Vacation rentals with outdoor seating in Halifax County

A great place for a private, quiet retreat. This home is nestled away from many other buildings or noise, but still 15-30 minutes from restaurant options and stores. The space was so comfortably decorated, clean, well-appointed kitchen, and little extra touches to make you feel right at home (fresh baked cookies, wood for the fire pit, toiletry options in the bathrooms, etc). There is a lovely front porch and lots of open field space to do some great stargazing. Nichole was the perfect mix of available/responsive while not being over communicative.

We had a lovely stay! The location has a beautiful view of the water. It is peaceful with many outdoor spaces to relax, as well as a spacious, inviting kitchen and living area. The bedrooms were perfect for our family - especially the first floor bedroom and bath for my elderly mother. We enjoyed our stay and appreciate Rachel's flexibility and quick responses to our questions.

My family and I went to visit my dad and other family members. I grew up in Clarksville so really wanted somewhere with a great view and close to town. The views were spectacular!! Large windows throughout were so nice. Property matched description, was very clean and had everything we needed. I look forward to possibly staying again next year.

Mickey was great, wish I would’ve had time to take them up on the fishing trips. Thanks for having me, will book again if in town!

This is our 3rd year staying here for our annual weekend at the lake and the house is the perfect set up for our families. The weather was perfect, the fish were biting and it is the perfect place to relax for the weekend. Matt and crew are very responsive, highly recomend.

Cathy was amazing. This is a historical site that she is continuing its legacy. She was responsive and attentive to be sure our stay was a great experience. We felt welcome on the property. Deer running through the woods, goats in the field, and the sculpture garden were awesome.

This was my boyfriend and i’s first time visiting and I instantly fell in love!! The location is great. It wasn’t complicated to find with GPS. We love being secluded, so this was great. We loved waking up in the sun room, viewing the water. Although the wind was too high for a fire, the fire pit/hot tub area was excellent as well. The hot tub was spot on!! This place is most definitely a great place to come for a couples get away to relax. I loved the swing the most! I could go on and on about our stay and how great it was for the price. We look forward to returning with our kids or a future getaway again!! Margo is a very respectful and responsive host, and her rental is worth it!! Thanks Margo :)
