House vacation rentals in Hood River

William’s house is nestled between Sandy and ZigZag in a quiet neighborhood a stone’s throw from an easy hiking trail and the river. It was a good place to come back to after exploring other mount hood offerings. 10 minutes to the grocery store, 20 minutes to ski bowl. It’s a clean, well-designed space. The kitchen is stocked full of tools, which made cooking a breeze. Beds are comfortable with lots of blankets to snuggle into. The hosts were accommodating and communicative.

We had a ladies trip. We loved that there was plenty of room in the home and a bed for each of us. We had a grocery pick up from Fred Meyers in Sandy, OR and packed a cooler for the cold food items. Made all of our meals there. The kitchen has everything you need to prepare meals. Plenty of spices. Brought our own because we did not know what they had there. Walked to the resort pool one day to enjoy the sunshine. ( easy walk on the road…the neighbor said that it’s dangerous to walk on the path in the golf course while people are golfing). Wish we could have stayed longer. Very peaceful and relaxing!

Kelli was super helpful when we had some bumps along the road she did everything she can to fix it. She was respectful and understanding when responding to our messages. The home was nicely decorated and not over the top. The home had everything you need to make it comfortable. The house was clean and put together.

We truly loved our stay and be happy to return. The house is clean, the deck is lovely, the location on the river is perfect, and the hot tub was relaxing. Wonderful stay and highly recommended!

I was looking for a house that had a cabin feel & ran into Jeff & Jodi’s place. It was definitely what we were looking for. Cabin feel that accommodated a group of 6. The house was very clean & surrounded near multiple places we wanted to hike on this trip. Jeff & Jodi were flexible with a very late check in as well. Will definitely recommend for those who are looking for a cabin feel where the internet is week to unplug!

Great spot! The house was clean, had lots of upgrades, and had really nice showers. the backyard is beautiful and peaceful. The kitchen was well stocked and there's a grocery store about 5 minutes away to grab stuff for dinner. If you're looking for a quiet getaway, this is a good one!

I had a great stay at Kevin & Lisa's lovely home. The house was nicely decorated and had everything I needed for my stay. The views from the nearby overlook are fantastic and from different points in the city you can see Mt. Hood and Mt. Adams and they are magnificent. Kevin & Lisa were very quick to respond and easy to work with. I would 100% stay here again.

My family and I stayed here over thanksgiving weekend and it was the perfect getaway! The location was very peaceful and quiet. The home felt very clean and taken care of. You will not regret staying here!

What an amazing house! The craftsmanship in the construction was impressive and the open floor plan of the main floor was awesome.

Where to even begin!!! Gretchen’s place was an absolute DREAM. We had the most magical time during our stay, and the river was so peaceful as a backdrop for everything. All of the amenities were as shown, but we were bummed we didn’t get to try out the pizza oven, just didn’t have enough time! I’m sure we will be back soon to get another shot at it :) The neighbors were friendly, and the home was easy to find. Easy access to get in. Absolutely zero issues with it all. Simply amazing!!! Bruce's home was beautiful, well-equipped, and matched the description and photos perfectly. I would highly recommend for anyone wanting to stay in the area. Bruce was responsive for all questions.

A wonderful stay, as soon as we got there we felt right at home. Very close to portland and other cities; hiked, walked around the city, went to distilleries, there is a bunch of stuff to do around! Very kind and responsive host!

Wow! This place was everything I hoped it would be. The house itself was beautifully appointed with a full kitchen and everything we could possibly need. It was cozy and clean, and the natural surroundings were stunning! We made good use of the hot tub and the fireplace. Truly, it was a perfect spot for a winter retreat.

Great place in Hood River. James was super helpful. He stopped by the place to show us around. He shared lots of amazing local restaurants. The place is a gem.

Our family had an amazing holiday here- the location was beautiful, thoughtful details like coffee pods, extra blankets, instructions and more made our family time together enjoyable. The bedrooms were perfect and the hot tub and fire pit by the river was a hit. We highly recommend!

We had an incredible stay at Michael and Paula’s place! The view was absolutely breathtaking, with the Columbia River and Mount Hood providing a stunning backdrop that we never got tired of admiring. The amenities were top-notch and exactly as described in the listing. We especially enjoyed the sauna, relaxing hot tub, cozy gas fireplace, and the wonderful massage chair—they really added a luxurious touch to our stay. The beds were super comfortable, and there was plenty of space and linens for everyone. The living room area was another highlight—spacious and cozy, with great couches that made it perfect for lounging and spending time together. Michael and Paula were fantastic hosts, and their home is a true gem. Michael was always very responsive and kind during all of our interactions. Highly recommend staying here for anyone looking for a relaxing and memorable getaway!

We had a peaceful, restful stay at Stephanie’s place. We were able to watch two beautiful sunsets and a sunrise, walk on little trails, and have great views right from her property. Her place was spotlessly clean, quiet, and private yet very close to hiking and biking trails. We plan to return in the spring when the wildflowers bloom. What a wonderful stay!

The house was very comfortable; spacious; offered guests a variety of seating areas (inside and out); very relaxing; felt like being home. The neighborhood was quiet; could even hear the crickets! The house amenities met guests needs. The kitchen was well appointed with cooking needs. One guest said the coffee maker made some "good coffee". The home is well situated for touring the area; nothing was too far away. Shops, restaurants, wineries were easily accessible.

We recently stayed at this Airbnb, and I can’t recommend it highly enough! From the moment we arrived, we were blown away by the breathtaking views. The space was spotless and well-organized and the thoughtful amenities made our stay even more enjoyable. Hope to come back soon!

We loved this home and the adorable town of Mosier! It’s in a quiet small town - which was part of the appeal for us. It was the perfect retreat at the end of a long day of hiking. The home & kitchen was well stocked. The view was amazing rain or shine. We really looked forward to ending our day in the hot tub or by the fireplace. Spotted a couple deer just off the deck one afternoon:). Nearby coffee shop and market was very convenient. Hiking within walking distance with beautiful views. And a short distance to Hood River - a fun town with some great restaurants (Kickstand was one of our favorites). It was an amazing week and we would gladly come back!! So much to see in this beautiful area.

Dave & Kathy’s home is gorgeous with an even better view. I stayed with a group of six friends, and we thoroughly enjoyed the clean, luxurious accommodations. Treat yourself! We would all love to come back for a visit!

Sarah was a great host. She was responsive and helpful before and during our stay. We had infants with us and the house was perfect for our families! We especially appreciated the toys and the ability to accommodate our check in/out needs. The house is in a great location and walkable to many cute places including an incredible park that our kids loved!
