Vacation rentals with a fireplace in Herne Bay

Jenny kept their houae really tidy and clean. They also provided kids books. My kids liked staying there. It's 10 min walking to the nearest supermarket which is very convenient.

Beautiful quite location. Beautiful home, loved the big living area and the kitchen. Beds were nice and comfortable. Driveway was a little steep for high heels in the rain 😁. There are a lot of stairs so if you have knee issues or are elderly do not take the upstairs room. There is a split system to keep the house warm but unfortunately doesn't quite get to all the rooms. The bed linen was definitely keeping us warm and the house sleepers was definitely a warm touch. Loved all the bathroom amenities provided and the snacks and water. Overall, we would definitely book back with Sam. Thank you for allowing us to stay in your home.

The house was like a beautiful, serene retreat. We had a personal welcome from John who showed us around and gave us all the info we needed for our weekend. From the fish pond at the entrance to the lovely, spacious home, out to the amazing heated swimming pool, spa pool, and gardens, and then there is the multi-million dollar view!! 160 degrees of ocean and Rangitoto island. There was plenty of space for our group to have their own areas to chill but also great entertaining space when we could all be together. Minutes to beaches/bays cafes, shops. If you want a place with it all, this is it!! Thanks Joseph we will definitely stay again :)

Bobby is so lovely to communicate with. Responses are lightning fast which made working out logistics a breeze. Truly made the decision on which property to choose easy! Plus one of the few properties with a beautiful yard & pool!

Emily and Sam’s place was perfect for our World Cup Auckland trip! Beds were comfy, lots of space for us to unpack and spread our things out. And she even left some breakfast knowing we’d arrive late and tired! Thank you!

Perfect place for our family of 5 adults. We walked everywhere (about 30 minute walk to the ferry) and took buses. It is right next to the Auckland Domain & War Museum and convenient to Mount Eden, as well as some good restaurants. Cathy's place is beautifully decorated with comfy couches and beds, plus a huge deck to enjoy the views. The whole place is even prettier and bigger than the photos indicate. Both the bathrooms and kitchen are well stocked with everything we needed for travel, and the washing machine and dryer worked great. Cathy very nicely allowed us to drop off our luggage several hours early and have a late checkout as well. We had a chance to meet her during check-in and she was so friendly. She also dropped off an extra fan and sponges because we had some warm weather. Every room has big windows so lots of natural light and good ventilation. This was one of our favorite Airbnbs that we have ever stayed in and would highly recommend it!

Fantastic location with direct park access. The most wonderful deck with great views- a joy in summer. Please note: this place doesn’t have an oven or a freezer and the bathroom is tiny, but we managed to make this place our home for a month during renovations. It may not be the ritz but it certainly does have character and a super accommodating host (with the friendliest, loveliest dog- Ziggy is definitely a highlight)

We had a great stay, no issues. Close to a little cafe, bus stop and dairy. Dave was easy to communicate with and helped us settle in. Highly recommend.

An absolute pleasure! Our stay in this apartment in the heart of Auckland impressed us from start to finish and was wonderful. The chic and bright decor creates a welcoming atmosphere, and it's equipped with everything you could possibly need. Working remotely was a breeze with the comfortable setup, and the central location made attending meetings a breeze. The cherry on top? The heated rooftop pool, offering a serene escape with stunning views. Count me in for a return visit .

Right from when we made our booking, Elsa and Steve were so welcoming, friendly & extremely helpful hosts. They really went out of their way to make us feel at home, always willing to help out and have a chat. Their property is gorgeous and so comfy. The photos don’t do the place justice! It’s easily accessible from the city but also equally convenient for hikes and exploring the local surrounding nature spots. Bonus that we got to make friends with their dogs Bob & Banjo! Aaron was a top notch host! The description and pictures are extremely accurate. Aaron would respond within minutes, if not immediately to every message. 10/10 recommend this location. It was centrally located to everything and the views are spectacular! Please note, you are at a cruise/ferry terminal so keep that in mind! We had early mornings planned so it worked out perfectly for my group - natural alarm.

Great place to stay.... exactly as depicted in pictures if not better. Spacious dwelling (for apartment style accommodation) easily accommodating the 5 of us, with a lovely outlook. Mike is a great host who leaves you to enjoy your stay but is only a text msg/phone call away if required. Great walks (hilly) to nearby bays with spectacular views along the way. Cafes, bakeries, and a Four Square grocery shop only a (hilly) walk or short drive away. Highly recommend.

I have stayed in many Airbnb's accomodations around the world. but I have to say that this one was excellent!! the place is beautiful, nicely decorated. It is their home, so, everything around makes you feel at home. It is extremely clean, all very well organized. I am truly impressed, and I have to say that I am a very neat person. We definitely recommend this place, we will stay again there next time we go to Auckland. It is located in a nice neighborhood, Cornwall Park is very near by car. It is very quiet. Communication with Himali and Ian was excellent as well. They responded very fast if we needed anything. Unfortunately we didn't meet them, and we would really would like to cause their home let us know that they are very interesting people. My parents, my husband and our dog, we were very happy there!!

Great place to gather a group of friends for a little staycation!! Big wide open space to hang out as a group, beautiful patio, absolutely stunning windows and lots of light.

Great location! Walking distance to both CBD and eden park. House was lovely with plenty of space for parking and nice homely feel. Juliet was very helpful and clear in her communication with us. Would happily stay here again and recommend to others

Heather & Harry’s home in devonport was awesome! Very close to the ferry and walking distances to multiple cafes, beaches, and small hiking spots. Heather really helped us out when we arrived in Auckland, not having a working phone she was able to phone the car hire service on our behalf and helped us get a shuttle to collect our rental car, we really appreciated that. The home was a great open space with plenty of natural lighting, and Heather had plenty of recommendations of things to do and try in the area. Only good things to say, could not recommend enough!

We had a great stay for a large family gathering and there was plenty of space for everyone. A few things either didn't work or we needed help with how to work it out but Jimmy was very responsive - quick to respond and very helpful and made sure we had a comfortable stay. The spa was great! One of the beds upstairs was very hard but the others were ok. Great facilities and great location. Thanks Jimmy!
