Family-friendly vacation rentals in Garden City

This getaway was very last minute and there was huge importance on it because I needed some time away and because I had never booked an Airbnb before. I wanted to make sure that my family and I were able to be someplace peaceful and have a really good time and Brian’s home provided just that. The stay was so much more than we expected and Brian was absolutely amazing. He’s super responsive and accommodating. Hoping to stay here again in the near future!

We had a wonderful stay at the Lake House. The house was beautiful and large enough for my family of 6. We enjoyed the hot tub with views of an icy lake. Beds were comfortable and bathrooms were clean and fresh. We went bowling and found great restaurants in nearby by Warwick. We would love to return soon!

Victoria's place was wonderful! It was spacious and comfortable and gave our family plenty of room to spread out and enjoy our visit. Victoria was a very responsive host and made check in and check out stress free and easy! There was ample parking for our cars and the house was private - it was the "house behind the house" so we weren't subject to busy traffic noise on the street. (Got a little confusing for DoorDash drivers but we worked it out :D). I will book this same place next time I am up for an extended weekend with the family. Highly recommend!

This was our second time staying at this home, and just like the first time, everything was perfect. The place is exactly as described—clean, comfortable, and well-equipped with everything we needed. It suits my family, who visit me every year from abroad, perfectly. The location is convenient, the neighborhood is quiet, and the hosts are absolutely lovely—friendly, responsive, and thoughtful. We truly feel at home here and will definitely be back again. Highly recommend!

We had a great time in David and Claires beautiful house in Bellport. Such a nice place and perfekt location for daily trips by the coast with stops on the way out to the Hamptons. Or a daytrip to the city, close enough. Nice and quiet location, the house is very cosy and a lot of space for a bigger family or perfect for family reunion. We loved the ping pong table and other activitites as the pool, jacuzzi and the outdoors. If the weather had been better we would have used the facilities outside more for sure. We would love to come back to the house again. David and Claire are excellent hosts, very helpful and quick at responding.

Had an absolutely wonderful stay! Location is perfect and Jaime was incredibly friendly throughout!! He let me know that they had everything we would need.. but as a self-described obsessive packer I didnt listen. He wasn't kiding! They had beach chairs, umbrellas, and everything else you need for the perfect beach day. I brought an entire wagon of stuff and used one bag. It really is an awesome little find!!

I just wanna make it clear to anyone that left a bad review because their significant other didn’t show up or stay the night after you bought them a chef and didn’t get a full refund after using the place for a full night. Your blasphemy. It’s a perfect place and Roma is an angel. It was a 10 out of 10 spotless and fully working place to be at and im glad I went had two of the best nights of my life. Loved it 😌

A Perfect Long Island Getaway! I had an incredible stay at this beautiful Long Island home. The property is truly stunning—it is nestled on a large pond with its own private waterfront and dockage. The views and relaxing atmosphere can't be put into words. We sipped our coffee by the water in the morning and really enjoyed the sunset from the deck. It truly felt like a retreat! The house itself is immaculate and thoughtfully stocked with the important amenities. From a fully equipped kitchen to comfortable beds and stylish decor, it’s clear the owner put great care into making sure guests feel right at home. The location is amazing--secluded enough to enjoy nature and privacy, but still close to everything you might want to explore. Whether you're into boating, relaxing, or just soaking up beautiful surroundings, we were pleasantly surprised at all there was to offer. The host Joe was responsive and made the whole process seamless. We miss it already and can't wait to go back!

Love staying here! It was perfect for our family. Had two toddlers and a baby and it worked out so great for us after renting some baby equipment (pack n play and high chair) from a third party. The kids loved the animals and the ducks and chickens that would greet us in the yard. a nice patio we had a couple dinners and snacks at. A homey, stylish and perfect place for us. Needed to keep the doors locked even if just going to the cafe, there were some people who were exploring our yard even though the signs said it was private. Someone was parked in our designated spot just once, otherwise was very nice to have a parking spot. The remote for the tv was lost the first few days till the maid graciously came by and helped us find it tucked in the couch. We could not stop talking about how perfect the place worked out for us. It was so charming and such a great place for the kids to enjoy. Would definitely recommend and stay again sometime!

The house was beyond great. It had multiple amenities and activities to do not only within the house, but within the location. In addition, we felt very safe during our entire stay and knew that the host was a message away. Overall, me and my friends would highly recommend this house if you would like a relaxing and fun weekend by the shore!

Victor and Kim were gracious and amazing hosts. I was celebrating my birthday and they even had a card, a bottle of champagne, red wine and fruit. It was such a wonderful surprise! The house was so beautiful and the beach is just outside! The kitchen was fully stocked with everything one would need to cook for a family; there was a convection oven! We loved using the grill as it was memorial day. Bathrooms had rain showers. Beds were so comfortable and it was truly wonderful to wake up to a beautiful sunrise and to just listen to the waves from the deck or even the living room. We spent a lot of time outside, on the beach. It was home away from home.

