Pet-friendly vacation rentals in Frederick County

Such a fun house! Beautiful and comfortable. The only thing I wish we had known in advance was that you need to walk through some of the bedrooms to get to the bathroom, which made for some thoughtful room assignments! We stayed in the winter but this house would clearly be so wonderful for nice weather!

We spent the week of Christmas at Sue and Jim’s place. It was perfect. If we had to be away from home, this was a very good choice and fit for our family. The house is cozy, private and well maintained. Sue was easy to communicate with and the horse farm is serene and peaceful. We have family in Mt Airy so the location was perfect. Very clean, decorated nicely for Christmas (thank you!) and we will stay here again soon!

Andrea was very accommodating for our family visit. It was a get together for my brother who is very ill. We had family and friends from Wyoming, Florida, Georgia, Ohio, etc. It was a wonderful time for all. My brother got to visit his childhood home and neighborhood friends. We had every single thing we needed. A well equipped kitchen, plenty of towels for the bathrooms, clean sheets, etc.

The apartment exceeded our expectations. Cleanliness and attention to details with offerings were outstanding! Nice outdoor space in the back (no privacy from neighbors, but well kept and felt safe.) If you are not familiar with the area, consider that although this is very near the Main Street of Frederick, it is not in a great part of the neighborhood. We chose this place because it is in walking distance to the business district. But there were SO many people walking around who were obviously on heavy drugs, that even my husband didn't want to walk to downtown (and we live in a city ourselves, so we aren't overreacting. When you encounter more people that are high than sober over a 3 day stay, it's a red flag in my book.) Limited on street parking was tricky as well. We didn't feel physically threatened, but it was very uncomfortable to share the narrow sidewalks with passerby, when most every one of them was utterly wasted. Awesome stay if you can ignore surroundings.

We loved everything about Julie's listing. We enjoyed the historic structure, the artwork, all amenities and considerations for adults, children and pets. Julie was very responsive and very accommodating. We would definitely recommend this listing!

Great place, very economical. First floor very well equipped kitchen. Lots of extras, nice tea and. Coffee,nice spices and oils, all necessary appliances. Dining room and living room downstairs, nice half bath downstairs. Sofa bed in living room, curtain close off which was fine for us as all family. Upstairs has two nice bedrooms with bed for two people each. Landing area off of bathroom that can serve as a place for blow up bed or they have a single chair foldout bed available. Very nice bathroom with shower. All nice products. Easy walk to town. We felt very comfortable. One parking spot and easy side street parking for another.

WHAT A GEM! Wow, we had such an pleasurable experience at Firefly Hill Farmhouse. The photos don't do the space full justice. Well decorated, kept, cleaned. With 6 guests and a pet, we all felt we had our own spaces but more than enough room for us to congregate and feel cozy! The fenced in yards were PHENOMENAL for our furry friend as well. Very nice place to host a friends give away. Loved the proximitiy to Frederick and downtown Jefferson. Shout to Jefferson Market. Dianisha was a wonderful host - communicative, kind, and accomodating. Thank you so much - we will be back in 2026!

Needed a place to stay close to home while my home bathroom was being remodeled, pet friendly, and WiFi available to work from home. We had to extend stay several times and Serena was very accommodating. Nice place, nice neighborhood.

Loved staying at the Simon Suite. I came by myself to join a 4 day virtual conference and was looking for a place that had great internet connectivity and beautiful surroundings so I could take breaks in nature. This place fit the bill. I didn't take advantage of all the amenities but did enjoy my walks on their private trails through the woods. I'd like to come again with my whole family to enjoy other outdoor activities or even the awesome projector they have to watch movies on.

WOW! What an amazing air bnb and property! Dawn was a great host and very attentive to our needs and great to talk with. We had dogs with us and were able to use the trails around the property to run them. I cannot wait to come back!

Vlasta and Doug are amazing hosts, they were very attentive to us. I can't describe enough the wonderful experience I had at this place. It is quiet, cozy, and it truly feels like home. P.S. If you love animals there is a big plus, their pets are adorable.

This is the perfect get away. We booked the cabin for two nights, and ended up staying another night because we did not want to leave! It was beautiful, peaceful, cabin was super clean, and staff are really friendly. Our dog had an amazing time, also. It is also a great place for hiking and the pool is awesome!! 100% recommended. We will be back!!!

This is the second time I have stayed for several weeks, and I love it. It's a lovely, well equipped home, in a great location, peaceful, and very close to downtown Frederick. Stephanie is a fantastic host. I'm looking forward to coming back again.

This is a beautiful Airbnb! I’ve stayed in a lot of Airbnb’s and it is clear that Kriste goes above and beyond to provide a good experience. The condo is immaculate and the kitchen well stocked with nice pans, and a great coffee maker. The living room is wonderfully sunny with comfortable furniture, and the bedrooms were dark and quiet, which surprised me for a home on Market Street. I had my grown kids come spend a night and my son used the sleeper sofa. He said he slept really well. On top of the condo being clean and comfortable, the location can’t be beat. It is a couple of blocks from Carroll creek and a plethora of really good restaurants. We walked all over the city and had a relaxing and fun two weeks.

We enjoyed our stay. Denny the caretaker was helpful and friendly. Definitely will plan a longer trip back. Bettina was very nice.. easy instructions. We really enjoyed ourselves.

Honestly, this was exactly what my wife and I needed. A nice quiet getaway without the kids. Everything was amazing and our host went above and beyond. He even was kind enough to bring us breakfast when I commented how amazing his breakfast smelled through the wall. Unfortunately didn’t make it out to one of Anwar’s two restaurants as we hoped. Highly recommend!

This home in the rolling hills of Middletown was what my parents, husband I needed for a trip back to our hometown for a family wedding. Comfortable, clean home with a great kitchen. All the appliances I needed to prepare our meals. Lots of room in the lower level too. Close to restaurants in Middletown and easy access to Frederick and beyond. Highly recommend this home.

Heather and Brian’s home was amazing. The check-in process was very easy and simple and the place was very clean and organized. The neighbors were very nice as well and welcomed us into the building. My favorite part was the large balcony that overlooked the town. Would highly recommend this stay!

We found a quiet, cozy and very clean cottage in which we enjoyed a very nice stay. Features we appreciated included a great kitchen, water purifier at the kitchen sink, comfortably heated bedrooms, bench upon which to sit and unwind in a tranquil backyard, nice views, covered parking, beautiful neighborhood in which to walk, and many other decorative and small amenities (inside and out) that make one feel right at home. Thanks for a memorable week-end!

A terrific place for a family getaway! The house has everything you need, including a well-equipped kitchen and plenty of books, puzzles and games for entertainment. Nice woodsy setting with downtown Frederick just a short drive away.
