Vacation rentals with beach access in Jackson County

They went far and above their requirements as a host, I made a booking error for the wrong dates and the graciously refunded my full amount, this would have been the second visit to their cottage and it truly is an amazing rental, thank you again Danny

Where do we even begin? From the moment we arrived, it felt like staying with long-lost relatives who actually like you. The place was spotless, beautifully decorated, and stocked with thoughtful touches that screamed, ‘We’re overachievers, but in a good way.’ The hosts went above and beyond in ways that felt almost suspicious. We opened the fridge to find bubbly waiting for us (are we royalty now?), and there were chocolates on the counter like they somehow knew our love language. As if that wasn’t enough, we spent an unforgettable evening soaking in the hot tub while it snowed, overlooking the most serene lake view we’ve ever seen. It was like being in a Hallmark movie but without the small-town drama. Every detail was so thoughtful, from the cozy blankets to the recommendations that made us feel like locals. This wasn’t just a stay; it was an experience we’ll be talking about for years. If you’re considering booking, do it. Just don’t book the weekend we want to come back, okay?

I had no issues upon arrival entering the space. Easy, clear cut directions. Space is clean, tidy and perfect for a weekend getaway. Hot tub was nice with a great view of the lake. I felt comfortable staying here. I would visit again.

We were looking for a private place to take a retreat-like day away from home and this was perfect! The yurt and outhouse were very clean and the beds were super comfy. Bonnie met us there as we checked in and showed us around; she is very friendly. We would definitely stay again!

What a great find! Comfortable house on a lake (Wamplers) just 45 minutes from home in Ann Arbor! Easily accommodated 4 grandkids (10,8,5,3) and my son and I. "Bunk room" was perfect for the 3 older siblings. We loved the upstairs double showers. Very well supplied kitchen and very ample supply of towels. The game/toy cupboard was a big hit. The house felt safe for kids to be at ease, while also having them be respectful of the property. We happily used the grill for a dinner. Though the temperature was on the cool side for summer, the kids still spent plenty of time at the beach. We took the Dairy Bar suggestion seriously and had ice cream every night!! We're so happy that Layne accommodated our family. We were grateful to be able to check in early. A great place for an end of summer vacation for "Nana Camp"!

What a gem! This beautiful tiny house is so charming, private and peaceful. My husband and I felt right at home l, and enjoyed the beautiful lake view! It was exceptionally clean and free of clutter. Easy to find and close to town, but yet feels very serene. Thanks again! Hoping to be back sometime.

Samantha was available and friendly upon our arrival. Her children were also very respectful, polite and helpful. They played with my kids, took us on a hike and gave great recommendations that we didn’t have time to do! The tree house was fun and cozy. Perfect for young kids, or a younger couple who are up for friendly neighbors that give you space if you want it, or hang out for a good time if you welcome it. My kids had a blast playing with Samantha’s family and our dog Fergus and their dog Max fell in love. Fergus was free to roam and explore the woods with Max as his guide. I felt extremely welcome here and can’t wait to come back and continue exploring the woods and the lakes with our new friends! I can’t say enough about how pleasant this was. We were plenty prepared with toiletries and food, but she was happy to provide condiments, water, and other snacks. She also shared her most recent moral haul with us and cooked them in a way I’d never tried. This place is a gem

Great place, lots of light.

My husband and I picked Patricia’s place because of the fun game room she had downstairs-and I’m sure glad we did! Our family of 6 had a wonderful time playing pool, air hockey, shuffle board, ping pong and PINBALL!!! There was also a nice quiet study room upstairs where the kids could still participate in their online classes without missing a beat. Every space was so beautifully decorated and spacious it really felt peaceful. We were visiting in the winter so the cozy propane fireplace was a hit as well. I’d definitely recommend staying here!