The home had so much room which was great since we were 6 adults and 4 children. We were able to spend time together yet had spots for some quiet time. The backyard was wonderful for the children and the playroom was a life saver on a rainy day. The house is very close to activities in Stamford and Norwalk which we took advantage of each day.

We enjoyed our stay! Such easy access to the beach was so convenient. You’re definitely better off venturing out after high tide to enjoy the most amount of beach and there are a lot of shells that make being barefoot challenging. We did arrive after major storms which could have contributed to that. The house was spotless with everything you need to be comfortable! We did not utilize the outdoor space but definitely would have if the weather was drier! Definitely would stay here again.

“Cabinesse” host (s), clearly care about their cabin and their guest. The cabin is sparkly clean and comfortable. The lake views are beautiful. The host is responsive and very helpful. We followed some suggestions from the guest book, such as a visit to Warwick, Bellvale Farms Creamery for amazing ice cream and Appalachian Pochuck Boardwalk Trail. We also tried the Bellvale Market (everything made there; amazing food) and hiked the Sterling Lake Loop (4.2 miles). Amazing unplug! Highly recommended.

My husband and I cannot say enough wonderful things about the amazing home of Peter and Jess! It is so welcoming, beautifully laid out and has every amenity a guest could need, plus extra thoughtful touches. Check-in was a breeze, the home was immaculate and our bedroom seriously had the most comfortable bed I have ever slept in! Having the rarity of a backyard to enjoy - especially in Brooklyn - was such an added bonus, and they went out of their way to welcome our dogs! The location was perfect - everything you could ever need, including restaurants and shops, is in walking distance. We were able to find nearby parking throughout our visit. The privilege of being guests in their beautiful home for the weekend of our son's wedding added so much enjoyment and comfort to such a celebratory event!

Finally someone who really deserves to be called superhost. The listing could not be more accurat und everything worked like a clockwork. You want fast answers? Try Jenna. It feels like you get the answer before even texted the question. The neighborhood is not totally New Jerseys's finest, but we wanted a central location, close to the airport, ways to everywhere as short as possible. Would I book it again? Yes. Would I recommend it to a friend? Yes. So a 5 star rating for this rental, only because 10 stars is not possible.

Robert was an awesome host! Super easy to communicate with and made check-in and check-out a breeze. We even got to meet him he made balloon animals and did magic tricks for our kid, which was the sweetest thing ever. Seriously such a down-to-earth, kind person. The neighborhood was quiet, cute, and felt really safe. The house was beautiful and way bigger than we expected! We had everything we needed and felt totally at home. Definitely planning to book with him again!

I really enjoyed my stay at Gaby’s Airbnb. Very reasonable, clean and peaceful. Exactly how it was described. Gaby was very responsive about getting back to any questions I had. I would definitely stay there again.

Two bedroom apartment with two bathrooms. An extensive living room with a large kitchen. Everything is working. Balcony. Washer and dryer. Tranquility. Mattresses in bed comfortable. At the bottom, you can use coffee from the coffee maker. Well equipped gym. Bus access towards NYC - about 8 min on foot. The ticket cost is 6.9 dollars.

We had a wonderful stay at Nir’s home. It was very clean and welcoming. The pool was just lovely and much needed on some very warm days. Especially after working hard all day! The kitchen was very well equipped with everything you would need to cook gourmet meals! Nice large subzero refrigerator as well. Very spacious home and well designed for private areas. Air conditioning was fabulous as was hot water in the many bathrooms. Lots of towels for bath and pool .Beds we’re comfortable which was amazing. Close to parkways, grocery and gym. We felt very much at hime. Nir is an outstanding kind host and communicates very well if there is an issue. We hope to stay again in the future! I highly recommend Nir’s home!!!

Martha's place was an absolute gem in Rego Park! The entire upstairs floor offered surprising spaciousness and privacy despite technically being a shared space. The comfortable beds, large bathroom, and ample closet space made it feel like home. The open kitchen and excellent TV setup with numerous viewing options were wonderful bonuses. The location couldn't be better - fantastic walking neighborhood with easy access to subway, parks, and countless dining options. Just a quick 20-minute ride to Manhattan made exploring the city effortless. Martha respects guests' privacy while maintaining a welcoming atmosphere. The proximity to Flushing Meadows Park, Citi Field, and shopping centers adds tremendous value. The fast WiFi was perfect for my remote work needs. This place truly deserves its high rating - I've already recommended it to friends and family visiting NYC. Cannot wait to return on my next trip to Queens!

Jeff's place has a lot of character and is spacious. The setting is excellent, near the water, with Satterly Landing right down the road. We enjoyed our stay.

I have stayed at Jean Francois home several times. I always feel comfortable there. His home is spotless, easy to travel to, close to town, lot’s a great shops and restaurant’s and in a beautiful area. Jean Francois is also very friendly and responsive when I communicate. It’s a lovely space and I can’t wait to return!

Second time staying at the cottage. Very cozy, felt right at home for me and my daughter. Micaela is truly a 10/10! So inviting, attention to details, very flexible and accommodating. Looking forward to another visit.
