The cottage was very nice for me and my girlfriend to get away for the week!

What can I say? The location was amazing. The place was amazing. A little bit of peace in what can be a busy area. The house was clean and everything was as described. The WiFi worked great… It was the perfect base of operation to plan out a busy day and the perfect place to recharge at the end of the day. I can’t recommend enough!! Thank you!

Place was very beautiful and was such a nice area, definitely recommend driving over to Columbia during your stay. Place was a bit more renovated than the pictures which was a nice surprise.

Claudio’s place was amazing and I’m not at all surprised. I’ve stayed at his other location and they are a great experience.

This was our second stay here, it remains one of our very favorite Airbnb’s. Sandi and Jim are great hosts, there when you need them or reach out with a question and otherwise invisible. Beautiful location, lovely home, it is absolutely where we will continue to stay when in the Gettysburg region.

The property we stayed in was absolutely beautiful and offered fantastic views of the river and surrounding areas. The house itself was very well maintained and offered a great outdoor area with the hot tub. Josh and Nicole were extremely accommodating and were absolutely fantastic hosts, would completely recommend them and staying on one of their properties.

An absolutely beautiful and memorable stay! From the moment we booked, John was incredibly responsive—his communication was fast, clear, and so helpful, which made the entire process stress-free. When we arrived, we were immediately struck by how beautiful and welcoming the home was. Every detail was thoughtfully prepared, and the space was spotless, peaceful, and full of warmth. One of the most touching parts of our stay was seeing Scripture placed throughout the home. As a family of believers, staying there while celebrating our son’s wedding made the weekend even more special. Being surrounded by God’s Word was such a comfort and blessing—it felt like a spiritual hug the whole time we were there. It created a calm and joyful environment that truly added to the joy of our celebration. The dining room, with all its windows and natural light, was absolutely breathtaking. We are so grateful for the experience and would absolutely stay again. Thank you, John!

Loved this place. Couldn’t say enough about how nice it was. It actually was even better than the pictures showed. We hung out on the back deck with a hot tub and the grill and comfy chairs. Bedroom and bathrooms primo. Kitchen was so organized and stocked with equipment and utensils and everything you might need. This was important for us as we cooked almost every meal here We totally enjoyed the pool table in the basement. The host was very helpful, communicative, and responsive. We enjoyed going to local greenhouses and gardens. Highly recommend this place.

This place was very nice for our trip. plenty of space inside, outside has a very nice back patio and fire pit, nice and quiet location, not too far from Gettysburg. When I had questions, I had answer very soon after. I would recommend this place to anyone looking to visit Gettysburg or surrounding areas.

Lovely home tucked down a gravel drive! Nicole was easy to reach & communicate with. Home was clean with all needed amenities. Walking distance to Mr Ed's Elephant museum & candy shop too!

Jen's place was clean, comfortable, quiet and well stocked. It truly felt like our "home away from home". We stayed here when our daughter had twins and due to unexpected circumstances we needed to extend our stay...2 times. Jen's communication, response time to messages and her willingness to help is the best I have ever experienced on Airbnb. We look forward to our next trip to see our daughter and we will definitely stay at Jen's again. Thanks again Jen!!!

What an absolute gem. Louita and her father are the kind of hosts who remind you what Airbnb was truly meant to be — a space where hospitality, warmth, and human connection shine. From the moment we arrived, they welcomed us like family, with genuine kindness and care that touched our hearts. They gifted us fresh raw milk, farm eggs, and the most delicious local strawberries we’ve ever tasted — sweet, vibrant, and completely unforgettable. The house itself is beautifully maintained, with a magical backyard that feels like a secret garden. Being there instantly transported me to my grandparents’ home — it was that comforting, that soulful. This was more than a stay; it was an experience of home, heart, and hospitality. Everything was nice, clean and we were provided with the comforts of home. From beginning to end. For allowing us to tour your other properties. The BUNTINGs were truly blessed. We really enjoyed our stay at the River House. It’s nice to be able to bring our dog and he had a blast looking out all of the windows and sitting on the deck. The place was very relaxing and sitting on the super comfortable couch at night made us feel like we were really on vacation. The kitchen had all cooking amenities and the bathroom was beautifully and thoughtfully remodeled. The location itself was great-felt remote enough for a relaxing vacation, but was also close enough to get to the main town and surrounding areas. A few things-The main bed is small. There’s a deck off the room that, if enclosed, could really allow for a bigger sleeping space for guests. Also, a couple lamps would be nice for more ambient lighting. Regardless, we’d love to come back and stay for a longer period of time. Those sunsets never get old! This place is a true gem-book now!

