Beach house vacation rentals in Hatteras

Our 4 day stay was amazing. The house was exceptionally clean and welcoming. Communication was great, questions were answered almost immediately. A binder was left for us with all the instructions we needed, as well as menus for local restaurants. The beach is just a short walk away and the access can be seen from the driveway. We enjoyed the hot tub in the evenings after a lot of driving and walking. This is a great location for anyone who has kids and wants easy access to the beach, as well as being close to all of the restaurants and shops. We are already planning our next trip and hope to book again.

We absolutely enjoyed our stay! The view was beautiful and loved that the beach was walkable distance. Would definitely love to come back!

We had a great three night stay, my three adult children and I. The beach was surprisingly almost ours to ourselves. For an older traditional OBX house, it was well updated and very well appointed. The central floor plan is very open. I love it when you can be in the kitchen cooking while talking to everybody in the living area and those around the dinner table at the same time. Awesome view of the ocean off the back deck. We sat in the hot tub and still see the ocean. Im sometimes leary of hot tubs at the beach, a lot of times they are not well maintained. Danielle's was spotless and the water chemistry was perfect and safe. There was absolutely nothing we needed or any place where we needed to go that was not within a 5-minute drive. All of my family are fisherman. if you like to fish, there's not a better place to stay. getting from the house to the beach to surf fish takes less than a minute. we walked up to the OBX Pier several times to fish, probably less than a 5 minute walk.

Our stay at Timothy’s place was excellent. The weather was terrible during our stay due to a tropical storm, but the beautiful house made up for the weather. Timothy has thoroughly thought of every detail in the home. It is beautifully furnished and decorated. It has a great outdoor space. There were plenty of televisions to keep everyone happy given the weather. The hot tub is frequently serviced and clean. It has a very nice outdoor tub as well. The outdoor showers are beautiful and well designed. He has hoses on every level to minimize tracking sand into the house. We felt very relaxed. We would definitely recommend Timothy’s place. Very responsive host. Timothy definitely cares about his property and the comfort of his guests. We would come back and recommend this house.

We visited the Home in Rodanthe in April of 2025. Coming from upstate NY we were just excited to get a little sunshine. What we got was a whole lot better! The views from almost every window were stunning, and there was more than enough space in the house for my mother, my grandparents and myself along with our dogs. Darren was great! He was very speedy with his communication and helping us with what we needed along the way. 5 Star hosts!

Our family had a great time at Ocenside Bliss. the views are spectacular and the location is perfect. The home had amenities suitable for our entire family ranging from ages 19 months to 76. Cyndi is a fabulous host. She is responsive and friendly. We will definitely be back!

This was our 2nd time staying, We absolutely love the private peacefulness atmosphere! Perfect getaway for a couple. As well as how clean and kept the property is! The bar is set high. The home made us really feel at home. Hopefully it will be available for future visits!

Some silverware and plates were dirty, other than that house/host was perfect. Had plenty of space, floor plan was well thought of and amenities were nice. Proximity to beach was top notch and pool/ hot tub were as well. Would definitely return or recommend! Host was responsive and friendly!

We had a great time at the house, Diane helped us with everything we needed and was very attentive. House was close to the beach and nearby attractions. Over all a great experience!

Overall, it was a great experience for our family. The layout of the house with five bedrooms 4 1/2 baths fit us perfectly. Wraparound deck was lovely and the heated pool was most enjoyable. The house left nothing out as far as conveniences and having everything at our fingertips. We enjoyed having large spaces and particularly in the kitchen where all of us were able to cook together in a beautiful space. We would definitely stay again. Thank you.

We had such a wonderful few days at the Mermaid Lagoon. The house was absolutely beautiful and very clean. We felt right at home. We will definitely come back.

Excellent beach getaway on a quiet street with an easy walk to the beach. A quick walk from a local market with everything needed. House was clean, kitchen was very well stocked with everything needed for a stay. Grill was clean and plenty of gas. Pool was clean and private. Plenty of room for parking. Balcony and porch made for excellent evenings. Beach access is close and private. Everything was clean and ready to go when we go there. Hoses and outdoor faucets made cleanoff beach stuff and dogs easy. Will definitely look to rebook in the future.

Absolutely loved our stay at this beach house Airbnb! From the moment we walked in, everything was perfect. The house was spotless—you could tell the hosts truly care about keeping it in top shape. Every little detail was thoughtfully included, from extra towels and beach gear to a fully stocked kitchen with everything you could possibly need. The amenities were fantastic—comfortable beds, fast Wi-Fi, great water pressure, and even a cozy outdoor space to relax after a day at the beach. Speaking of which, the beach access was just a super short walk away, making it incredibly convenient to pop back and forth throughout the day. The surrounding area is full of charm, with local restaurants and shops just steps away. It’s the perfect combination of relaxing beach getaway and vibrant coastal town. The hosts were absolutely wonderful—friendly, welcoming, and incredibly responsive. It really made the experience feel warm and personal. I wish I could say more but were so excited to return!

The place was as described, a short walk to the beach and across the street from real watersports. The small grocery on the block was unexpectedly excellent.

Our family had a great vacation. The house was beautiful with plenty of rooms and bathrooms for all of us!! The house is private but very close to the beach, dunes, restaurants and shops. Would definitely love to visit again!

Our family had a great stay over a long holiday weekend. Wayne and Lynn accommodated our late arrival, made themselves available, and made us feel like neighbors. House was just as described and a short walk to the beach. They care about their home, the community, and sharing the experience with their guests. Exactly what you hope Airbnb hosts will be.

We loved our time here while at Nags Head. Not only was it in a great location, but the house and all its amenities made it a place you were happy to hang out at. It can be hard to find pet-friendly places along the NC coast, so to find one that clearly had pets in mind was great. If they'll have us, we'll definitely be back.

This was the most well designed Airbnb we have stayed at, and we have stayed at quite a few. It’s classy, nice but not over the top making you afraid of a dish falling or terrified your child will spill something. Debbie was kind, responsive and if we ever make the drive again we will be here. FYI - if you come fishing during the blues running - but “gotcha” plugs before going the pier lol. My son fished for 12 hours- and while it was worth it, it was expensive.

The cozy home was on a quite street and an easy walk to the beach. The house was clean and easy to access. Grocery stores were near by as well as other types of shopping and restaurants. The host was very easy to communicate with and was quick to respond. I would definitely stay here again.

Our stay at Skye’s the limit was amazing. The cottage was newly renovated and everything was in great condition and super clean. The beds were comfortable and the kids enjoyed the room with the bunk bed. The location was great and close to the beach with lots to do around.

We loved staying here for Thanksgiving! Nothing beats being a block from the beach. The kitchen was well-stocked for us to cook so we didn’t need to bring any kitchen items from home. It was a nice touch that the host provided children’s games, books and kids plates/cups. Beds were comfy, the couch was large and comfortable, and the living room was very spacious for spreading out toys or puzzles. Jockey’s Ridge was a blast with a child! Tortuga’s Lie and Noosa Beach Grille had excellent seafood nearby, and Swells’a Brewing had great beers for the craft beer lover in our family. Jen was extremely responsive when we had a question about the TV and she communicated check-in and check-out instructions very clearly. We would’ve stayed longer if we didn’t have to go home and we will definitely be back!

Perfect place for our Easter getaway. Easy walk to the beach which was lovely. Excellent choice for our group.
