Vacation rentals with a patio in Gaiole in Chianti

Tammy and Eme were wonderful hosts. My wife and I booked for quite a long stay as part of a sabbatical in Italy. We couldn’t have asked for a better experience. Casa al Poggio is in a quiet location, surrounded by spectacular countryside, between two small towns, each charming in its own way, and with easy access to both Florence and Siena. Tammy and Eme offered great recommendations regarding places to explore in the local area and a host of tips that helped us get the most out of our stay. We absolutely intend to return and stay with them again.

The apartment is located near the Cascine, a 5-minute walk from the Tramway to the Center. It is small but has everything to feel good and the location is ideal for visiting Florence. For us, it was also perfect for the Concert at the Visarno Arena, which is within walking distance. The check-in was uncomplicated and Marta was very helpful in letting us do the late check-out, we appreciated not having to leave the apartment immediately at 11:00 a.m. but in the afternoon... thus avoiding being in the city in the heat since our bus left in the evening. We'll be back!

We had a wonderful 4 day stay, thank you for your hospitality, to all the staff and family. First class, recommended restaurants plus made reservations for us, which were needed, and recommended sites to visit. Rooms were spacious and clean, grounds were beautiful, wine tasting and Stephan’s knowledge of wine making made the tour. We also had breakfast every morning, and one evening had a dinner, recommended. A beautiful couple, so glad we meet them. Hopefully we will be back again.

Although there were a couple of issues with one tv and the washer dryer, Teona, Ivanna's property manager was always responsive and followed up to see that issues were resolved. We thought that the apartment was very beautiful and the neighborhood felt safe. It was quiet, and some of Ivanna's recommendations for restaurants were pe.rfect. We wouldn't hesitate to come back

We spent two nights at Valentina's place. We appreciated her proactive approach before we arrived and she was very responsive to our messages when we had questions. There was a kitchen that was functional, the bathroom was clean and the terrace was the WOW highlight of our stay. We were 4 adults in the accommodation, which is a little tight, but for 2 nights it was perfect. The sofa bed and the bed were very comfortable and we were even able to do our laundry there. The location is perfect, the view from the terrace is breathtaking and we were able to walk to downtown Florence several times and we enjoyed the grocery store a few steps from the accommodation to stock up. I can’t say enough about our hosts! They were communicative from start to finish and our experience would not have been the same without them. Our favorite part was doing the cooking class and having dinner with them and their family.

Eleonora is a gracious and generous host. She replied to any concern or question promptly and was helpful in all matters. Her spacious apartment has a truly exquisite garden where I was able to unwind after a busy day in Florence. I spent a wonderful month at her place near Porta Romana, which is a charming part of Florence within 30 minutes walk or less than 10 minute bus ride to the center.

This is our second summer spent staying here and we absolutely love it. The private garden provides the feel of being in the countryside but you are 5 minutes (if that) from the city center of Radda.

Guilia, Donatella & Antonio were excellent to deal with responding very quickly to any questions. This is the cleanest air b & b I have ever stayed in and very well equipped (lots of coat hangers!!) The view from the patio at the rear of the property is so beautiful and peaceful. All we wanted to do was sit and enjoy the nature. Village centre only 5 minutes by car where there is several restaurants (best to make reservation) of varying price ranges. You can also walk into village. If you cross the main road at the bottom of the track to the air b & b you can walk on a track through the olive trees and come out in the village centre save walking on road). Small but excellent supermarket (closed on Sunday) 10 minute by car. Lots of interesting places to visit nearby. Enjoy your stay.

Duddova is a small, very quiet place – ideal for those seeking relaxation and seclusion. We were allowed to spend 3 wonderful weeks in Emanuele's lovingly renovated house – and it was even more beautiful than the photos promise. The rooms are spacious and offer plenty of space to feel good. Particularly noteworthy is the beautiful garden and the fantastic view from the terrace as well as from the bedroom and bathroom. The view across the valley is simply priceless! Check-in and check-out were absolutely straightforward. The property is very private and designed with a lot of love for detail – a real oasis of tranquility. The location is ideal for exploring the surroundings and attractions – a car is essential for this, however. Communication with Emanuele was always warm, quick and helpful. I had a wonderful time staying at this place. The location is quiet and ideal to fully enjoy the beauty of the Tuscan countryside – perfect to escape the ordinary. The apartment was just perfect for us: very nicely decorated, cozy and nothing was really missing. Everything was clean and exactly as described. I would come back anytime!

We felt very comfortable at Adriana's and the accommodation was very modern, clean and well maintained. The outdoor area with the hot tub was also super nice. The way to the accommodation is a bit narrow and curvy, which can be a bit challenging for inexperienced Italian vacationers, but it is quite feasible.

We had a wonderful week-long visit. I wish we had stayed longer. The villa is beautiful. It is spacious, clean, with modern amenities and appliances but also has some very nice antique furniture and decor. The outdoor patio is really amazing, with views of distant Tuscan hills and farms, olive and cypress trees - a great place to eat and relax outdoors. Nearby Arezzo is a great place to visit. There are many interested museums, churches and places to visit in the older section of the town (including the Basilica di San Francesco with frescoes by Piero della Francesca), but there are also more modern parts of town with shops and restaurants, and ample parking. The villa is also within easy driving distance of many other surrounding towns (such as Cortona) and places to visit. Our hosts were super helpful and friendly, and we especially enjoyed the olive oil that is provided and made from the trees growing on the property. We would definitely stay here again.

Where do I start. Words do not express how beautiful this place is. Very very quiet and peaceful. We only spent 3 days. Visited a winery that Bianca setup for us at short notice. We were ill prepared and did not have a car to get around but worked out really well for us. We walked about 15 minutes into town close by and did a little grocery shopping. Bianca is an excellent host. I would definitely recommend this rustic gem. Until next time

Room it's just like the pictures, checkin was really good, Lorenzo send all the details in advance. if you arrive to Firenze Santa María Novella you have to walk arround 15 minutes to the appartment. Quiet zone perfect to rest.

Even prior to booking the apartment, the host were very responsive to our questions. Once we booked it, they were very proactive and welcoming us to the apartment. Flexible check-in and they met us at the property. The pictures don’t do it justice. Felt like home. They were very responsive during our trip. Great quiet location. 10 minutes walking to the Domo area. Local area, full of great restaurants and shops. Highly recommend. Would definitely stay again.

I was a wonderful place, a home for our few days stay. All important things were walkable. Great nearby restaurant recommendations. Host was lovely. Great spot , in a great area . Bakery and really good grocery near by.

Carolina’s home is possibly the most beautiful we have ever stayed. From a well stocked kitchen to views of local vineyards, it really has it all. Carolina was responsive and a brilliant host. I can’t wait to make a trip back here!

Great stay! Beautiful views and great location only about five minutes from the main highway to go north to Florence or south to Siena.
