we were looking for. We’re from Anchorage & walking around Lake Hood is one of our favorite things to do - lots of Alaska bush planes taking off, landing, & parked in slips. Yet Joanna’s place was very quiet inside. Hope to stay again

Very comfortable. There was a big construction work going on all around the place, but it didn't much disturb us. It's incredible that the airport close to the place doesn't disturb at all.

Wonderful, welcoming and helpful host! Everything was clean. They even had breakfast items left for us. So accommodating! And very close to the airport and restaurants in town.

We loved Kristofer and Tiffany’s place! It’s a nice quiet neighborhood yet close to everything. The off street parking is appreciated. The beautiful flower baskets on the porch and fresh flowers on the counter made it feel very welcoming. The house is quite comfortable and well stocked. The views of the lake were a nice treat! The kitchen is large and has everything you need. The beds were very comfortable and made with nice quality linens, bonus points! A couple simple requests at check out kept things from being too complicated. We had a lovely stay here and would stay again 😊

Our family had a great stay at Ken's place! He was a very attentive host. With a son in the Air Force, this was our first Christmas together in several years and Ken provided us with a Christmas tree. The house has everything we needed; well stocked kitchen, two large bathrooms, and plenty of living space to spread out. The house feels nicely lived in with books, games, and toys appropriate for adults and children. We spent many nights playing board games at the large dining table. The location is a quiet neighborhood with great mountain views and close to everything; town, shopping, main roads. We even got a lucky view of the Northern Lights from the back porch! I would love to come back in the summer to relax on the deck, look at the mountains, cook on the grill, and watch for animals. Thanks for a wonderful stay Ken!

I had my team of Biologists stay here for 7 days. Great living space, plenty of room in the driveway and garage which we used for our boats and gear. Host took great care of us and was very responsive. The neighborhood was safe and friendly. We would absolutely stay here again and will look for availability of this house on all future stays.

Everything was beyond expectations! The home was beautiful, views exceptional, plenty to do even for children. Large enough so everyone had their privacy & space. I would definitely rent this home again!

Lovely place! Linda and Rick were so friendly and helpful. They are experts of surrounding exploration and fishing. They provided a lot of useful information touring around Anchorage. 100% recommend!

Lynette's home is very cozy and well appointed. The king bed is more comfortable than my Sleep Number at home! We will most certainly look for this home again when we return to Anchorage. Thank you for a wonderful stay.

The house was as described and had everything we needed. Our family was so happy with the abundance of blankets! The home was clean with many odds and ends like zip locs, seasonings and various other things you really hate buying on short trips! But, you have too as they're needed. There were lots of games! Wish we had more time; we were set to have fun! This trip was to lay our son to rest. Though it was an emotional and difficult time, Kaye made it easier with her hospitality. She kept in communication and was very simple with her processes. I hope to return one day soon with the family and make beautiful memories at her home. We cleaned and reset as best we could. Donna's place was the 20th time I've booked with Airbnb and it was the BEST place I've ever stayed at. The pictures are exactly the same as in person. It's located in a quiet setting tucked away from the hustle and bustle. We saw a moose during our stay. The decor fits the ambiance above and beyond. We utilized the kitchen for breakfast (frying pans), coffee (mugs, k cups and ground coffee stocked for consumption), and some dinners (several pot options, plates, bowls, silverware, glasses). The massive fridge, freezer, stovetop, oven and microwave worked well. The bathroom was stocked with shampoo, conditioner, body wash, hand soap, q tips, towels and washcloths. The beds were comfortable. There were several blankets throughout the space. We did a few loads of laundry via the washer and dryer which was perfect. I loved putting on the fireplace and relaxing in the cozy living space. This place didn't feel like we were guests but rather that this was our home away from home.

John place was just as described, we felt right at home. John is a nice host and responded right away. Location was great in the middle of town close to a lot of places that we went to. I would definitely stay again.

Book it if you can. This place is perfect. There are sounds from an above unit but they did disrupt us. Great layout. And super lil coffee bar. Really quiet. Safe. And comfortable place.

What a beautiful place to rest your head and warm up from exploring Anchorage. Ron's place is tucked away, private with mountain views and abundance of green. Loved seeing nature up close and the loved the being nesteld in the space, warm and cozy as a storm roll thru.

Lucky (the dog) and I had a great stay here! we were greeted with an accommodating quick tour of the place which was stocked with ammennities. Great cozy location, highly recommend!!

Amy's Airbnb was exactly as described. The bed was very comfortable and the location peaceful and quiet yet only 20 minutes to downtown Anchorage. I arrived late so I was so happy that she provided coffee and creamer so I could have coffee in the morning. Of all the Airbnbs that I have stayed in all over the world, Amy's home has the best view! When you look out the front windows you can see the inlet and mountains in the distance. I took a tons of great pictures! Amy was always very responsive whenever I had any questions. I highly recommend this Airbnb and wouldn't hesitate to book another stay on my next trip to Anchorage.