Exactly as advertised! Quiet and cozy cabin that felt at home and was very relaxing. The fire pit was already ready to go for us when we arrived and everything was nest upon arrival. Would definitely stay here again.

We had a truly wonderful stay at this beautiful cabin in the woods. The space was comfortable, spacious, and thoughtfully designed — the perfect setting for a relaxing getaway. One highlight was the kitchen. Honestly, I wish my kitchen at home was this nice! It was fully equipped with a fantastic induction stove, a great oven, and even a well-stocked spice cabinet. I really enjoyed cooking a few special meals there for my wife’s birthday. The cabin also has some delightful surprises. My son absolutely screamed with happiness when he discovered the secret room hidden behind the wardrobe — a magical touch that made the stay even more memorable for our family. The surroundings are just as charming: peaceful, beautiful, and perfect for unwinding. We’d love to come back. Highly recommend! Mike is a great host.

We enjoyed our time at John's place and were very comfortable. John was quick to respond to messages and very accommodating! We were able to cook meals and had everything we needed. We enjoyed sitting out on the deck and relaxing by the lake -- thank you John!

Can’t say enough good words about the place and the hosts. Candy Ann and Freddie were amazing hosts, super friendly, very responsive, and extremely kind. In fact, this might have been the warmest welcome experience we’ve had in all our time using Airbnb. The house itself is wonderful - decor is making you feel right at home, squeaky clean, comfortable, and located close to many fun attractions you can take your family to. And don’t even get me started on the pets, Angel, Lulu and Jojo, who made my kid beam when we saw them. Overall, amazing experience, would highly recommend for singles, couples, and small families looking to have a vacation in Lancaster.

I stay as a guest in Airbnbs on a regular basis. This home was wonderful! The hosts did not skimp - one thing I truly appreciated was not having to run out several times to get things like paper towels, toilet paper, dish liquid, soap. That is a huge convenience to out of towners and I don't mind paying a little extra for that. I have stayed in places that had one or two dishes towels, old beat up furniture, faded, thin linens and towels...These hosts spent some money on nicer bedding, decent towels and furnishings. I felt like the price was a little high until I got there - every detail was pretty much covered. They provided very nice bikes - probably a highlight of the stay. Riding the rail trail was awesome! Janell and Dave obviously put a lot of thought and love into creating this space. They were hugely responsive to any questions and came by the house to assist with a TV remote question. I am absolutely thrilled with the experience and will visit here again sometime. Thank you!!

Bernadette was a great host, She did her best to be responsive and helpful when arranging accommodations. The place was very nice and enjoyable to stay!

We were there for a nearby wedding and traveling with elderly parents. Brooke was very accommodating to our needs. place was clean and exactly what we needed for our one night stay.

This cozy home met all of our needs and more. The only thing we needed during our visit was more time to stay longer. We appreciated the all natural products and supplies. The surroundings were beautiful, and there was adequate outdoor seating to enjoy it! Meeting Aaron was a nice surprise, when he stopped by to check on us.

Joe was right, the place is tucked away, and the parking was abundant and right where he said it would be. Beautiful location and walkable to the places we wanted to go. Joe is very responsive to requests. I didn't realize the window unit conditioners works not be in yet so I was a little concerned, but the nights were cool so it worked out fine. He turned on the downstairs air conditioner as soon as I mentioned my concern, so that helped a lot.

We stayed 3 nights with our young grandchildren they enjoyed the pool area and the fire pit. (For the s’mores of-course) There was enough room for the 4 of us to sit and relax watch tv and play some games. The house is centrally located to the restaurants,entertainment,and sight and sound theater. had a great time away and would visit Ruth’s home again.
