Vacation rentals with a patio in Herne Bay

We really enjoyed our stay. The apartment has the feel of student housing and the small bedroom (single bed) has no windows. But everything is walkable and Richard allowed us to check out late! Altogether nice stay!

Loved our stay here. Cool, funky neighborhood and a 15 min walk to the downtown center. Lots of thrifting if you’re into that, and cool restaurants. Nice park right behind the building. Hannah was quick to respond to messages and her instructions on parking and access to the unit were clear. Her local guidebook was very helpful. Apartment was lovely, very comfortable and decorated very nicely. Especially liked the little balcony to sit outside and read. Would definitely stay here again!

Really nice, spacious one bedroom apartment. Has a nice waterfront view and a deck. Good selection of coffee machine capsules. The dryer and washing worked well. Aircon worked well on cold. Has a lot of lounge space. The wifi kept turning on and off which was a little frustration. It may need to be adjusted. Thanks for the stay!

Easily one of the best air bnb’s we’ve stayed at! The apartment was so tidy, had everything we needed and in an ideal location. Sam was such an awesome host - super responsive and made the stay smooth! We also appreciated the book of local recommendations that we made good use of. It was like a home away from home. Everything has been thought of, fully equipped kitchen, toiletries, hair dryer. The apartment was lovely and clean and close to the top end of the CBD. I would definitely recommend.

We had a fantastic stay at Tama's place! The home was clean, comfortable, and well-decorated, with thoughtful touches that made it feel welcoming and cozy. The location was perfect, close to where we needed to be, and I appreciated the convenience of the fast wifi and a fully equipped kitchen. Tama was communicative and helpful, offering great recommendations for local spots to explore. The place was perfect for our family of 4. It has a view of the Auckland CBD area. A short drive to most touristy spot.

Superb location in a beautiful and quiet neighborhood, within a short walk to both a big supermarket and park, and an easy drive to the city. The house is spacious, with a well equipped kitchen, and comfy and warm beds. The underfloor heating in the bathroom and toilet is an added bonus, as was the smart TV with Netflix and Amazon Prime. The highlight for the kids though was the gorgeous piano! My only criticisms are that the sofa and chairs in the lounge are uncomfortable; the towels were thin and small; and we couldn't shut two of the blinds in the lounge at night, which made it feel less private given there's another house close behind it. Despite these, we'd happily stay here again.

Very clean and tidy space with beautiful art pieces to spend time looking at. Outdoor area was private and spacious, gutted to not enjoy the beauty of it due to weather. Spa was a lovely touch, nice and hot. We used this space to attend Coldplay at Eden Park & was a comfortable 15 minute walk. Cheers!

Jon's apartment was exactly as described and Jon himself so helpful and friendly. Being over three floors allowed myself and my three adult children the space we needed with personal spaces for everyone. The location is great, right across the road from Victoria Park. The city skyline was outstanding with Sky Tower right before of our eyes. We were in Auckland for the Cold Play concert and Sky Tower would continously change colour in the evening. It was really something to see. I couldn't have picked a better place to stay.

Quick stay before returning back to the states after a three week trip of the north island. The location and view from the patio were fantastic. We had no problem finding quick and delicious dinner that evening and breakfast before we left the next morning. :)

We loved our stay. It was a bit outside of our budget but we were happy & it was worth it. It rained quite alot during our stay so it was lovely to have a big place to relax in overseeing the water. The beach was beautiful & the local restaurants were great. Very relaxed vibe and would stay again.

We had a great 3-day stay at Nick's place and would be happy to stay here again. The private balcony is clearly the star of the show with its garden, grill, jacuzzi ("spa pool" in Kiwi-speak), and Sky Tower view. The condo is in a great location (I recommend the Grey Lynn butcher shop to make best use of Nick's grill) while still being quiet & private. And Nick himself is easily among the best Airbnb hosts I've interacted with –– he went above & beyond to make sure that check in & check out were at times that made sense for us, he's got a great sense of humor ("humour" in Kiwi-speak), and generally speaking he seemed to genuinely care that we had a fun experience.

Our second stay here and it’s our home away from home. Great location, easy parking, secure building, beautiful deck and nice kitchen. What more do you need?

Fabulous! Immaculate apartment. Fantastic location. Appreciated the secure carpark provided and added security around access into and out of apartment. All detail and provisions with in thought of. Would absolutely stay again. Thanks Helen and Kate!

Lovely quiet spot within walking distance of many bars and restaurants. Perfect for solo travelers and couples. There's no central air, which is a change for an American like me, but the breeze came through the apartment nicely. Would recommend!
