Farmstay vacation rentals in Jackson County

This was a dog-friendly "cabin" that was also a place I'd absolutely consider and recommend even if you don't have dogs. The location is basically a small cabin off of the host's house, and has every typical amenity of a home except for a washer/dryer. The kitchen was well stocked with dishes, appliances, even some non-perishable food items and spices. There was fast and free internet. And Patricia was proactive and responsive in communicating with us about our check-in and the readiness of the unit. The place and the host were both great. Thank you!

We liked staying at the house in which actually the family was living. We felt as if we were welcomed as their family guest. The culture was akin to mine. The artisan wood floor and ceiling made a huge difference on our spirit. Very beautiful house!

This place is literally a little piece of paradise. We spent a bit of time talking with Lisa and found her charming and truly a pleasure. As for the room, as a former hotel manager, I often find that I am put off by the cleanliness of places I stay. In all honesty, this is the cleanest room I have ever stayed in. This place is a treasure. We highly recommend this place!

Wonderful place to stay for a short vacation. Close to everything with beautiful views of the valley. The airstream was cozy and warmed up nicely in the cold weather. Had most everything we needed and was clean. The bed was comfortable. Would recommend, especially if you are accustomed to staying in tiny spaces.

This place is an experience! Coyotes howling at night, farm animals out the window, beautiful fog and wonderful hosts. The drive is a little hairy and far out, but totally worth it. If you’re a light sleeper, be wary of farm dogs that bark all night. Didn’t bother us, but we woke up a few times. We will absolutely book again when coming to Ashland!

What a beautiful place right on a vineyard. Loved all of the seating around the house and property. The room was nice and comfy. We didn’t make food but it looked as though everything was there. The family who owns the vineyard were so sweet and hospitable. Would definitely rebook for another trip!!!

My wife and I loved this place. Very private, quiet, and in a fantastically clean and peaceful neighborhood. Close to Ashland and gateway to Crater Lake and Southern Oregon. Stephanie is a fantastic person who goes out of her way to ensure your stay is a pleasant one. Loved her dog BB too! This place is a Price Performer. Highly recommended!

I’ve stayed at tons of Air BnB’s over the years and Dorothy’s place is one of the best! Any issues or questions that came up were answered promptly and kindly! Beautiful house on a beautiful property. Would definitely stay again in the future.

Peaceful, comfortable home in a beautiful setting. Virginia was responsive and left clear instructions…plus delicious cookies and a vase of stunning peonies to greet us. My family loved the games and puzzles, corn hole and frisbee. The scent of lavender in the house was so nice…everything was as advertised; lovely stay!

We had a great stay for the 2 months we were here. The view was absolutely magical. It was peaceful, and calm. We had no issues and TT was great. She was responsive and helpful. Everything was listed just like the description. Everything was clean and stocked for what we needed. This place is the perfect spot to come and relax and enjoy the view and the beautiful nature surrounding this place. I would definitely recommend this place to anyone and hope we can come back soon.

Lovely cottage within a cute winery. We were only there for one night but we had a great stay, bought some wine and charcuterie plate and enjoyed the view from the garden. Would definitely return!

Our young family loved this special place out in the woods of Oregon - so peaceful & stunning scenery. Krista was an awesome host - answering our many Qs. The house was really comfortable, clean & had everything we needed. We were very cosy in the cold weather with a beautiful fire & internal heating throughout. The 2 king beds were SO COMFORTABLE - we all slept really well. Our young kids loved feeding the goats, chickens & ducks. Us adults enjoyed the walks up and down the local road. A few nice stores close by & also Jacksonville which had everything & we really liked, an easy 25min drive. We really loved this place & would like to return. Thanks Krista & your family. Beautiful home , great space to stay with friends and family… we stayed at the end of March . Wish our trip would have brought us here in the Summer months with everything in bloom . Would have loved to have used the pool !

This place is a gem! It was very close to Medford, Talent, and Ashland, quiet, peaceful, clean, cozy furnishings, easy to reach, well-equipped, and very close to Medford airport and I-5. What more could you want?

There are only positives. The house is clean, spacious, beautifully appointed with everything you could need. As others say, the on-demand coffee maker & the imported Swiss beans make for an easy, delicious coffee experience. The beds are comfortable. The showers have plenty of pressure & hot water. You can take a short walk to see chickens, llamas, donkeys, horses & a pond. It is a working farm. We saw hay baling. The backyard has plenty of seating for either sun or shade. Take that cup of coffee out to the Adirondack chairs & get some morning sun. We attended a family wedding in Jacksonville. A very cute town that is maybe a 5 min drive. This is the best of both worlds, close to a town but the quiet of the country. The house fit 4 adults & an 11 year old boy quite comfortably.

Nathan & Drew are great hosts. Drew was very hospitable, friendly, welcoming and interesting to talk to. The dogs and chickens were fun too. Beautiful location and functional, unique cabin. I had some issues with the wifi and washer while there, but Drew was very responsive and helpful on any issues that came up. Best host ever!

We loved this stay! Connie was super communicative and flexible with our situation. The house is massive and has tons of space for all to sleep and be without bumping into one another. The bathrooms are spacious and the kitchen is a really great space to make a family meal. We spent several nights on the deck/patio, just outside the spacious family room, watching the sunset and using the BBQ. It was really nice to get just outside of town and be in the peace and quiet with a tremendous view of all sides of the valley.

Valisatie’s house was even better than we expected despite all the good reviews. She was very communicative and updated pictures to show the current layout. 9 of us stayed and weren’t lacking for anything—and the kitchen was the best stocked one we’ve ever stayed in!

We really liked the farm animals , as did our 5 yr old. Royce gave us a personal tour of the farm and let our Bea hold one of the bunnies. The farm was close to Ashland, yet peaceful and private. Both Royce and Gloria were very personable and friendly. The accommodations were clean and comfortable. We would recommend the Mini Farm!

A tranquil setting, magnificent surroundings, beautiful house, and Elizabeth and Richard are particularly gracious hosts: what more can I say? My daughter and son appreciated easy access to Mt Ashland Ski Area only 15 miles away. Can’t wait to come back again. Pierre

The house Is very nicely furnished and well stocked with kitchen essentials. Communication with Kristina was easy and efficient. Check-in/check-out was very easy. This is a great spot to not only enjoy the Hummingbird Estate wines, but to make the rounds of the many wineries in the area. We would not hesitate to rent again when in Jacksonville—which is a great, friendly town.
