The Sleepy Racoon Cabin is a small, simple house in an incredibly beautiful and peaceful setting. A wild turkey was often nearby. So many birds - a joy to watch - flocked to the feeders. There were quail and lizards - we loved it! Convenient to King's Canyon, it made a great home base for our exploration of the park. Kim's hospitality was truly wonderful. She was there to welcome us, answer questions, and she made us feel welcome and at home. If you're looking for a quiet, peaceful retreat - if you want to spend time in Kings Canyon and Sequoia National Park - the Sleepy Racoon is a great place to be.

We were lucky to have found Shank’s Cabin in Mariposa for a last minute Yosemite trip (about 1hr away from Arch Rock Entrance. The property was extremely easy to find with the hosts’ clear instructions. It was also very private. The backyard was beautiful, we were able to sit in the hot tub while grilling our dinner, enjoying the stars and the sound of the stream that runs right along the property. The hosts were extremely responsive and friendly, easily accommodating our needs. The only downside for us was the mosquitos, but that obviously comes with the territory— just do not forget your bug spray, otherwise it will be impossible to enjoy the nice front porch or the backyard. We hope to return to Shank’s Cabin in the future!

Our stay at Jamie’s Airbnb was absolutely perfect. The location strikes the ideal balance, tucked away just enough for peace and quiet, yet only minutes from the lake and the main strip filled with restaurants and bars. The cabin itself is amazing, cozy yet spacious, with plenty of indoor and outdoor games to keep everyone entertained. The living room and upstairs loft are incredibly roomy, making it great for families or groups. What truly stood out was the kitchen. Out of all the Airbnbs we've stayed at, this one had the most fully equipped kitchen by far. You honestly just need to bring your clothes, food, and fishing poles, and you're all set for a great time. We’ll definitely be making this our go-to spot anytime we’re visiting Shaver Lake. Lovely well appointed studio with high end finishes and all the amenities you need!

The location is in a quiet rural neighborhood near a creek. The grounds are woodsy with lots of lovely plants and a hummingbird feeder outside the kitchen window. Upon arrival we found fresh baked cookies and fresh cut little flower bouquets. Walking down by the creek scratched our itch for our love of the mountain creeks near our favorite camping area. Inside is a cozy mix of Victorian cottage and modern amenities. It’s close to town for shopping and dining options. Yosemite National Park is an easy 1-1/2 hours away. Kadi is a great host!

We originally planned to stay for one month… but ended up falling in love with this place and stayed for three! From February through April, my boyfriend and I (both remote workers) called this our home and truly couldn’t have asked for a better experience. The house had everything we needed, and Taylor, the host, was incredible—super responsive and kind. We only ever reached out about a few Amazon packages—zero issues the entire time! Every weekend we were off exploring Yosemite (easy drive), and Bass Lake is just 10 minutes away—we loved going on runs there after work. There’s even a trail right off the backyard that leads to a peaceful creek, which became part of our daily routine. We brought our two dogs and the neighborhood was so dog-friendly—they even made friends with the neighbor’s pups! While the home feels tucked away and serene, grocery stores and restaurants were just 8 minutes away. The photos don’t do it justice—we’re so sad to leave and already dreaming about returning!

I loved the farm experience! Being surrounded by animals was so fun! The hosts were super friendly and fun to talk to. The cabin was clean and a good glamping option for when it’s too cold to camp in Sequoia.

This place is stunning and peaceful. The river is right there to see and listen to. The outdoor seating area is beautiful. The home has everything one needs to have a wonderful stay. The energy of this home is calm. My husband and I had a wonderful time and I would highly recommend this location.

This was an incredible and super unique stay in Infinite house! Kenneth was great, and the spot was very clean. It was amazing to just sit in the house looking out to the river and surrounding canyon, especially at sunset. A cool bonus is that the place is perfectly sealed from the outside with double-paned glass walls, so you can observe the wildlife in AC and feel like you’re in it without being exposed to it… especially handy when tired from a long hike! We stayed here to go to Sequoia National Park (~1.5 hour drive away), then spent a full day just chilling at the place and enjoying the grounds. It was a perfect trip. Will certainly return.

Great hosts, they had almost anything you could need in their places ( spices, blankets, utensils, clothes iron, streaming services, board games and more). If I’m ever back up there again I will defiantly be back!

The beautifully curated interior and peaceful urban farm setting created the most magical getaway that truly exceeded all of our expectations! Amanda and Collin are lovely hosts — they went above and beyond to make us feel welcome and provided so many great recommendations that helped us make the most of our time in Fresno. When we weren’t adventuring in the surrounding Sierra Nevadas, we enjoyed cooking in the beautiful kitchen and hanging out on the tranquil back patio. We were conveniently located just minutes away from so many amazing local stops within Fresno, and yet the cottage felt completely private and totally removed from the bustling city. This feels like Fresno’s best hidden gem, and we’re convinced there’s no better place to stay for those visiting Fresno or the nearby National Parks. We would easily rate this cozy cottage 10 stars if we could ⭐️ Hope to visit again soon!

Transformed double garage into a Beautifully decorated Steam Punk car cave. Wonderful, functional full kitchen, great laundry. Bed was soft. Lights give it a cozy ambient feel, with the little natural light. Pretty outside space with lots of seating and privacy. Unfortunately Garage doors are not sound proof so this allowed for the noise of the next door neighbors children playing in the pool during the days and the dog barking to be a little disruptive while working.

Absolutely loved our stay at this cozy mountain cabin! It was clean, peaceful, and the sunsets were absolutely stunning. The hosts were great—friendly, responsive, and made everything easy. Highly recommend for a relaxing escape!

This location was surprisingly more spacious than the photos posted and it came with A LOT of accommodations. These host really put a lot of thought and heart into making this place a perfect stay. Janet kindly and briefly welcomed us when we first arrived. There’s a wall separating the guest homes outside dining, jacuzzi, bbq, fire pit and bird watching area from the main home, so it’s plenty private! We definitely recommend this stay and would visit again.

Wow I don't have words for have beautiful this place was. It really felt right out of a movie and so serene and beautiful. You can watch the sunset right from the yard and the beautiful turkey vultures are just flying around. Please book this place for an u forgettable experience!

We had a wonderful stay in Three Rivers with Terry and Noelle! They were kind and flexible as we had to figure out some specifics of the dates of our stay. They were also flexible about arriving late. The bungalow was private, had a beautiful view, and is exactly as described. The view was amazing and they also allowed us to use the main deck. The location close to the park was great as well. Would stay again!

The cabin was adorable and had nice new fixtures and amenities. Perfect for 2 adults and maybe a kid or two. Jamie was super responsive and even helped us out with getting firewood during a late spring cold snap. I would definitely come back here in a heartbeat.

This is a hidden gem nearby Yosemite if you don’t want to go camping. Host was very accommodating and friendly which made the experience even better. Will definitely recommend to friends & family.

Raquel’s “tiny home” was perfect for my family. Thirty minutes away from sequoia and an hour and half from kings canyon. The town surrounding the area had a lot of great places to eat. Very kid friendly. 11/10
