Vacation rentals with a fire pit in Houston County

My family and I had a wonderful overnight stay here. The place was very welcoming and felt like staying at a friend's or family member's home. Lights were left on for us to come into so that made it feel cozy, we had a hand written note with snacks, and the fall decorations were so nice. So many things stocked in the kitchen to use, definitely a great place to stay, we wish we had more time. We hope to be able to come again!

Beth’s listing is one of the best Airbnb‘s. I have stayed in yet. It looked exactly like the pictures plus there were so many cute little extras. Towels and mints set out on the bed. A cute little hot cocoa and coffee bar in the kitchen, and stocked waters in the fridge, plus snacks at the front door when you walk in. The bathroom had all the amenities which helped to not have to pack extra things like shampoo and conditioner and blow dryers that take up a lot of room in your travel bag. The beds were comfortable and the living area was also very comfortable. Everything was very clean and decorated very Cute. It was an easy and nice drive to downtown which was only about 1 mile away. This was very nice because the neighborhood we were in was very calm and peaceful and we felt very safe. We only wish the weather would’ve been a little nicer so we could’ve enjoyed the cute backyard area with the bonfire. If we come back to the lacrosse area, we will definitely be staying at Beth’s Airbnb

Fantastic spot for our group of friends. Plenty of bedrooms, space, huge open kitchen that flows into big living room and nice dining room table. 2 decks and a hottub with fantastic views and stargazing. Close to genoa for easy gas, miscellaneous items and some bars and close enough to viroqua and lacrosse for restauarants/etc. super clean and well stocked. Would recommend for any group looking to experience a great time in the driftless.

very nice place comfortable any thing you needed away from home was there! was clean nice veiw of lake ( coffee pot) needs to be updated. Theresa was awesome as a host! made everything comfortable. For a nice get away. would recommend any time!! would book again forsure. thank you for having us.

We stay here twice a year. Absolutely love it. Works great for someone who can't do stairs well with one downstairs bedroom. Always has everything you need in kitchen. Well stocked bathrooms. Recommended 💯

If you look at my history you will see I have stayed at John’s home many times and they are extended stays. John continues to improve the property. It is a beautiful fishing/hunting cottage in my favorite town. John is a great host.

We loved staying at Larry's place. It was pretty simple but had everything we needed. We enjoyed having the huge tub to relax in after a long day of biking. I would not hesitate to come back again.

We have been staying here for 2 years and call it home! The view and privacy can't be beat! Right on the river with an outdoor patio and sliding glass door to enjoy the views from outside and inside. Basic kitchen amenities, exactly what we need. Comfortable bed with extra pillows and blankets. Always very clean, clutter free, and welcoming. Can't wait for our next stay.

Thank you Corinna and Mike for an awesome stay at Red Pines! Because I had to stay in Onalaska for 1 month, I had the opportunity to stay in their lodging twice. Both stays were amazing! Not only were the units so clean and well managed, but the owners are extremely friendly and quick to communicate. During my stay, they even changed to electronic door locks which make it even more convenient for guests to enter and exit the home. Not to mention, Red Pines Restaurant was a great alternative to at home meals! They also have a new cafe right below the lodging so that is open right before work! There is plenty of parking and the lake is absolutely beautiful at sunset. Everything about my stay was amazing! Thank you!

We needed to book a place at the last minute because the other airbnb owner where our family had book changed their policy the week of our trip from pet-friendly to NO PETS. We have a puppy and had to either cancel the trip or find another location. Laurie's place is dog-friendly and adorable! It was a lovely place to stay during our annual family trout fishing trip to NE Iowa in the area northeast of Decorah. Laurie and her husband were delightful and friendly. We will definitely come back!

We have stayed here before and loved it! Very nice location: walkable to grocery store, local bars and restaurants and our family just down the block. The space is very comfortable and well stocked kitchen. Very quiet, which is important to me. We definitely will stay again!

The accommodations at Daryl and Norma Jean’s are peaceful and the setting is beautiful. The entire space is immaculate, uncluttered, and comfortable. Decorah has several interesting places to visit, and some good restaurants. We enjoyed our stay very much.

If you’re looking for a peaceful, private getaway from your daily life, this is the place to go. It is tranquil as can be and you’ll feel refreshed and renewed after a couple days at this beautiful cabin. Had everything you need to cook, has A/C and even fast WiFi with a smart tv! Been here 2 times so far and it’s been the best choice twice in a row!

The cabin is cozy for four people. Selection of magazines to browse that offer ideas of local activities. Outside outlet helpful for our plugin car. Heat is adjustable. Clean with wonderful accessories on the walls that capture the hunting/fishing theme. Games under counter. Access to streaming. Strong wifi. Quiet which was lovely. Owls hooting. Stars. A lovely stay.

Beautiful Air BNB in the heart of the drift-less area. The cabin was clean and had good air conditioning for our stay during the hot weekend. We enjoyed visiting with the local cats that visited our cabin.
