We absolutely LOVED staying at this property! Josh was so thoughtful, all the way down to having cabin socks and a packet of restaurant locations for us to use! The cabin was so charming and we adored the rustic design, plus sitting on the little back patio area was so peaceful in the morning. We had booked for a night to start off our staycation while being off work, and would completely skip getting a hotel and just book this cabin again if given the chance!

This place was a quiet and relaxing retreat after two long days of driving. We got in late, but stayed until the last minute before checkout because we were so grateful to enjoy a peaceful morning at Joy's place. The property is private, quiet, and surrounded by nature. the cabin has everything you need and was very clean. We appreciated the dog-friendly touches, such as the doggy biscuits as well. If you are passing through the St. Louis area and want a quiet, safe place to rest, this is the place for you.

Great place to stay while working in the area. I will stay here again when I'm back in the area. Christa responded very quickly and was very polite and understanding.

My husband and I really enjoyed this quaint, peaceful rental. We had everything that we needed to be very comfortable. The location was central to many restaurants, shopping areas, and local sites. Enjoyed the porches, nature, walkability, and the bikes. We will definitely stay again if we are in the Mascoutah area. Carrie has provided a sweet step back in time filled with history and good vibes. Thank you for a lovely experience!
