Nestled in East Peoria’s countryside along the Illinois River, our 2BR/2BA home offers stunning year-round sunsets, an open floor plan, and beachside charm. Perfect for families or couples, with a boat ramp for kayaks or small boats, plus calm, shallow water for fishing and fun. Pet-friendly, private, and beautifully remote—yet close to everything.

The space
You won’t believe how relaxing the sound of waves crashing can be from anywhere in this charming 900 sq. ft. riverfront home. Open any of the 3 sliding glass doors leading to a full-width deck, fire up the Weber grill, or gather in the spacious kitchen for breakfast. Relax on the new concrete patio with infinity river vibes, enjoy a smokeless fire pit, or light a bonfire on the riverbank under the stars.

The open upstairs layout includes a fully equipped kitchen with a reverse osmosis premium water filter, a dining table with seating for four, and a cozy living area with a sectional and 70” Roku TV. Two bedrooms feature room-darkening blinds for restful sleep:
• Bedroom 1: Queen Sterns & Foster mattress, reading lamps, alarm clock, USB outlets, iron & board, rocking chair, chest of drawers, full-length mirrored closet doors, and a 40” Roku TV with antenna for local channels.
• Bedroom 2: Queen hybrid memory foam mattress, two nightstands, lamp, and closet for storage.

Downstairs, unwind at the bar with a mini wine fridge, countertop ice maker, and a casual lounge area with oversized bean bag chairs, Pier 1 chairs, and a sleeper couch (bedding available upon request). Enjoy a 55” Roku TV with an extension bar for your favorite gaming console, board games, cards, and books. There’s also a full bath with a stand-up shower and a washer/dryer.

Beach access to the river is just steps away, with a private boat ramp perfect for kayaks and small boats. The cove features a year-round aquifer stream — ideal for calm paddling and nature watching. Keep an eye out for bald eagles, songbirds, and abundant wildlife in this peaceful, remote setting.

Guest access
Guests will enter the home through the front door. The driveway is located right next to the house for easy access. The front patio/deck has three short steps leading up to the entrance. Please note: there is no handrail or step handle, so take care when using the stairs. The back of the home features sliding doors (upper deck and walk-out basement), which are accessible after entry through the front.

Our home is close to neighboring properties, so we kindly ask guests to be mindful of noise and respectful of their space. Please do not enter or use the neighbors’ private beach areas. They are harmless insects that don't bite or sting and their presence is a natural sign of a healthy river. They're usually most noticeable near outdoor lights at night and only last a short time. Keeping lights off when possible and doors closed can help minimize them.

We are off the beaten path down a secluded road. Our home is riverside with a small boat ramp access & there are just a handful of surrounding homes on a cul de sac. We are past a campground in a country setting in Springbay part of East Peoria.
