Vacation rentals with breakfast in Herne Bay

Joanne was a fantastic host! We felt really comfortable at her place. My friend who was also staying broke a chair, and Joanne's first concern was making sure everyone was okay rather than getting angry about it, so we really appreciated her compassion. Would definitely stay again.

From the get go Tammee was extremely helpful and very responsive to any communication from me. The house was beautiful and clean we felt very comfortable and at home here. The kitchen was well stocked with all the items needed for family dinners. Wonderful to have dishwasher tablets, washing powder, cling wrap, aluminium foil and even shower wash and sunscreen in the bathroom. The beds were very comfortable with lovely crisp linen and plenty of pillows. The welcome basket and bottle of wine was also a lovely touch. We would not hesitate to book again 😀

Very clean and tidy space with beautiful art pieces to spend time looking at. Outdoor area was private and spacious, gutted to not enjoy the beauty of it due to weather. Spa was a lovely touch, nice and hot. We used this space to attend Coldplay at Eden Park & was a comfortable 15 minute walk. Cheers!

Trish is such a wonderful friendly host. The yummy treats were so appreciated and topped off a fantastic weekend. The place was very clean and the bed was super comfortable. Such a close easy walk to the beautiful beach and to some great restaurants for dinner and breakfast. We will definitely stay here again.

Paula and Peter were friendly and helpful... and best of all, our dog was so relaxed and happy here. The fenced back section was ideal for our golden retriever to safely hang out in, and there's a green pocket park directly across the street. We're still so charmed by the cheese plate and fruit platter that turned up in our fridge. Oh - and lightening fast, reliable internet. Thanks so much!

We loved our stay here! Our active kids, ages 4 and 8 years, loved the easy access to the beach and playground, and adored spending time in the pool and hot tub every day. The rooms were comfortable and we all slept well. The location was an easy drive to restaurants and grocery stores. The host was friendly and communicated well. We would happily stay here again!

The location was ideal for easy walkable access to Queen Street, all of downtown including the waterfront, live theatre, parks, the Auckland Art Gallery and restaurants. Tom provided everything we needed for our delightful short stay in this beautiful city. Many thanks.

Having to pick up the key from the lockbox, which is “across the street outside a convenience store” seemed a little intimidating, especially with luggage. However, Sarah’s instructions were so detailed and included photos for each step which made it a very easy process! The apartment, although not large, is perfect for one or two people and is very quiet. Sarah has gone out of her way to make sure her guests have everything they could possibly need, including robes, slippers and umbrellas. The separate office space is also a nice bonus. The kitchen has all the gadgets you might need to cook or heat up some simple meals and there’s tea, coffee and some pantry items which are available to the guest. The shower is not huge - a caddy holding the shampoo & body wash was making it more cramped so I just put it on the floor - problem solved! I’m always cold and the provided heater did a great job. I really enjoyed being able to walk to everything and had a wonderful stay. Thanks Sarah!

Second time staying in this beautiful room, everything is so spacious, clean and comfortable. Felicity is the most wonderful host, loved catching up over a delicious breakfast. Will stay here again in future and highly recommend it to anyone else looking for a peaceful room in a beautiful location - with great access to the ferry!

Loved my stay at Susantha’s home. Family was welcoming, clean modern home, and close to Auckland airport.

Deborah offered most of one floor in her quiet spacious house to me (with one other very considerate guest). Her place is homely, comfortable and super clean, and in a good neighbourhood. My own car was needed. She was interesting to talk with as and when.

What a lovely place to base ourselves while playing in the Masters Hockey World Cup at North Harbour Hockey Centre. Connie was the most fantastic host and couldn't do enough to make sure we had everything we needed during our stay.

The house is close to the train station, making it easy to take public transportation to visit downtown Auckland, and there are supermarkets around.The hosts are very welcoming and kind, detailing the situation, providing all kinds of help for the guests, the room is fully equipped with all kinds of facilities, you can also cook your own meals.2 cats very cute.
