Myself and my family had an absolutely wonderful stay at Mathew’s place in Herald Island. The location was really good with it only taking 20mins to Auckland CBD and with stunning scenery and peaceful surroundings that made it the perfect getaway. The house was thoughtfully prepared, with everything we needed for a comfortable and relaxing visit. Mathew was a brilliant host! I highly recommend this stay to anyone looking to stay in the surrounding Auckland area and would love to return in the future.

On arrival the house was very welcoming. Cathy has thought of everything, catering for everyone! The kitchen is stocked with everything basic you need. Being able to make a cup of tea was absolutely fantastic after having a long trip. The bedrooms were good, beds and pillows were comfy, bathrooms clean, amazing pressure in the showers and even face cloths provided (not something you regularly find). We went to a concert at Eden Park while staying there, Uber was $10 but afterwards with wanting to avoid being stuck in traffic, we did an easy 40 minute walk. Very accessible location to getting to Queen St too, restaurants etc. Cathy is a great host and I never had any issues with having to wait long for a response. It was a lovely stay and would stay again.

The whole place was clean and worth the price. The beds especially were really comfy! Would recommend anyone to stay here.

We enjoyed our stay thanks. Character property, good central location - close to St Luke’s Shopping, Motat, cafes. Nice outdoor area overlooking a lovely garden.

Clean and cozy space for a weekend getaway. With thoughtful extras like a welcome box, coffee machine and toiletries. Kids loved the outside space and was helpful that it was gated. Neighbourhood felt safe and supermarket walkable distance. Really close to the arena which was perfect for what we needed.

Graham is extremely responsive and nice! Great place and exactly how it is pictured (even nicer to be honest). Would recommend as a great home base exploring Auckland and surrounding areas!

Fantastic hosts, with clear instructions on getting to and in the property, the property itself it clean, well appointed and very comfortable. Perfect for a short stay!

This is a wonderful place to stay when travelling north, but you really do need longer to enjoy it. Generous quantity of supplies, loved the dog Rocco who sneaked in to say hello and brought a ball to the door, just in case you wanted to play fetch, which I would always do. Loved the helpful suggestions we were given when we left too

Absolutely LOVED this place! I used this space as a Wedding prep spot for my Bridesmaids. Very family friendly home and suitable for a luxury stay 10/10!!! The only downside was the very unfriendly neighbors who tried to enter the property via the open garage to tell us of for making noise before 10pm and for parking while unloading our cars in the driveway so just be mindful of that when booking.

This home was perfect for us - a family of adult children with their partners. The kitchen was pristine, home was so clean and great furniture. Added detail with very sweet treats for us. We all said we’d love to rent again.

Shanta was a great host and the apartment was just what we needed. The apartment is in a great location intersecting K Road and Ponsonby Road which had so many places to explore. Shanta had prepared a document with check in instructions and local recommendations which we really appreciated.

Grant was excellent to communicate with. The instructions were thorough and clear. He always responded immediately to my messages and answered all questions that I had. It was very easy to find the house and get into it. Everything about the stay was easy and as described. The house was clean and had everything we needed. Lovely bedrooms and bathrooms and plenty of living space. Pool and spa was wonderful and the pool toys were great for the kids

Excellent stay at No 1 Location in Mt Eden. Everything was perfect and as described. It was easy to find and access. It was a very clean and cosy place to stay. Great location for exploring (or going down memory lane, as it was in my case). Construction/city works are currently nearby, so keep earplugs on hand if you're a light sleeper (I was in a single bedroom, away from the exterior wall and didn't hear much noise; my other guest needed plugs one night out of the two we stayed). I would 100% stay again.

I had the pleasure of staying once again at Barbara’s cottage, and it was another incredible experience. The cottage offers breathtaking views, is fully equipped, and has a wonderfully comfortable bed. Surrounded by nature, it’s the perfect place to unwind. Barbara’s cottage has truly become my first choice whenever I’m in Auckland. Thank you once again, Barbara, for such a fantastic stay!

Pip was so friendly and helpful and went above and beyond to make her guest feel comfortable.

Clare’s place was in a great location to the city, cafes, restaurants, theatres, and public transport. It was comfortable and secure. Communication was excellent. We enjoyed our stay in Auckland and it was enhanced by staying at Clare’s.

Excellent location - so close to everything in the heart of Auckland city and the apartment was exactly as described in the listing - having everything we needed (and more) for a comfortable and enjoyable stay. Lloyd was a great host and actively available and responsive leading up to and during our stay. Highly recommend. Would definitely stay here again. Thanks for having us!

We stayed with our family who was visiting from overseas. The space was very clean and felt like a hotel stay. Bathtub was great to relax in after a long day of walking. Definitely recommend!
