This rustic and cozy cabin sits on our 5 acre parcel in the cloud forest above Kona town on the Big Island, called Kaloko Mauka. It has it's own private little corner of the property, complete with secluded hot tub, yard and large lanai perfect for the bbq! One king bed in the studio, best for 2-3 adults. Loft can suit a child or two 8 years and older or another adult. There is a fold out futon with extra bedding and pillows. Loft railing is not completely protected for children under 8.

When you need or want complete relaxation with your own private waterfalls, pools and ocean view stay at Horses and Waterfalls and enjoy Hawai’i style country living at its best! During your stay I highly recommend the Papaaloa Country Store and Restaurant just down the road. They have great pizza and fresh locally grown foods and local style menu. Love Kona farm life *Superstar Truss Cabin!

If you like nature and animals, come and enjoy our hobby farm! It's glamping in a tiny house with the incredible view. (It is a farm, not a hotel) The loft bed with ladder as picture shown. Screened/no windows so you can enjoy breeze and view. Cute living room and big shower/restroom down stairs. Patio with outdoor grill and sink. Beautiful sunset and infinity sea/sky line from the bedroom. Galaxy and shooting stars at the night. About 20mins from many beaches, and downtown.

Hale 'Alalā is named after the highly endangered hawaiian crow whose reintroduction efforts have been focused on the forests around Volcano. While there are no longer any Alalā living in the wild, you can see a pair of live Alalā just down the road at the Panaewa Zoo (free admission).

Peaceful Private Rainforest Getaway

This little cabin is so cozy, it's like your home away from home. You will find most everything you will need while staying here. It's tucked away in the trees with a National Park right in the back yard! You'll wish you could stay longer! Please be sure to read the entire description of the listing so there are no surprises. Babies under 9 months are welcome ( pack and play is available). There is only one bed so there's no accommodations for children older than that.
