Cottage vacation rentals in Hood River

This house is amazing. It is an architectural feat and beautiful inside and out. We enjoyed talking about the house and enjoying the uniqueness of it. The surroundings are beautiful. The hot tub was great. We had deer visitors outside the window. It was a wonderfully relaxing time.

Wow 10/10! Our stay at the cabin was nothing short of magical. Super private and surrounded by the most beautiful old growth forest and river. We spent most of our time outside in the hot tub or sitting around the two outdoor fireplaces. The sound of the rushing river was so relaxing. We plan on making this an annual vacation destination.

The home was exactly as pictured and what we were looking for. It was extremely clean and had everything we needed. It was a quick 30 minute drive up to Timberline for some snowboarding and then coming back after a long day and getting into the hot tub was perfect. The downstairs bed was super comfortable too! The smallest suggestion would be a nightlight for the room because it is super dark and I personally don’t love the pitch black but like I said, super small detail. We ended up just turning the laundry room light on and closing that door so some light peaked in. There was a binder with home expectations and clear check out instructions which I really appreciated. Raylene was super communicative before our stay and check in was super easy. Overall so amazing and perfect, I would definitely stay again!!

I chose the little red getaway on the Sandy river for several reasons; location and the age of the cottage. I’m drawn to older cabins in the mountains so I can re-live parts of my childhood. Your cottage met all of my criteria and it did not disappoint. You’ve kept the original charm and character and blended seamlessly with new features. You hit it out of the ballpark for me. It’s in a perfect location. There is quiet and solitude and the neighbors couldn’t be seen or heard. The river is an exceptional bonus! We enjoyed the listening to the river from the hot tub and our bonfire. We also explored along the bank avoiding private property. Your home is kid friendly, spacious and cozy and we didn’t want for anything else. You’ve provided all of the basics and then some, including, coffee, tea, sugar, flour, spices, oil and every appliance you can imagine. Had a great stay at Morgan's cottage. The location is great and the surroundings are gorgeous. The cottage is cozy but plenty of space for 3-4 people for a long weekend. Excellent communication from the host. Would definitely stay here again.

For my little family of four this place was awesome! Enough space and personal tough for our boys (2) and (9) to create some core memories for life. The expanse of the property with the trail to the creak was definitely a fan favorite. The dog loved to take his daily walk up and down to the water. We’ll definitely be staying here in the future when we visit family.

My teenage daughter and I needed a quiet, peaceful and cozy place to just relax and re-set. This home and location was perfect. The home is set up very comfortably. My daughter loved the hanging "basket-style" chair. I loved the fireplace! We both enjoyed the wooded location with the creek running in the back yard, often leaving the patio door open so we could hear it, or sitting at the table on the deck. The beds were quite comfortable. We snuggled in and felt quite content! Jennifer was very quick to respond to all communications.

A home in paradise! Klickitat is stunning, with the house super close to the river. The setting is incredibly peaceful, making it the perfect escape. We stayed for two months, and during that time, we got to know the friendly locals at the bar and our wonderful neighbors. The home was well-equipped with everything we needed, and the king-size bed was incredibly comfortable. Highly recommend for anyone looking to relax and get away from the city!

This place has become an yearly tradition for me. Was my 5th time staying here and absolutely love my stay every time. Erin continues to keep the space very clean and the little house is beautiful and has a lot of amenities. We managed to hangout on the last day of my stay and its always fun. If you're looking for a place with zero light pollution for stargazing, this also makes an awesome venue for that with 180 degree view of the skies. I enjoyed getting a glimpse of some meteor shower and surprise northern lights. Highly recommend this place and the farmstay.

I can’t say enough how amazing this place is. The feeling of peace and tranquility was beyond anything I have felt before. Christy was a friendly and helpful host while Walt was out of town. It was a wonderful place for our weekend away. We will be back ♥️

Stayed in this beautiful cabin over Christmas with my family. The home was absolutely perfect! The host is incredibly responsive and friendly. Very relaxing and peaceful space. Turned out to be a beautiful spot for an unexpected Christmas engagement as well ❤️🎄 Would definitely stay here again. Thanks so much!
