Family-friendly vacation rentals in Irondequoit

We have a large group that takes a yearly trip to a different state. We had to change the date & location at the last minute. We found this place & loved it. It fit our large group perfectly, & it was definitely more fun than staying in separate hotel rooms. The view of the lake was wonderful. The host, Pete, was very quick in responding to any questions. We would definitely come here again.

5th time staying here. Fabulous place to stay! Walkable distance to food places. Only con was bathtub was a little dirty.

Rented Lizzie's cabin for a guy's weekend with old college friends. Check-in was super easy, cabin was clean and had all the needed supplies (sheets, ample towels, kitchen wares, etc.). Had an issue with the cable TV which Lizzie responded to in minutes and was able to help us clear up the issue so that we wouldn't miss any of the weekend football games. Overall a quiet and peaceful place near a lot of good breweries. We would definitely stay again. Thank you!

We had a good stay at Amy's. She was very responsive and proactive. Her place was homey, clean, and kitchen was stocked with essentials. Although street was busy, we had private parking and a great backyard so it wasn't an issue. Neighborhoods around the house were lovely for walking as was the county park trails that were conveniently located close by. Thanks for sharing your home Amy!

It was a lovely Airbnb…just like the pictures Depicted. It was well stocked except that you need to bring your own soap for the shower. There are plenty of brand stores on Monroe Ave. if your need to purchase anything. Location is perfect and very convenient. Will definitely return again when visiting Rochester.

We stayed with extended family at this beautiful lake house for my daughter’s RIT graduation. It was the perfect place for us to hang out, entertain and celebrate her accomplishments. The common rooms were spacious which made it nice for conversations. The view of the lake was better than the photos. Everyone loved it.

Lewis was amazing to work with and the place was spotless and beyond convenient. Very spacious. I would book again if I needed to be in that neighborhood. Great for college graduation.

My husband, 5-year-old pup and I loved staying at Trina’s place! It was so cozy, beautifully decorated, super close drive to downtown Roc, and had everything we needed for our stay — including a lush, fenced in backyard and porch we loved relaxing on. Trina was so proactive and helpful which we deeply appreciate in a host. We would absolutely return next time we’re in the area!

This was my sister and my second time staying at Roger's AirBNB. We purposely returned for the wonderful hosting, convenience, access to great parks, museums, and family nearby. This time we stayed on the first floor which was beautiful and homey. The surrounding neighbors were friendly and I loved walking my dogs and chatting with them everyday. Roger is a fantastic host - always responsive, a gentleman, and professional. He was flexible with our wish to return this year for which we are grateful. We will definitely consider returning again.

Lovely home in the heart of Pittsford. It was perfect for our family of 5. We walked to the Dairy, along the canal and to local restaurants (shout out to Fattoush). It had everything we needed. There was even a record player which we really enjoyed. We have an EV but didn't bring the correct adaptor but luckily Pittsford has Chargepoint chargers one block away. Our son attends RIT, so we will be back.

We loved the space and the location. We were able to enjoy the beautiful back yard, grill, and activities in the basement (video games, pool, and table tennis) with family and friends. Plenty of space to celebrate our graduate. The kitchen had everything we needed to cook our favorite dishes. The host was very gracious and aimed to ensure that we had a great experience. A beautiful home that was the icing on our visit to Rochester, NY.

Great parking. Communication was top notch. The place was clean and warm. Gina and her husband made it feel like home, responded immediately and there was nothing missing. The bathroom was very clean and the bed comfortable. The appliances were high end and the kitchen was stocked with a variety of teas and coffee and plenty of paper products. It’s private, quiet and secure. Not only was she responsive, she went above and beyond to call and see if there was anything else we needed. Also, when not on the property, let us know if we did need something , she was close and could drive back. The location is central to everything you’d want to see like the lilacs that people from all over come to enjoy, our downtown falls and many parks and lakes to name a few. All necessary things like stores, gas stations and coffee stores are within a mile. A five star rating isn’t enough for people who go out of their way to make you feel so comfortable. My husband and I highly recommend Gina’s place.

The place is old, but in beautiful condition. It was a very convenient location for us meeting with local family in the area and close to downtown and the zoo. Unfortunately the weather was still not summertime and the pool was not yet open. We'll have to come back when it's warmer. Plenty of extras in the kitchen. Mark went the extra mile and provided a spare propane tank for the grill, which was a lifesaver, as we had invited family members over and had a full rack of hamburgers and hotdogs to cook.

This was our second visit to Esten-Wahl Farm and a second standout experience. We had family and friends visit us there and they all felt the same way.
