Wow! It's beautiful here -- nothing quite like it. All the amenities, but kinda like stepping back in time 30 years to a slower, more peaceful time. On the bank of West Buffalo Creek, close to Cherohala Skyway, Joyce Kilmer, Tail of the Dragon, GSMNP and Lake Santeetlah. Washer/dryer, AC, heat, dishwasher, microwave, TV, on world class trout stream. 1 large br w/2 queen beds, 1 1/2 bath. Campfire/picnic area, ample parking. Pet friendly w/$50 pet fee. Wifi. We are open! Sit in the rockers with your morning coffee, eat your meals at the kitchen table or sit in front of the fireplace all while enjoying the amazing view! The hot tub is located on the deck overlooking the beautiful Mountain View. We are just 20 minutes away from Bryson City and the Nantahala Outdoor Center, 10 minutes from Tsali Recreation, 25 minutes from the Smoky Mountain National Park, Cherokee and The Blue Ridge Parkway. This is a peaceful retreat - cell phone service is not available or very limited, no Wi-Fi, and no TV service. We allow A MAXIMUM of 4 guests! There is one king bed and one queen bed. We currently have two kayaks (one single and one two-person), two paddleboards, and a canoe available for use by our guests. Paddles and life jackets are included.

Our Snowbird Creek Cabin is cool and relaxing. It is just minutes from “Tail of the Dragon”. It is a fly fisherman’s paradise also. Hiking trails and waterfalls abound, or just kick back and relax in the pristine setting of the Snowbird Back Country. We will allow one dog 25 pounds or under to come. No exceptions for bigger dogs. I will request a picture of the dod. The dog will not be allowed on furniture. I live next door, so i will know if my rules are not obeyed.

We had a wonderful stay at this cozy lake-view home! The view was absolutely stunning. The house was well-equipped and had a warm, inviting atmosphere. It was peaceful and felt like the perfect getaway from the city. The hosts were responsive and provided clear instructions, which made check-in and check-out super easy. We really appreciated the thoughtful touches like board games and extra blankets. As far as the cleanliness we did notice a couple of issues, and it definitely didn’t take away from our overall experience. Would absolutely recommend this place to anyone looking to relax and enjoy nature. We will be coming back next year!!

This was our second trip to the Smokies staying in one of Kim and Sherry's cabins. This trip was just as relaxing and beautiful as the last! It was clean, peacful, and comfortable. The fire pit, hot tub, sitting on the deck, everything was exactly what I wanted on this break from daily chaos. I have seen some reviews about getting to the cabin because of the gravel roads and driveway that you have to navigate to get to it. There are some tricky spots, but we drove our front wheel drive Honda HRV up with no problem, just dropped it into low gear. Thanks again for a wonderful getaway!

This place was exactly what we were looking for – peaceful, private, and secluded. After a day of hiking and exploring Bryson City, we decided to stock up on food and stay in for the rest of our 4-day trip. The kitchen was well-stocked with appliances, and I loved cooking while enjoying the stunning views of the Smoky Mountains. The fireplace and hot tub were both fantastic. The bed on the first floor was comfortable, though after a couple of nights, I developed a backache – it may have been a bit too soft for my liking. My son, however, was very happy with his bed on the second floor. One downside, which had nothing to do with the property itself, was the presence of dead trees, likely due to the timing of our visit. While the sunrises were beautiful, they didn’t quite live up to the pictures. Another small disappointment was the lack of hiking trails right within walking distance of the home. At least my dogs loved the daily hikes up and down the paved road.

Very nice place, also very clean. we really enjoyed it. It was a bit small but it is explained so we were prepared for that. The host tho had everything ready from the hot tub to the bathroom and kitchen to the bed. Towels, soap and little odds and ends. We will definitely come back on another weekend and enjoyed are time. Just beware there isn’t much around but that isn’t the host fault at all. Very good get away spot. (Ps no service there but there is WiFi)

Michelle and Kirk's home was the perfect place to stay on Lake Santeetlah. It was spacious, private, and well stocked with kitchen equipment, games, and water sports equipment. Michelle and Kirk were very responsive hosts and provided us with ample directions for how to get to the house, as well as a very detailed guidebook on the home and things to do in the surrounding area. I would gladly recommend staying here! For any future visitors with a trailer in tow, I would suggest pulling past the initial entrance to the driveway so that you can back down the exit side.
