5 Br 3.5 Bath house at Timberline

TraceyRating, 5 stars15 months ago
House was great for a three family share. It is maybe a 5 min walk from Timberline’s First Flurries magic carpet area. We loved the indoor hot tub. Kitchen was sufficiently stocked to cook basic meals. We would book this house again.

Salamander Slope Side Retreat-Timberline Mountain

ZiyaRating, 5 stars2 weeks ago
We had a fantastic weekend getaway at this beautiful Airbnb in Davis, WV with a group of friends. From start to finish, our stay was smooth and thoroughly enjoyable. The house was extremely well-equipped with all the expected amenities — and more. Every room was clean, tidy, and well-maintained, making it feel like a home away from home. One of the highlights of our trip was the amazing game room in the basement. It had something for everyone — karaoke, foosball, air hockey, video games, a TV, lots of books, and board games. The kids had an absolute blast, and so did the adults! The natural surroundings were delightful — the peaceful stream behind the house added a special touch. Highly recommend this Airbnb for families, friend groups, or anyone looking for a cozy and well-appointed place to stay in the area. We’d love to come back again!

4BR Slope-Side Mountain Retreat + Hot Tub & Sauna

AishwaryaRating, 5 stars1 week ago
The location and comfort of this Airbnb are the key highlights! A great balance of seclusion and convenience, it is a less than 15-min drive to the main streets of Davis, with access to breweries and restaurants. Parking areas of several popular hikes in Dolly Sods are also a 15-20-min dive away. The hosts are great - they were friendly, responsive, respectful, flexible, and super proactive! They communicated all instructions really well, including the most helpful guidebook of an Airbnb I have ever come across. The house is well-equipped, especially the kitchen, with all necessities plus extra supplies in stock. It is thoughtfully decorated, clean, and affords great views. Overall, a wonderful place and wonderful hosts!

Country Mile - Amazing Views, Hot Tub, Fire Pit

MissyRating, 5 stars1 month ago
We couldn’t have picked a better location to spend our 1 year wedding anniversary. We spent a beautiful Saturday at Blackwater Falls and exploring any trace of the Blackwater 100 (historic offroad race) around town. Sunday was raining and we spent the entire day at the cabin having the most peaceful day watching the clouds roll through.

Cozy Cabin in Canaan Valley

PaulRating, 5 stars12 months ago
My wife and I needed a trip away from the city for the long holiday weekend where we could enjoy some good activity in peaceful surroundings with our dog. This cozy pedestal cabin in Black Bear Resort was just what we were looking for. Check in was easy by picking up the keys at the resort lodge. The place had everything we needed to a cook a couple nights for ourselves, including the gas grill on the deck. The wall-mounted 4K flatscreen TV with Roku let us relax after three active days out and about in Canaan Valley while we listened to the thunderstorms roll over the mountains each evening. This would certainly be a fine place for folks (especially with kids -- there were two sets of bunk beds in the loft) to use a base for their WV adventures any time of year!

Explore Canaan Valley from this secluded cabin

EllyRating, 5 stars1 month ago
We loved our spring break stay at Otter's Den and would return in a heartbeat! Our group was two couples, four children (ages 9 months to 8 years) and one dog, and everyone had a great time. The house is perfect for kids -- lots of open space, and an incredible supply of games, puzzles, and books. We appreciated the comfortable beds and extremely well-stocked kitchen -- it was a joy to prepare meals in. The surrounding area has no shortage of beautiful spots, and host Heather gave us excellent recommendations for walks that even the hike-resistant toddlers enjoyed. Heather was generally a perfect host -- extremely responsive, helpful, and kind. She went above and beyond in ensuring we had a good time. We hope to come back next year!

Appalachian Cabins Family cabin #3

JennyRating, 5 stars1 month ago
Tashina's place was fantastic! We booked extremely last minute and she had no problem getting the place set up for us. It was in a beautiful location with great amenities - hot tub, fire pit, TV, and a river to fish in. There were only two downsides - one was the Internet actually worked better outside than it did inside (but we expected that with the remoteness of the place) and the beds could've been more comfortable. All in all, I'd stay again!

We loved our stay at Wildest Dreams. Melissa and Jim were so helpful and responsive. The house was very well appointed. We felt right at home, and had everything we needed to prepare three meals each day for our party of eight. Plenty of beds and space to spread out. Location is great—just a few minutes drive from Timberline Mountain. We would definitely stay again!
