The 2nd bedroom has a queen bed while the 3rd bedroom offers a queen bed and twin daybed with a twin trundle underneath. A full size air mattress or pack in play is available upon request (if needed). A 2nd full bath is centrally located next to the open kitchen and living area. Privacy Well Appointed My wife and I have been attending a Memorial Day Weekend family reunion at her brother's farm in Olaton for over 30 years. When we were younger we camped on the farm. We are now in our seventies and in recent years we have searched for places to stay in the area and have been as far away as Leitchfield. We were excited to find Cowbell Cottage so close by and so well cared for. We shared the information with the family and all were impressed by the pictures and our description. The price was a little more than other places but the accommodations were well worth it. PS - My wife and daughter loved talking to the cows.

Amy and Matt are amazing hosts and their house is absolutely beautiful! The weather was very rainy but the porch was great for enjoying a rainy day. This house is as beautiful as the photos and Amy and Matt are hosts that go above and beyond! Can't recommend it (and them) enough!

Marissa was so responsive… and we were placed in the middle of Bluegrass country was simply amazing! I spent two days at Mammoth Caves National Park, and one day at the Bluegrass Music Hall of Fame, jamming with other musicians, and one day at the Bill Monroe museum and homeplace in Rosine, Kentucky… It was an amazing! adventure!

If you’re looking for a peaceful escape, this place is it! It’s definitely remote (lots of winding roads to get there), but once you arrive, it’s absolutely worth it. The property is beautiful—trees, ponds, birdsong, and fresh air all around. The cabin was spotless, stylish, and well-stocked—especially appreciated the abundance of coffee! The bed was incredibly spacious and comfy, and everything felt either brand-new or recently renovated. We loved sitting on the porch in the mornings with coffee, just enjoying the quiet and watching the birds. It’s a truly serene spot. Though remote, it’s still conveniently located—we visited family in Elizabethtown (about 15 minutes away), and Louisville was an easy 40-minute drive. A special shoutout to Crusoe, the sweet husky who lives on the property. He was so gentle and friendly—our son and my husband loved him, and he even curled up on my husband’s feet one night! Highly recommend if you're looking to unplug and unwind.
