“Such a cute little (and exceptionally clean!!) place! My mom and I traveled to La Crosse for our annual mother/daughter trip and this was the perfect place! Located near the water but close enough to get to downtown. The pullout couch was the most comfortable pullout couch I have ever slept on!! My mom said the bed was also very comfortable! Pam and Gary thought of everything (condiments in the fridge, seasonings for cooking, and coffee!). Lots of wildlife to enjoy on the deck with your morning cup of coffee/tea. Highly recommend The Pearl ice cream shop, Riverside Park, Granddad Bluff, and the Lock + Dam for a bit of history/understanding of the Mississippi. Hope you enjoy your stay in La Crosse!”
Two bedroom cabin on the edge of the Upper Mississippi Wildlife Refuge. Surrounded on one side by beautiful Lake Onalaska with prairie walking trails on the other. You will have access to hiking, biking, kayaking, canoeing, and fishing steps from your door. There are two public boat landings less than a mile away. This cabin has a full kitchen but if you prefer there are several restaurants nearby. Stay and experience all that "God's Country" has to offer. NEW: Wi-Fi Blu-ray/DVD player
“My husband and I loved staying here! We were very comfortable in the cabin which has all of your basic necessities (plus WiFi and Netflix for those rainy nights). It's literally steps away from Lake Onalaska and is perfect for kayaking. It's also a very short drive (or ride) to the Great River State Trail. This is awesome value for a great time up north.”
The BarnWood Company is in the heart of historic downtown Galesville, just off the town square. Reclaimed barn wood decor, fully furnished and functional for a relaxing visit.
“The Barnwood Company showroom/apartment is as unique as it is lovely. Custom built to showcase recycled barnwood furnishings that are also available for purchase, every room of the property is full of character and charm. The space is warm and inviting, perfect for a couples getaway. Galesville itself is a quiet town, in close proximity to Winona, home of the Minnesota Museum of Maritime Art, as well as the somewhat more lively Wisconsin town of La Crosse. It is also near Wisconsin and Minnesota State Parks and fly fishing. We stayed for four nights and enjoyed all of the above activities in that time, with a comfortable home to come back to each evening for rest and meals. Thank you for hosting us!”
